I’m Italian and I don’t really see mocking of black or “latina” women in that shoot. I think you’re seeing it from a US point of view. We do have very different perceptions of south-american and african women : we do not necessarily have trashy as part of a stereotype for them. Maybe poor, because most of the countries of origin are.
No, if anything, this seems like mocking of some trash trends that are typical here amongst young(and not so young) girls: the super thin drawn in eyebrow, the heavy make up and trashy clothes are a thing for some italian ladies here, too.

He, like many of the men in hollywood don’t care much about their skin. They don’t want to pull a Micki Rourke but they don’t really try that hard to NOT age either. Most of the men over 30 in Hollywood look much older than they are because of it. It doesn’t seem to do much to ruin their careers though. Yes, I agree, Viggo needs a good moisturizer and sunblock.
I feel like there’s no point in reporting on the things Limbaugh says. Him saying something crazy/stupid/insane etc is his thing.
I sort of agree: Limbaugh is certainly irrelevant and seems stupidly desperate for headlines. But at the same time, openly supporting Joseph Kony is…unbelievable. And, I think, worthy of reporting. I mean, the man (Kony) is responsible for so much death, damage and rape and it’s been going on for YEARS. So Limbaugh trying to make this about anything is else is just disgusting.
I agree. That’s my point. Limbaugh is disgusting. I know it’s hard to ignore him when he says despicable things, but seriously, it’s like reporting on the Kardashians. To me they’re of the same ilk.
Emma Watson has won a lead role in the new Sofia Coppola’s movie. It’s a big deal for her. She said that she will take her 3rd term out of her Uk college. She wrote a message on her official website:
“Hey Guys,
I’m just packing to go out to Los Angeles for “Bling Ring”.
I’m taking my 3rd term out of Worcester College to make sure I don’t compromise my studies or my part in the film. I am so excited to have the opportunity to learn from Sofia and make what I think is a very important film. This is a bit of dream for me really.”
That’s still droping out school like last year. That’s funny and ironic for a girl who say school is so so so important for her. A girl who drop out school everytime she has a new movie since the end of Harry Potter. Pathetic and funny.

She’s juggling a career and school, and clearly committed to both. I think it’s responsible of her to take the time off to make the movie so her schooling doesn’t suffer. Lots of people take a semester off for this or that with no ill consequence. In her situation, I can especially see why that would be the case. She’s been in school consistently since she started except for one semester off. And also…why is that anyone’s business but hers? In a year or two she’ll have her degree. And a solid career. How very pathetic of her.
She’s responsible and mature, in my opinion.
I just finf it ironic because she is one of the most vocal celebrity about this subject. At the beginning, school was her priority and now, every year, she will drop it for another movie.
She is lucky because she is famous. For anybody, school wouldn’t accept you after the second time.
Sure they would. Deferments are common. It’s not the same as “dropping out.” With a deferment, you ask permission to be relieved of your studies for a set time period. I have a friend who deferred every other semster because of work commitments. It took her twice as long to get her undergrad degree, but she got her doctorate with me.

Viggo totally deserves this award. He did a great job with Sigmund Freud in this film. He made him totally relatable, humourous, and even kind of sweet. Not to mention hot.
