SO MUCH. So much is coming out of the neverending “hacking trial” in London. The trial is all about the News of the World and how they regularly hacked into the voicemails of celebrities, royals, whoever they wanted to report on, and now a bunch of people will probably (maybe?) be going to jail and I’m sure there will be more repercussions to come. But a weird side-effect of the hacking trial is that several celebrities have had to take the stand and admit that they were bangin’ people and leaving lovely-dovey voice messages to their side-pieces.
To recap: so far, Jude Law testified that he called Daniel Craig in 2005 to bitch Craig out for his affair with Sienna Miller. Jude told Daniel to tell all to Daniel’s girlfriend at the time, Satsuki Mitchell. One of the NOTW hackers also testified that Sienna had left a “I love you” message on Daniel’s voicemail. So, what’s new? SO MUCH.
*Sienna is working in New Orleans right now (working with Ryan Reynolds), so she testified via videolink. She confirmed that she and Daniel were “friends” and that it was “likely” she had left him a message saying she loved him. She said that she tells all of her friends that she loves them and it’s no big deal. But she did confirm that she and Daniel had been in “a very brief encounter” and “for a long period of time, he was one of my closest friends. That’s how I ended all my calls to my friends.”
*A former NOTW journalist claims that when Jude Law found out that the NOTW had gotten their hands on the Sienna-Daniel story, he traded some info with them so they would make it sound like Sienna’s affair with Daniel predated his (Jude’s) affair with the nanny. Such a gentleman.
*The NOTW were knee-deep in sources waiting to confirm details about Daniel and Sienna’s affair. The sources still remain unnamed within the trial, so the trial heard about these sources telling the NOTW that Sienna and Daniel were holed up in a house in Notting Hill, and when paparazzi descended, Daniel drove off and Sienna hid behind the door. One source also claimed that Sienna “kept Jude dangling while going onto her next victim.” One source claimed Sienna was “clingy” and “like a stalker” and she would call Jude and Daniel “several times an hour.”
*As for Daniel Craig, in 2004, it was widely reported that he and Kate Moss had briefly dated. This was – I believe – before he met Satsuki Mitchell and before Kate got with Pete Doherty. In 2004, Daniel was Mr. Artsy Independent Film Dude and Kate was still one of the biggest supermodels in the world, so it sort of made sense. Neither Daniel nor Kate ever confirmed that they had dated, but a former Daily Mirror journo said he hacked into a message that Daniel left for Kate in which Daniel said, “I love you, I love you, I love you.” I mean… it’s interesting as a confirmation that they dated a decade ago, but as far as I know, they were both single at the time, so it’s really not that scandalous.

If that’s true about Daniel & Kate, I can’t, for the life of me, understand why she would move on from him to Pete Doherty. That’s quite a downgrade.
” ….for the life of me, understand why she would move on from him to Pete Doherty…..”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe it was for all the blow, she got to do with Pete.
Daniel Craig does not strike me as a big ole coke head. So he must have been boring for Kate.
I recall hearing that Craig broke up with her because of her partying.
Kate Moss is a groupie muse period 70’s.She’s fascinated by Brigitte Bardot,Marianne Faithful or other Rolling Stone’s muse
spot-on.
OOOoohhhhh, this is some juicy gossip that i can so sink my teeth into.
Its been a long time.
Fake ‘Kardashian / Housewives drama’ does NOT sustain.
I need real food.
@Don’t Kill Me I’m French, who wrote: “Kate Moss is a groupie muse period 70′s.She’s fascinated by Brigitte Bardot,Marianne Faithful or other Rolling Stone’s muse”
For some reason, if this is how you meant it, more and more things/events/people/trends/fashion that were big in the 1960’s are being eroneously moved/attributed to the 1970’s.
Brigitte Bardot and Marianne Faithful–as the It Girls/groupie/Muses you describe them as–were very much 1960’s. Here is an interesting “Telegraph” article by Marianne Faithful about the 60’s that you might find interesting, titled “Marianne Faithful: It wasn’t Just Mick Jagger Who Couldn’t Get Satisfaction:”
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/sex/10296390/Marianne-Faithfull-It-wasnt-just-Mick-Jagger-who-couldnt-get-satisfaction.html
I’ve got no idea what attracted her to Pete (except for the drugs obviously) but it seems to me Daniel Craig is a cheating asshole, so it’s not like she missed out on much there..
