That really isn’t a true double denim look, in fact I just though it was a blue shirt. Have I been living in the UK too long? I’m Canadian and this ‘Canadian tuxedo’ thing is new to me. And my friends. Who have lived in Canada their whole lives.
I’ve only ever lived in Canada, and only heard this for the first time on the Ellen Page post… I feel like this might be a term coined outside of Canada to poke some fun 😛

@Joanna I cannot tell if your comment is serious or sarcastic. The ellipses do not indicate either way. I’ve not visited Texas nor found anyone who uses the term to be able to tell m more than cowboys (past and present) often wear a full denim ensemble. I speculate it’s because the fabric is durable, but I cannot be certain.

I will have you know that I am canadian and would never be caught dead in jean bottoms with a jean shirt. I know Shania did the whole jeans and jean vest thing in the mid-90’s is that where this started?

Do none of you Canadians remember the closing olympic ceremonys and what they wore? Its always been called a Canadian Tuxedo. I live in western Canada.
In my neck of the western Canadian woods this has always been called a Texan Tuxedo, but whatever, it’s funny regardless.

I was in London during the closing and my friend was on the Canadian olympic team as a sailor and we had a hilarious photoshoot at home before he left to go in with his amazing closing ceremony outfit… There were sunglasses and a hat involved!

my favorite moment of hate was earlier this year while she was whining about something, scarborough stuck his hand in her face and actually snapped his fingers. it was degrading and obnoxious and she just carried on; with the fratpac of geist and his boston sidekick sitting idly by…
Mika was horrible to Hillary when she ran for Pres in 2008. So much shade and distortions from her it was jaw-dropping.
Can’t look at her the same way after watching months on end of it. She would sigh loudly, roll her eyes, cut people off that were saying the least bit of of straight news about Hillary, and express faux indignation over her own distortions of events. It was bizarre to watch.
The first serious female contender for the highest office in the country and Mika ‘mean girls’ her the entire time.

This doesn’t look like a Canadian Tuxedo to me. Jay Leno wears Canadian Tuxedos every day. From the drape and look of the shirt fabric, it looks like she’s wearing a silk blouse and cute shorts. Anyway, she looks great, as always.
Of course Ben doesn’t want any more children if he is the subject of a blind I once read; he’s waiting for her to not be pregnant long enough, and the kids are old enough, for him to leave.
