RCA has released several new promotional images for Miley Cyrus’ upcoming Bangerz album that comes out in October. Get ready for another month (at least) of Miley in our faces until this album inevitably breaks some online sales records. At least this post will grant a slight reprieve to those of you who are entirely sick of seeing Miley’s tongue sticking out all over the place. Of course Miley can’t help but to grab her crotch in the above image. I do find it slightly disturbing that Miley is clearly playing up her “young” image with a bouquet of balloons while also attempting to be “mature” by flashing her rack in a transparent top. What a gross contrast.
Anyway, we’re still talking about Miley Cyrus’ cheeky performance at the VMAs on Sunday evening because that was the ultimate goal. Miley couldn’t be happier about the continued outrage to her twerking. Miley wants us to know that Billy Ray is proud of her booty shaking even though she got him in trouble with parent associations. God, I never want to see Billy Ray twerking.

Yet there’s still the lingering question of exactly what Liam Hemsworth thinks of his betrothed’s wild onstage antics. Yesterday, we heard that Miley and Liam were fighting over her public displays, but that’s not really shocking at all. What is shocking is that Liam hasn’t cut the cord yet. The backstory of this ill-fated engagement was that Liam proposed to Miley immediately after he watched her sing “Jolene” during the now-nostalgic “backyard sessions.” Now he finds himself with a completely different and wholly ratchety girl — at least as far as public appearances are concerned. According to Radar Online, Liam was “absolutely mortified” with Miley’s raunchy VMA act and has maybe, finally had enough:

The 20-year-old twerked her way to controversy by grinding up on Robin Thicke – even grabbing his privates – with her tongue wagging out and an insider reveals Liam could not be going in a more clean-cut career path, which has him worried about his relationship with Miley.
“Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of g***** attitude isn’t exactly what he signed up for,” a pal tells Radar. “Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn’t be more embarrassed. He doesn’t really see anything sexy about what she did on stage.” It should be noted that Liam wasn’t even present for her VMA performance, but got an earful about it after it aired.
And as if the couple weren’t already having issues in their relationship, the insider tells Radar that Miley’s pushing Liam further and further away – even though she’s desperate to make it work with him.
“It’s not just Liam that Miley is pushing away…his entire team is urging him to part ways with her because she’s nothing but negative for his reputation and career,” the source says.
“Liam is a serious actor with a growing career, while Miley has just turned into a joke.” The insider is adamant that Miley’s wild behavior is just too much and Liam won’t take it for much longer. “It’s pretty much over. He knows he can’t stay with her when this is who she’s become,” the source concluded. He doesn’t want to babysit her anymore. He has to move on.”

“Liam is a serious actor with a growing career” — bitch, please. I was actually riding along with this piece of Hemsworth propaganda until that point. To date, Liam has made sad faces in Hunger Games and watched his leading-man debut go down the box-office drain. He is not a “serious” actor any more than his co-star, Amber Heard.
So what shall we make of this report that has probably been planted by camp Hemsworth? At this point, I think he still needs Miley more than she needs him, but she seems determined to hang on. These two crazy kids need to wake up and realize that it just wasn’t meant to be between them.

I often wonder if he doesn’t stay with her because he’s trying to figure out which choice is more advantageous for him in the short-long term: to stay (and keep himself visible/high-profile) or leave (and risk disappearing along with his career). Not because he “loves” her.
I don’t know where anyone gets this idea that Miley is helping or hurting Liam’s career. They aren’t even in the same field and as far as I can tell all her own movies have flopped. She has little to no pull in the film industry.
If he wanted to be more high profiled he would be hitching onto his brother’s coattails a little more. Name dropping him in interviews, attending all his premieres, etc.
Also, Liam was pretty decent in Paranoia. To be fair the writing, and/or the directing was so bad not even Oldman or Ford could shine through.
Anyway they could be staying together because we all probably had that one toxic relationship that shouldn’t have lasted as long as it did but it was a security blanket.

I said it back when everyone here was slamming Liam for stepping out on ‘poor Miley’ earlier this year, around the time she started her ‘I’m a down white girl, watch me grab my crotch’ thing … I bet his family called him home to have a heart to heart with him about Miley. It’s not just that he and Miley are in two different kinds of entertainment (though they met on the set of a movie), it that they are from two different types of families/upbringing as well.
Miley was allowed to grow wild, while Liam is from a close, structured family. In five years Miley will be a great catch for some lucky guy. But right now she’s going through a ‘pushing the boundaries’ phase, and Liam seems to be in a ‘meet, marry, have children’ kind of guy.
If he’s using Miley for his career and publicity, why doesn’t he make himself a visible presence in her life? They’ve barely been spotted together in months. He doesn’t appear to be leveraging the relationship at all.
She and Macklemore should get together…they have the same haircut.