Plus at the time, Daniel wasn’t a huge star – certainly much less famous than Kate – so there would have been no glamour factor for her dating him.
Ice Maiden: Daniel Craig circa 2004 had serious indie cred. He wasn’t a mainstream star, but he was a darling of the indie scene.
Kate Moss is always about what is cool and IT as opposed to mainstream with exception of her fascination with the stars of the 60s, but when you think about it, those 60s stars were cool and IT as opposed to being mainstream. Time and good PR has made them mainstream. The beatles were the mainstream in the 60s whilst the rolling Stones were the cool alternative. Kate Moss identifies with the cool alternative.
Pete Doherty is a mess these days, but for a nano minute back then, he was absolutely IT.
I could get passed Sienna but seriously Kate Moss, Daniel? That woman reeks of cocaine and stds. Nasty.
All I have to say is this–Daniel Craig is a ‘ho of the highest order. God–people are talking about Sienna getting around? Does he leave ANY gap, no matter how small between any of his current and future girlfriends? I hope age has settled him–I don’t believe in ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’, but damn, Rachel……
Don’t worry. Rachel’s a cheater, too.
@ Lisa Probably. Though this tends to get airbrushed out of all the glowing praise she gets on this page. I know it’s widely rumoured that Aronofsky had cheated on her multiple times, which may be a mitigating factor IF true (which we don’t know). But I always find it interesting to note who gets endless criticism for cheating, and who just gets a ‘meh’.
Rachel is also on record as saying how much it touched her that Daniel wanted to marry her and that he did indeed marry her (rather than just talking about it). She said outright that no man had ever cared to marry her and that was something that hurt her for many years until Daniel came along. I am sure this has a lot to do with her devotion to him. He quite literally fulfilled her dream. She might be willing to turn a blind eye to some of the stuff she knew about him (his track record and so on) because of that.
It’s a bit sad that a gorgeous Oscar winning actress should be so desperate for a man to marry her. Does she think having a ring on her finger is a guarantee of a lasting relationship? She must be very naive if so, given that marriages involving celebs fail more often than not.
I agree that Daniel shouldn’t be trusted, even if the person with him is as beautiful, talented, and successful as Rachel Weisz. I’m surprised she married him. Daniel is the kind of ugly yet animalistic douche a woman could understandably sleep with if she is looking for a fling. He’s not the marrying type. I think there must have been insane sparks between the two and a lot is passion between the sheets for Daniel to dump his long term fiancé (even through he had been cheating on her with side pieces probably throughout their relationship) and for Rachel to ignore her better judgment and try to establish a long term partnership with a guy like him. I’m waiting for the eventual divorce. Maybe it won’t be until ten years from now, but it will happen. Can’t see those two staying together into old age.
I know people always joke that someone’s post made them burst out laughing or spit coffee all over their computer screen, but I just had to say that your flippantly yet assertively referring to Craig as a kind of ugly yet animalistic douche has had me laughing for the past twenty minutes. Thank you.
Yes! Everyone keeps talking about Sienna but conveniently leaving out what a ho (not my favorite word, but…) Craig is.
So why do you not talk about Jude? He’s the SUPER ho! He asked the journalist to “back-date” the affair so it would appear that Sienna cheated on him first before he had his fling with Daisy Wright (his children’s nanny) in 2005. Of course, not that Sienna was a innocent. Jude cheated on his ex-wife Sadie with Sienna. Ha!
Like you said, they obviously both got around. Much often you like a celebrity until you find out what assholes they are. Sienna was just always very obvious about it and it doesn’t help that she’s a drama queen.
Agreed!
Oh, those crazy kids.
Oh, Sienna… You can’t control your coochie! And I love you for that!
Daniel Craig seems like a jerk. There, I said it.
Yeah, he really does, specially during interviews. But I’d hit it. HARD!!!
Make sure he wears a condom 🙂
LOL yup….. !
Yeah, I think he’d be a good fling, but I don’t know if I’d want to marry him especially in light of all these stories about him recently.
