Last night, To Rome With Love had a special screening in NYC, Woody Allen’s hometown (although he’s been spending a lot of time in Europe these days). As you can imagine, tons of celebrities came out for the screening, making this one of the most interesting red carpets in a while. Unfortunately, I keep hearing that To Rome With Love is a POS. Oh, well. Woody averages about 2 crappy films per one good-to-decent one. And yes, I am a defender of Woody’s good films – I love Annie Hall, Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway, Match Point and Sweet and Lowdown. I liked Vicky Christina Barcelona and Midnight In Paris too. Anyway…
Photos from the screening! Penelope Cruz just gets more and more beautiful, year after year. I buy that she’s not getting tweaked or ‘Toxed or filler’d. I think she’s just aging like a badass. Penelope’s dress is Emilio Pucci – I do like it. It’s a beautiful shade of aubergine. She looks so lovely.

I agree. She’s 38. When I was in my late ’30’s I didn’t really have wrinkles and she has that kind of skin that will age well. You can tell. Yes, she looks gorgeous for sure.

I guess it’s just me, but something about the fit of the dress seems off… But the colour is gorgeous and she looks great.

Penelope looks fantastic, but I think she’s had some tweaking done. She was looking a little long in the tooth not that long ago…my guess is she stopped filling and freezing during pregnancy and breastfeeding but has since rejoined the club, albeit in the most natural-looking and looks-enhancing way.
