You’ve got to hand it to In Touch for putting the screws to Kris Jenner on multiple covers. Remember all those “Kris is a Monster” covers earlier this year, gleaned from her late ex-husband’s diaries? Good times. Those covers much have sold well because they’re at it again.
In Touch’s previous anti-Kris stories came from by her ex husband’s widow. Now Kris’s little sister, Karen Houghton, is talking smack to In Touch. This is despite the fact that Kris gifted her sister with a car this year and $50,000 worth of furniture in 2009. I guess she expects more. She is Kris’s sister! The last and only other time I’ve heard about this woman, Star Magazine was reporting that she’d had relationships with at least two men who were convicted felons and drug addicts. It’s not like the Kardashian-Jenner family has any experience with that, right?
Here’s In Touch’s interview with Houghton, and she confirms the fact that Kris and Bruce Jenner are separated.
After decades of keeping the Kardashians’ secrets under wraps, Kris Jenner’s younger sister, Karen Houghton, is breaking her silence and revealing what really goes on behind the closed doors of her sister’s reality empire.
In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Karen reveals the truth behind Kris’ rocky relationship with Bruce Jenner: “[Kris and Bruce] are separated,” Karen confirms to In Touch, adding that he has “sought out a lawyer.” But despite their separation and frequent fights, Kris and Bruce “still do things together,” says Karen. “Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together.”
While Kris herself has admitted to cheating on her late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, and straying at the beginning of her relationship with Bruce when she slept with an ex, soccer player Todd Waterman, Karen says there are whispers of even more inappropriate behavior.
“I’ve heard she flirts with Scott [Disick, Kourtney’s boyfriend] and Lamar [Odom, Khloé’s husband] when she’s drunk,” says Karen.
But the whispers don’t end there. Before he was accused of murdering wife Nicole in June 1994, O.J. Simpson would get “flirty” with Kris at parties. Now O.J. — who’s in prison for unrelated crimes — “has been trying to contact Kris from jail,” Karen tells In Touch.
Karen, known as “Crazy Auntie K” to her famous nieces and nephew, “knows where all the bodies are buried. Her talking is Kris’ worst nightmare,” says an insider close to Kris. That may explain why Kris keeps her sister away from the reality cameras — but lavishes her with gifts.
“She sent down a Mercedes for Valentine’s Day. I went out front, and there was a big bow on it,” reveals Karen, a part-time nurse and single mom to daughter Natalie Zettel, 15. “She also furnished my whole house [in 2009]. A truck came down with $50,000 worth of furniture.”
Kris may be “generous and giving,” says Karen, but she’s also “crazy and controlling.”

This has got to annoy Kris. She’s dealing with Khloe’s marriage crisis (Lamar is telling TMZ he’s been sober a whole 5 days btw) and she doesn’t want the press to focus on her own dead marriage. I doubt that Kris is going to divorce Bruce, they probably have some sort of agreement for business purposes and are just avoiding each other in general. We’ve heard that Bruce consulted a divorce lawyer, but that was a while ago. I bet that Kris convinced him that he didn’t have to go that route, and since he’s followed her demand for over twenty years so far he of course acquiesced.
As for the news that Kris flirts with her daughter’s partners when she’s drunk – of course she does. Kris thinks she’s the hottest thing in the room no matter what.

Nothing PMK does surprises me. That woman is evil. I would love to see Bruce break free but it’s not going to happen. Then again a lot of marriages are “in name only” so it’s not all that uncommon.

I’ve always wondered what went through Robert Kardashians mind when the OJ verdict was read. His facial expression at that moment said a lot. More like sick to his stomach than exhilarated at the ‘win’.
My parents & grandparents followed that whole mess like a favorite sitcom, they were so invested in the outcome that my Mom even remembers it to this day (they were horrified by the verdict, of course). She said it was obvious Rob Kardashian couldn’t believe he was found innocent. She said it was pure shock.
A lot of people followed that trial, it was huge. It was ‘reality tv’ before there was such a thing. And yes, his expression was pure shock.
LOL … my Mom was glued to the TV for that trial. The only time she ever did that was for “Roots.” I will never forget Robert Kardashian’s expression; it was like, “Innocent? WTF?”
IMO Robert Kardashian was put on Simpson’s legal team so he wouldn’t be able to testify against him.
Nicolette & Fue McCormick – Mine were downright obsessive about it, too. My grandmother always had all the accompanying tabloids. (She adored reading those trash papers. I loved it, she’d keep them all in the living room in a decorative pot). I was only 8 then (in 94′- can’t believe it’s been so long) when the trial was going on.
I just knew he was a horrible person, then the whole ‘race’ thing blew up, which I was too young to understand (since I didn’t see what his skin color had to do with anything, if he was guilty). I was genuinely surprised (& still am) that no one actually killed him, as angry as some people were about the verdict.
@Fue – I didn’t know you could do that? Force someone to be on your legal team if they want no part of it? I know Rob & Kris were good friends with OJ & Nicole. From what I’ve read, it caused a rift in the marriage, because she couldn’t believe he could defend him, after being friends with Nicole. Kris wore 3 sets of maternity clothes Nicole had given her, every day she came to court.
I can remember calling my then-husband at work saying, “OJ’s on the lam!” and he was the first in his office to know it. This was very very early in internet days, so it wasn’t instant news like now.
Everything about this story, including Kris’ gifts to her sister, screams budget.