Everyone I know personally who’s encountered him in NYC says he’s a complete gentleman & very, very down to earth & nice.
Before I go read this, does Daniel come off as a douche? I am always developing true love for these men and they so often disappoint me. It’s exhausting, don’t you know. So be kind and warn me first.
Good Names All Taken
I’m with you on this – so disappointing to find out over and over again that I’ve given my heart to a douche. So in the name of sisterhood – be warned before you read this. Daniel comes off like a man-wh*re in this piece. What a shame. If he starts cheating on Rachel too I’ll have to start boycotting his movies. And no, don’t tell me she’s a cheating ‘ho too – my heart can’t take it!!
He’s grumpy and not too fond of the famey aspects that come with acting success, which can make him come across as a bit of a wanker.
A couple of good looking people that sex with each other 10 years ago. So what.
I just can’t stand the idea that their privacy was breached and that Murdoch will never see the inside of a jail cell. Or Clapper, in this country, for that matter.
+1.
Really, they all made mistakes 10 years ago. So what. Everybody fails sometimes. What i actually appreciate about these people is that they kept their shit to themselves and spared us the stink. It angries me that everything is coming out now because of this trial, because of the criminal practices of those “journalists” who were unlawfully breaching their privacy. As for the main characters in this charade, it is not as if these news make a huge impact in the image we the public already had of them. Plus, they have all moved on. Maybe they are different now. I hope so, though it’s none of my business.
Ditto, it seemed interesting at first, but now that’s going too far. It’s unnecessary to tell the wider publicity about the contents of the email he sent his girl Kate (they were both single at the time).
It turns court hearing into a circus show. Just gross!
Meh, I heard about the Sienna/Daniel ‘I love you’ thing years ago. I guess someone paid a lot to bury that story.
So Daniel is a proven cheater. not once but several times.
wonder if there will be a call to boycott his movies. Wonder if the tabloids will cover this for years to come. I wonder if Rachel will be attacked in the press for years to come. I mean the tabloids got tired of talking about Sienna Miller.
nope won’t be holding my breathe. Nor will I wait for the Moral Police to go on a tangent for years and years and years and years..
I see what you did there 😉
They should–now they can come up with stories about how Rachel and Sienna hate each other–how Sienna wants to claw Rachel’s eyes out, etc…..Maybe start up some paternity rumors….
Daniel isn’t a “regular” cheater for me. He hooked up with Heike Makatsch, Kate Moss, Satsuki Mitchell, and Rachel Weisz (his wife). As far as I know, he didn’t betray his GF, except Satsuki. She believed that she could marry him for 5 years, so I feel sorry for her. But it happens.
It bugs me that in an affair of any sort, the woman is usually the first to be scandalized and called the ho. Glad that at least here, people understand Craig is just as much a ho, whether he was cheating himself or not.
Second, I forget how really beautiful Sienna is.
Am I the only one that thinks Rachel’s son looks like Ralph Fiennes, it’s the blue eyes!
lol, you wish (as do I actually, Constant Gardener <3 )
to be honest, i cant wait for more news in this trail and i dont mean jude law, daniel and sienna.
we know now enough about them i guess.
now i want to know more about other celebs ha! im bad i know
10 years ago?! They all were unmarried. NEXT!!!!
I agree with you it has been 10 years and we should move on. But not the setence about that they all weren’t married. Cheating is cheating – it doesn’t matter if one of both of them were married or none of them were married – it still counts as cheating.
I think we women come down on women cheaters because we’re suppose to have a sisterhood with one another and for women to sleep with boyfriends and husbands is an act of betrayal.
We are suppose to be nurturing, caring and sensitive towards our sisters and not act like men.
Which is bullsh*t. I mean I think you are largely correct but it’s bull. Women do not have to be in a “sisterhood” when it comes to condoning inappropriate behavior (male or female). We definitely shouldn’t excuse men or minimize their hurtful acts because they are just being “men” and can’t control their wandering dongs.
I think women come down on women cheaters because they’re in denial about their men and can’t accept the fact that their men don’t love them anymore.
If only that “hussy” didn’t lure and tempt my innocent darling away, he’d never betray me like that! It’s all her fault, he was confused and manipulated!