The comparison with Swift is stupid because she barely dates a guy longer than 3 months and writes songs about him. Cyrus has been in long relationships and most guys are quite positive about her. She doesn’t drag them through the mud all the time and while her song Wrecking Ball is said to be about Nick Jonas, it’s still a good song, mature and in response to his song Wedding Bells about her (and Liam). She’s with Liam since 2009, so it’s normal she would be emotional about a break-up unlike Taylor who just seeks new material for her songs.

Thank you! Every time I stick up for her, say I worked with her a few times & love her, people bash me. Funny, honest to a fault, and fearless. Thing is, everyone that saw that, besides her fans that do, would love her. He’s a beautiful young man, but he really had better step up his acting, being the Bonus Hemsworth isn’t something he can ride, forever. The thing with Liam’s career has yet to be seen, Gale (his character in The Hunger Games) becomes much much much more prominent in the next 3 movies in fact in the final two his character is more involved with the action than Josh Hutcherson’s for a large portion of the films. So really he’s got a lot headed his way…
However with the Miley stuff, listen I’m not all into slut shaming but damn girl there is a line between sexy/vulgar and she freaking took a running dive across it. I don’t know any man who would stay with their woman if she behaved that way.

Yeah, he’s no leading man yet but I do believe he takes his career seriously. He’s had a flop and he will have more flops, that’s just the nature of the industry. I’ve never seen any of the movies he was in, so I have no idea if he’s a good actor or not… but the Hemsworth brothers are getting a lot of attention in Hollywood right now so I’m sure he’ll have many more opportunities.

It’s a bad translation but you get the general idea. Looks like Liam has dumped Miley. If it’s true this is a big blow to her and she won’t want an announcement. The last thing she wants is being laughed at for being rejected – for good. She’ll put up a good front on Twitter but as insecure and immature as she is, she won’t take it well. With the majority being Team Liam after this mess, a PR campaign to trash Liam would backfire. Without solid proof of Liam cheating (Mini-Cooper pics level proof) Miley will look like a child-woman scorned. As for new guys in her life, Miley will have to suss them out; she’s going to have to wonder if the guy wants her for the publicity or thinks she’s a freak and she’ll give it up to ANYONE because of her VMA performance (and other ratchetness). I brought up “jungle fever” because the paps have proven they will stoop to real lows to get that money shot. When Rob pushed that security guard, one of the paps was yelling “R-f—-t” (derogatory term for gay) at him, just to get a rise. Rob & Kristen were ambushed at LAX, throwing the cheating scandal in both of their faces, even alleging she would pass another man’s seed as Rob—right in Rob’s face.

“For better or for worse” would be a part of the marriage vows which they have not given or received. I believe that an engagement used to carry with it the implicit idea that a wedding/marriage was planned or being planned to take place within a reasonable amount of time. An engagement now seems to mean, to many, that they might get married before they die…or not…you know, depending on how they come to feel about each other. Yeah “engagement”, in the words Inigo Montoya, “I do not think that means what you think means” 🙂

How do we know Liam disapproves of her behavior? Her ratcheting up things a notch (pun intended) and him STILL in the relationship seems to point to maybe there is another side to him we dont know about. Seems to me that someone who is hungry for anothers fame and is only there because of it, would revel in that person making themself look like an ass, he probably tells her its hot on one side of his mouth and laughs out the other side (the one he cheats with).

Miley’s fame and money are relics of a once-successful career she had as a child. In recent times she has had new music released, but before this album she had accomplished not a hell of a lot besides working out and getting a haircut. I don’t believe her name carries any weight in entertainment. Sure, she’s garnered fame and fortune, but she is neither respected nor acknowledged as influential within industry. If Liam has recieved any helping hand, it would clearly be due to his being Chris Hemsworth’s brother.
Relations to a multi-million dollar franchise action star trumps dating a former Disney actress, no?
In any case, during Miley’s Pilates and experimentation phase, Liam was cast in a handful of films. I believe had Liam not been cast in The Hunger Games, she would have slipped into obscurity altogether. Due to their engagement, she became somewhat synonymous with him.
I think distancing himself from her would only HELP his career.
She used to be annoying. Now she’s quite revolting, desperately trying to shock us. And what a pedigree! Minimally talented daughter of a one-hit wonder who parlayed a career out of a stupid song. And I’ve already seen quite enough of her tongue.

I really hate the constant contrasting between the innocence of teddy bears/balloons and her posing/acting like a seasoned wh*re. As if pedaphilia weren’t enough of an issue in this world.
So she says she sleeps only 45 minutes a night and people are impressed by this, and only eats to live. We see her acting outrageously nasty on a televised show that doesn’t seem normal. I’m convinced she’s on Adderal or some sort of speed. Nobody acts like that and doesn’t sleep or eat not under the influence of drugs.
I think Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber should just trade off. Because clearly Justin needs a wild girl. And Liam wants someone classy *hint hint* selena Gomez. Then everyone would be happy.