@Dawn – That is what causes me to feel torn, regarding Bruce. On 1 hand, I obviously feel sorry for the man for several reasons.
On the other, he saw what Kris did to her other daughters, knew she was doing the same w/his girls. It was his JOB to protect them, even if it meant Kris revealed something about him he didn’t want public (for example, if the cross-dressing thing was true), because protecting his children should’ve been more important, no matter what.
Which causes me to lose respect for him entirely, & have trouble feeling sympathy for him. He sat back & kept his mouth shut while she turned his little girls into prostitutes.
She won’t let even let him take the drivers seat on the jet ski… Poor Bruce 🙁

That last picture is a perfect analogy of their marriage. She’s in front, in”control”, egocentric, driven and poor hunched Bruce is just holding on, being taken on a ride.
I felt exactly the same way, as soon as I saw that picture. He never has *any* control over *anything* that happens. She’s beaten him down so much that he doesn’t even try anymore. =(

They should just own up to it. Lying about it publicly and acting like it’s fine is exhausting. Went through that with my kid’s dad two years ago and I was just miserable. And I say this just from person to person.
Now to the fact it’s a Kardashian: Guess the family that changes their faces together do not stay together. PMK must be upset that Bruce has a younger looking palate.

@Dommy – And like I said above, he did fail his daughters miserably. He may not have been in a position to help the older girls, but those were his daughters, & he knew what Kris was doing to them.
Does anyone else find it highly telling how she doesn’t even let him steer the jet ski??? He is probably one of the most emasculated husbands in history.
As a recovering addict (which obviously makes me an expert on everyone else’s addictions), it doesn’t seem very optimistic that Odom is doing this “5 days of sobriety” without any help, especially after a raving crack binge. I understand each person can approach sobriety their own way, but I’ve tried the so-called “self-healing” and I can say that it didn’t work for me.
Also, I find it doubtful that he’s sober. Usually, when one wants to be sober and is coming off a binge, the withdrawal symptoms are so severe that it’s pretty much agreed that one should go through “detox” at a rehab facility or a hospital, and that symptoms from hard drugs can last over a week. Honestly, if he’s been sober for 5 days, I doubt he’d be in a position to call up TMZ and speak about it – from what I’ve seen/heard, people detoxing around that long are still curled up in the fetal position, vomiting, tremoring, etc.
Good for him, if he has been sober that long though. I guess I’m just not that optimistic about his choices…
@Katy – I can’t speak from experience with a powerful ‘street drug’ like crack, but I’ve been addicted to a non-narcotic (even though it should be) pain relief drug for almost 10 years now.
After a few tries to quit (that resulted in a seizure, never had one before), I’ve realized that the withdrawal is just too Godawful & dangerous to do on my own. I can at least relate on that note, considering what a hellish experience it is, & how quickly it can destroy willpower. Unfortunately I’m still on it, & need to find somewhere that could help me detox.
But I really respect you for sharing your experience, & that you managed (it sounds like) to conquer your demons. =) I really do hope Lamar gets outside help, being around the Kardashians, I’m not surprised he needed to be high.

Bruce has quite a bit more money than Kris and that is why she doesn’t want to divorce, just separate. Bruce made a lot of money after the Olympics and has invested well. Everything they have made since they have been married is community property and split 50/50. She will keep him around until she finds someone else.
I actually find this sad even though I’m not surprised by it. They have been married a long time.
Bruce knows all of PMK’s & the whole Klan’s secrets….including those relating to the OJ Simpson case. He’s not going anywhere. He’s got PMK by the balls.
He may be blackmailing PMK (there’s no way PMK would want their real dirty laundry out there) but by golly that woman would make his life a daily Hell. Any lust these two had has well & truly gone.
Now that her sister has leaked this story, ROL now has one stating in 2012, Kris’ sister saw Lamar’s eyes rolling back in his head because of the drugs he was taking. Guess she had to pay the dues for dissing Kris J.