LOL
that is true but it also counts for men. you know the “brotherhood”? men are quite good at giving each other jobs but when it comes to women only the best show true loyalty to their friends. as offensive “broes before hoes” sounds, the underlying idea is good. that you should not risk your friendship for someone of the opposite gender.
in this case Jude and Daniel were friends, he also shouldnt have went there even if a beautiful woman like Sienna was all over him. that they were friends made it even worse. (not that Jude is innocent but it doesnt make it right)
we expect men to possess honor and loyalty but as many women arent caring and sensitive so arent many men honorable and loyal.
its obviously full of gender stereotypes but we all have them to some degree. it always comes down to the person. there are decent people and there are indecent people.
Gosh, I still remember Daniel was dating Kate Moss for 3 or 4 months. Ya, it was a short-term relationship. It was destructive love which was an active process of destroying the affection and tenderness between them, they were unable to function properly. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel whispered to Kate, “I love you, I love you, I love you.”.
He kissed her passionately anyway!
http://estaticos.telva.com/albumes/2014/01/15/kate_moss_todas_sus_parejas/2015328903_extras_albumes_0.jpg
i think the moral of the story is that everyone sleeps/cheats with everyone. :-/ Or at least, cheaters marry other cheaters and thus cheating occurs.
Oh God, it just got better, I love it, such juicy trash.
So all in all, a bunch of gorgeous looking people are exactly the opposite on the inside, shocker.
I guess you can get away with anything as long as you’re really hot.
How they look and how much fame and money that have doesn’t even register for me. People who are poor and ugly behave badly, too. No, it’s not about looks and privilege. Instead, the thing that gets me and really makes me feel disgusted is how the whole sordid business of sex among this set is so “tribal”. They all screw each other! None of them seems capable of independent relationships. They just screw the people they know — their friends, their friends’ lovers, their lovers’ lovers, their relatives friends/lovers/whatever, their colleagues, their bosses, their acquaintances sons and daughters, their colleagues’ friends’ lovers’ cousins. You get what I mean. It’s just an endless cycle of vaginas and penises that all eventually meet — sometimes more than once — and repeat the cycle with slight variations here and there. Repulsive. Get your own lover!! One who isn’t among your tribe, one who has never worked with you, one who hasn’t already been in a relationship with someone you know. A kindergarten teacher from Kansas, for God’s sake!
But so what? I wouldn’t want to live that way, but not everyone is like me. They found a group of people who wanted the same lifestyle and they lived the way they wanted. There were hurt feelings, but that happens even in traditional committed relationships. And I certainly don’t think they should seek out kindergarten teachers from Kansas, because they would never be happy with someone so “square.”
They’re cheaters and liars. “So somebody got hurt and that’s just how it goes” is not a philosophy I embrace.
The Kansas kindergarten teacher bit was obviously a sarcastic joke on my part.
I think it is mostly due to the reserved British stereotype, when in reality we’re massive slags.
speak for yourself…
For me, by far the worst revelation (assuming it’s true, which maybe I shouldn’t) is that Jude Law – who poses as a victim of the tabloids – made a deal to talk to a tabloid hack in return for having him ‘pre-date’ Sienna’s cheating, in order to make himself look less obnoxious. That’s low. I mean, we all know these people cheat on each other without batting an eyelid, but to do a deal like this with the same tabloids you claim are victiminising you? Low.
Right! The SAME Jude who felt betrayed when a family member sold him out.
Yeah – I mean, if the NOTW told me today was Sunday, I’d feel obliged to check the calender – that’s how untrustworthy they are. But I’m inclined to believe this about Jude. The more I learn about these people, the more I think they are all completely immoral and self-centered.
That he made a deal with the tabloids in the first place to cover himself makes me wonder just how much other information they got from ‘insiders’ in that circle of people. Did he do it out of panic to save his public image or did they all do this to play ‘pay back’ get favours, better coverage etc? Just how far can they play the ‘victim’ card before it transpires that very many of them played the publicity game and are just being completely hypocritical? Just a thought that does not in anyway excuse phone hacking…
How f**king awful to have the sordid details of the stupid decisions of your personal life dredged up and put on public display word-for-word, especially years later.
