Haughty Dita Von Teese has enough fame on her own now and can get rid of the reason people paid attention to her these past few years. Page Six reports that Dita’s husband of one year, shock rocker Marilyn Manson, has been boozing and staying away from her and they haven’t communicated in some time. Dita is about to serve divorce papers to Manson while he’s recording and they claim she couldn’t get in touch with Manson to even warn him about it.
Page Six has learned that the pasty-faced Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, will be served with divorce papers today at a Los Angeles recording studio where he’s working on his next album, with Von Teese citing “irreconcilable differences” in giving him the boot.
Sources say the raven-haired bombshell filed for the split right before Christmas, but Manson has been unaware of it because she couldn’t get in touch with him.
“He’s not been responsive,” a friend said. “She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can’t even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can’t even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn’t even noticed.”
Friends say Manson had been boozing heavily last year, much to Von Teese’s dismay, but she’d desperately tried to hold on. “She really tried to make this work,” the friend said.
Why does this not surprise me? Maybe he’s just sick of her and is drinking to forget about his mistake. Back in June I said that Dita and Marilyn weren’t going to last after reading her comments about how much better she was than other hardworking strippers.
Dita and Marilyn dated for seven years before getting married in December 2005. They have some cats and dogs but no children.

Don’t worry. I agree with you… she does seem very full of herself. I don’t see what the big deal is, so she’s a “classy stripper,” it’s because she married someone famous. I’m sure if any other hardworking stripper married a rich guy, she’d be able to buy expensive costumes and do high-paying shows in Vegas too. Shit, if I could afford a giant martini glass to play around in, I’d do it (except maybe just in my own home haha).
How come they couldn’t figure this out in the 7 years that they courted– that he has those sorts of demons…?

Most “fetish wanabees models ” are bitter and jealous about Von Teese .If they think they are better then how come they don’t prove it ?

dita von teese has so much more talent then marilyn manson, this could be the best thing she has ever done, her fame does not come from the fact that she was married to manson but is so because she is an extremely talented burlesque dancer,

DVT has talent? Posing as a stripper is talent then I’d agree but she is just a celebrity wanna-be slut. MM is unique and while I do not listen to his music (it is not my taste) I will say that we need creative people and in that vein he is creative. Well happy new dita von tease new years to you all.

Ms Von Teese is a burlesque entertainer, not just a ‘stripper’. Now I enjoy strippers, but there is a difference between erotic/soft porn and erotica. She is someone who is, to me, in the same league as any professional entertainer such as MM, just much more talented and does not need to look ‘shock rock’ in order to get attention. If you are really talented you do not need a costume that makes you look like an alien. More people know what MM looks like then what he does. I just do not understand how he ends up with such beuatiful woman as DVT and Rose McGowan.
Well, she got her ride to glory and then she ditch Manson after she “discovered” that he still got unresolved issues.

I haven’t seen Dita’s act but I’ve read enough of her to know she’s no ordinary stripper and she has created a niche for herself – very clever I’d say.
I’ve seen MM in a few interviews, and I was surprised at how intelligent he sounded and, actually, funny he was.
Ive known Brian, aka MM since before he was famous. Talented he is, but unfortunately he has an ego the size of Texas. I cannot see him being able to share the spotlight for too long with someone else who obviously has a similar sized ego.
As for all his boozing, he’s just trying so hard to be what he thinks a rock star is supposed to be. Underneath all the drinking, supposed drug use (I really have doubts that he does many drugs knowing him personally) and crazy antics he a pretty normal, insecure guy. He doesn’t know when to stop playing rock star and just be real. It would be pretty damn hard to married to anyone who didn’t know when to just be themself.
You gotta respect her for not seeking spousal support though. (read on another site) That’s rare these days!

look, Brian is having a hard time at the moment. originaly he has quit making music after Holywood. however after he was contacted by Tim Burton to do the music on the remake of the Nightmare Before christmas, he thought about writing music again. he has since been working on the new album. time though did not heal all wounds. making this album opened alot of old cuts that stemmed from the “teen suicide” scandal from his earlier albums. some of you said that you too would have asked for a divorce if you woke up next to brian. but you dont seem to relize just how divernt views are. people like us would have just as much trouble waking up to people you would call “normal” Brian is alot different then he was 8 years ago. but he will always have my respect.

Well, if this a rumor, it’s a pretty fucked up one. I agree that DVT is beautiful, but to some people (me) so is Mr. Warner. And how could you not figure out that someone has demons during the amount of time that they dated. She wasn’t nearly as well known before she married Brian as she is now. And what do people say when her name is mentioned…’she’s married to Marilyn Manson.’ Dum dee dum.

a couple of dangerous assumptions by some…
a) art comes in specific forms and dancing/stripping/entertaining, is not equal to making music (thus Marilyn Manson’s art is superior to that of Dita Von Teese’s). Art is nothing if not subjective, just like beauty has always been to the eye of the beholder.
b) I agree with the former comment about relationships – they change before and after marriage. It would seem some people are only to eager and point and laugh to somebody that – let’s be honest – fucks up exactly the same way many of us do by falling in love and marrying the wrong person.
