Doesn’t Princess Madeleine of Sweden look beautiful in these photos? She’s always been considered “the hot princess” of Sweden, although I prefer her older sister Victoria in general. Madeleine used to be a blonde, but she’s been going darker as she gets older. I’m a big fan. But after seeing these photos, I think I want Maddy to cut her hair to something shoulder-length. It will make her look lighter, fresher, cuter.

Anyway, Maddy is pregnant although you wouldn’t know that from the photos. She’s about four or five months along, depending on which source you’re going with. Allegedly, this is a honeymoon baby. Maddy says as much in this interview, saying that her pregnancy happened “a little fast and very suddenly. It’s better that way than to plan everything in advance and find that nothing happens.” It should be noted that Madeleine is still working full time at the World Childhood Foundation in NYC and she says that she has no plans to pull back her schedule during her pregnancy. She also says she’s reading What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

Many of the Swedish tabloids are claiming that Madeleine and her husband Christopher have already found out the gender of the baby… and that they’re expecting a little girl! Which would be very cool. Victoria’s first child was a girl too, Princess Estelle, who is the most adorably serious baby you’ve ever seen.
