Here are some photos from yesterday’s CBS/Showtime/CW Upfronts/Summer party. There were so many interesting TV people in attendance, and I wish we could cover everybody, but from what I’ve seen, many of you don’t care that much about TV people. Unless they’re the Kardashians. Ha. Anyway, there was one stand-out in attendance, mainly because I really thought that some contestants from Ru Paul’s Drag Race had crashed the party. Turns out it was just Tyra Banks and her WIG OF DOOM. OMG.
Really, though, this whole look is a hot mess. The dress is awful, her boobs are jammed in there and pushed up to an uncomfortable level. The earrings look like curtain sashes and the wig… my lord. MESS.
Pauley Perrette (from NCIS) was there. I love Pauley. Did you know she’s the most popular and beloved person on television? True story.
Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott are doing some weird CBS drama together – he plays a Secret Service agent and she plays the president’s physician. I don’t get how that stretches out for a whole television drama, but sure.
Sarah Michelle Gellar would have been the best-dressed person at the event if her makeup was a little bit better and she had worn her hair down.
Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs do that terrible 2 Broke Girls comedy. I tried watching it once and I couldn’t believe it was actually on the air. It’s awful.

also, SMG looked fab and 2 broke girls isn’t that bad. 1st season was good and 2nd was hit or miss. crossing fingers for 3rd season.
and, Alison Janney will always be perfection since her performance in “10 things I hate about you” and most recently “Veep”.
2nd season was horrible and I stopped watching. The blonde one is so annoying and I got sick of watching her walk horribly in heels and shortie shorts. She’s painfully thin too but its so awkward to watch he walk in heels, omg.
2 broke girls is awful because they think ‘shocking’ dialogue is funny. It’s basically, excuse the language, ‘vagina joke, vagina joke, racist joke, offending lesbian joke, penis, vagina joke, VAGINAS!’ Seriously when is there going to be a comedy that is funny because its funny and not be ause they say gross ‘shocking’ things. Ugh.
I watched 5 minutes of 2 Broke Girls last night for the first time. I couldn’t believe how awful the acting was. I like a lot of very good and very bad TV and couldn’t believe this was actually on the air.

She has horrible legs for a supermodel. But her face is so beautiful. Those eyes.

Kat looks like she lost weight. I hope she doesn’t go the way of Christina Ricci or Amanda Seyfried and fall prey to the weight obsessed Hollywood bs, getting rid of all her gorgeous curves for acceptance. Stay strong Kat.

I tried watching two broke girls, i can’t stand it. her voice is so annoying and the plot lines/acting are stupid. i do know people who like it; but too me it’s too fake/bad. plus the blond wears heels while she’s waitressing. no one wears heels waitressing!
The wig is a hot mess and she could have backed off on the cleavage, but Tyra is still gorgeous!
Don’t care about any of the others. I rarely watch network television.
Agree about Tyra. She doesn’t always dress or style herself to my taste but I find her beauty outstanding.

And the network’s wonder why dvd sales of, say, Friends and Seinfeld, etc. are popular – those shows are G.B. Shaw compared to Two Broke Girls.
Is it just me or does Beth Behrs look weird in that picture? Growing out bangs is awful, but that hairstyle is even worse (for her). Does nothing for her face. To me she looks like a guy in that picture.
When did Tyra steal Christina Hendrick’s boobs?
Y’know, Tyra could totally rock that makeup and maybe even the dress with different hair. She would look beautiful with very-closed cropped hair, a la Amber Rose. But as it is, pretty messy.
I always wonder if Tyra’s chest is real and who the hell is picking her wigs. And WTF has Sarah Gellar done to her face?
Okay so everyone (especially Pauley) looked good except for Tyra’s wig. I do like her dress however. And did you know that Whitney Cummings is a writer and producer for Two Broke Girls? I don’t like that show but know others who find it hilarious.

Besides the wig, her eyes look CAH-RAZY! She seriously looks like she’s on something, or is smizing waaay too hard. And am I just imagining things, or does she look a little tweaked??
Face it. Face it. Red carpet attire is nothing more than costuming, couture or not. not. I wouldn’t be surprised if T. in Tyra Banks (not tuberculosis), didn’t say something to the effect of, “Let’s floozy me up tomorrow and have some fun.” So who care.
Two Broke Girls seems like it’s trying to hard to be Two and a Half Men for girls in their. 20’s. That blonde chick is obnoxious. She’d fit in better in the pool of Hollywood impersonators as Paris Hilton – if that isn’t where she came from.

Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs are actually quite funny in 2 Broke Girls. The writers come up with some interesting scripts and I haven’t stopped laughing, yet. More power to them.
