Has anyone else noticed that Gwyneth Paltrow tends to jettison friends very quickly? Goop is like the mafia of elite, fat-shaming, anti-peasant bitches. When Gwyneth is “over” someone, they are dead to her. I just got this image in my head: Gwyneth as Michael Corleone, laying a big kiss on Beyonce-as-Fredo… “I know it was you, Beyonce. YOU BROKE MY HEART.” Anyway, it seems that when Gwyneth was working on Thanks For Sharing, she befriended a young woman who goes by “Pink” (Goop called her by her proper name, I’m sure: Alecia Beth Moore). Dame Goop decided to teach this young peasant-y “pop star” a thing or two about the world of “acting”. Pink was receptive at first, and all was well in the Goopdom. Except that when the film came out, everyone talked about how Pink made a stunning acting debut and no one mentioned how Dame Gwyneth is always perfect. This upset the Goopdom. So the Goop fought back:
PINK thought she’d found a new BFF in Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow – but when the big-screen newcomer got better reviews in their new movie, Gwyneth promptly pulled the plug on their budding friendship!
Now, insiders say, Gwyneth, 41, is trashing the 34-year-old rocker around TinselTown, and Pink is thumbing her nose at the “Shakespeare in Love” star.
“It started out fine,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “But now Pink and Gwyneth aren’t getting along.”
Pink made her big-screen debut playing a sex addict in “Thanks for Sharing,” a comedy about sex addiction which also stars Gwyneth, Tim Robbins, Josh Gad and Mark Ruffalo.
“Pink had no illusions about being an actress when she showed up on the first day of shooting,” the source said. “She knew she was working with seasoned pros and even joked that she just didn’t want to get in their way.”
Gwyneth took Pink under her wing and, according to the source, the two “really bonded.”
They stayed in contact after production wrapped, but Gwyneth began ignoring the singer’s calls and texts after reviewers singled out Pink as the movie’s standout. Things went downhill from there.
“It was obvious Gwyneth was jealous,” said the source. “She started telling people, ‘Why would I ever want to work with that dirty girl again? She’s so unpleasant and unkempt, I don’t even like being around her.’”
Pink was hurt when word got back to her, but the feisty rocker could get the last laugh.
“She’s going to write a song about a phony friend with two faces,” the source revealed. “And she’s using Gwyneth for inspiration.”
“Why would I ever want to work with that dirty girl again? She’s so unpleasant and unkempt, I don’t even like being around her.” Part of me thinks that Gwyneth would never shade like that, that her attack would be more subtle. Another part of me thinks that Gwyneth is exactly like this, especially since I can hear Gwyneth’s nasal, annoying voice saying those words in my head. Anyway, Gwyneth has bigger problems these days (like damage control on the Vanity Fair story), so let’s not waste too much energy defending Pink. Pink can take care of herself. And if Pink wants to take Goop down a peg, that’s how it’s going to happen.

They were both great in that movie BTW, along with Mark Ruffalo and Josh Gad. Tim Robbins was a bit meh, IMHO.

With both Goop and Jennifer–I think it’s just because they don’t do anything different with their hair in films too. Goop always has a stupid center part in her hair–I think maybe a few times she had it curly, but all the pics I’ve seen of her recently and from the 90’s has her wearing the same hairstyle–either long or short.
And Jennifer’s hair is always the same in her films and life—what’s notable about her next film, the Squirrels to nuts (I think??) one, is that she wears a short curled wig–which I think looks really good on her.
She looked really good with that bob that she had during the promotion of Just Go With It–don’t get why she didn’t keep it.

I saw Pink’s concert just a few weeks ago, and she is AMAZING! Really, my jaw was on the floor. She is this crazy mix of vocalist and acrobat. Loved it!
I’m sooo jealous! I’ve watched several videos of her singing live before on youtube and she’s awesome. I would love to see her in concert.

No one’s been ‘raving’ about Pink’s performance, the reviewers that actually talked about her role have just made a point of saying she doesn’t embarrass herself, that she handles the role fine, that it’s more of a Justin Timberlake in the Social Network situation than a Britney in Crossroads situation. She’s perfectly adequate. It’s not like she’s soaking up a ton of glory while Gwyneth got pushed aside, lot’s of people didn’t even realise Pink was in the film.
So for that reason I doubt this is at all true.
Most of Gwyneth’s friends are as successful or more successful than her. She doesn’t dump people when they’re on top, she dumps them when they’re on the way down. She got rid of Madonna just before she started to get really embarrassing, she got rid of Winona before she nose-dived…if Pink was a revelation in this film Gwyneth would be sucking up not sulking.

I read a few reviews back when this was at TIFF that were noting Pink’s performance as a stand out.

The surprising part is so many of the negative comments of La Paltrow are written by those who know her, work for her, and entertainment community. Trust mean, folks far more “A” list don’t like her anymore than then “plebs”. And FYI, the rag mags although sometimes totally BS are on the mark far more than celebs want you to know and people think. In this overly litigious time and so many people out to protect them (for money) the “trashy” just for fun, not true blah blah of couple decades ago are much more true than they used to be.

I have always liked Pink. She moved me tremendously when she and her husband experienced difficulties and appeared on the verge of ending their relationship and worked through to the other side. It took time as I recall. I don’t recall the whys, but it struck a chord that two high profile and talented in each of their arts genuinely put the work in on their relationship. Their child seems so happy and loved and they seem to be a very happy family.
I like her for that same reason. I also liked her recent quote regarding Miley. It was very good advice.
Pink looks clean and well-kempt, and that red lipstick is harsh and aging on Goop’s non-lips.

This is the biggest reason I and my friends have loathed Gwyneth for so long so much. This is totally her MO. She does it to everyone, I think I said here she did it with Faith Hill, Scarlett Johanson and countless others (and not just Winona)and it is sickening and cruel the way she gets in their heads and makes them insecure!
Know nothing about Pink but she is so talented, her music I have loved for years, so sure she can do anything she wants. Yep, that’s the really tragic part, and that Chris was so young and is so proper his life is miserable except when he is with her. Kids real concern. But yeah the Coldplay thing is hard….God if Chris would just man up and find a real woman for him like he wants, maybe it will go away. Used to love them…and Chris is sweet.

This is an easy story to believe. Pink is frickin awesome. She’s authentic, intelligent, and talented. Gwyneth has reason to be jealous. Better people would be gracious, but Goopy being who she is & egos being what they are, jealousy is the only way to go for her.

Pink has more substance, charisma, charm and talent in her left pinky then GOOP could ever hope to have in a lifetime. She wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth and NEPOTISM didn’t get her where she is today in her career. Taking knocks and persevering did.
Every story about GP makes you despise her more than the last. I knew a girl like her once. I believe she’s like this because I know “commoners” who behave like this who have 1/1000 of the money and clout. Mean, entitled girls just exist.