[…and then the judgements come…]
I feel a little bad for Sienna. Not only was she called names for years over her behavior while the men just advanced in their careers, but now that she’s settled down with a husband and child she’s having to relive all this. I believe in people changing and I feel a little bad for her. Unfortunately, we have to be responsible and accountable for all our actions especially when they hurt other people — even years later we might have to answer for something embarrassing.
+1000000000000000000000000000000000000
uh…. Balthazar Ghetty anyone?
Curious how Sienna will adapt when some chicklet comes along to impose into HER happy little family.
(ya, it takes two, i get it)
@Stinky
My point is that Sienna was (rightfully) scorned in the press and court of public opinion while the men were either not scorned or their actions remained hidden/protected until now. She did things that are, in my book, immoral. But now that she’s settled down she has to relive all that stuff and here we are calling her a dirtbag all over again. I just feel a little bad for her in a way that I don’t feel bad about the others.That was my only point.
Aren’t we missing the point of the hacking trial? The News of the World journos were WRONG to hack the phones of these celebrities and obtain personal details that nobody had any right to know. So now we splash those details out onto gossip websites and dish about what’s been revealed? It’s almost like the gossip blogs (not just CB, but all of them) are celebrating the actions of those crooked journalists and condoning it happening again, because hey, it gives us good gossip. The real point is, what they did was unethical and a symptom of what’s wrong with the world, that the media is willing to go to such extremes to feed the public’s incessant need for gossip. It’s pretty gross really. DISCLAIMER: I’m not saying all entertainment gossip is wrong. By all means, talk about what some celeb said in an actual interview, or wore at an event, or what they did while out in public. But hacking into people’s private lives is wrong.
@ Bette
I appreciate your commitment to the ethics of this case. I do feel a twinge of guilt. And I agree that what NOTW did was really, really wrong. On the other hand, these celebrities are just vile. It’s hard for me to feel too sorry for them (I know, this is not the exact point you were making, and in fact it’s two separate issues) when they make a living off the public’s love of movies, and then use the fame and fortune that comes with that to use, abuse, sneak, hide, lie, and manipulate. It’s hard for me to feel sympathy for their dirty laundry being aired. I’ve lived 40 years on this earth and although I’m not perfect, I do strive to do right by my fellow human beings and all living creatures. I’ve never done some of the things these clowns have done. I’ve never cheated on a lover, I’ve never had an affair with a married man, I’ve never cheated with my best friend’s partner. Screw these dysfunctional ingrates if they feel embarrassed by the lies coming out.
“On the other hand, these celebrities are just vile. It’s hard for me to feel too sorry for them”
Fair enough, but as vile and privileged as some celebrities may be, I think Rupert Murdoch and his media empire is even more vile. His publications were using these illegal means to obtain dirt on celebrities in hopes of publicly humiliating them for profit. Murdoch practically controls the world with his wealth and power, which is a lot more insidious than the power of random celebs like Sienna Miller … it’s just less visible to the average person on a daily basis. Personally I’d rather see Murdoch and corrupt journalists be taken down than see a bunch of (silly, vain, but essentially harmless) actors be taken down for having affairs and whatnot. One is much worse than the other!
That’s how the tabloids got away with it for so long, nobody cared if some actor or footballer was caught playing away, but when it came out their modus operandi caused the parents of a murdered teenager to believe she was still alive by deleting her voice mails, and misdirected the police investigation, then people started to say, ‘well actually, that’s wrong’. One leads to the other.
You’re right @Bob and @Bette, that’s a huge duplicity at work and it’s wrong on all fronts.
i too appreciate the comment… for sure.
though i dont necessarily think gossip & ethics go together.
journalism & ethics? YES
gossip & ethics? NO
this particular trove of trash is golden & im lapping it up.
Gossip and ethics go together. When false gossip can ruin lives, oh you bet it does. Just last night I watched a Mads Mikkelson movie called The Hunt about this very thing. He’s a kindergarten teacher who gets accused of sexually assaulting a 6 year old girl all because the girl made up a story she got from a nude picture her brother showed her as a joke. She accused the teacher of “showing me his penis” because she had a little crush on him and was mad he paid more attention to the other children one day. Then a wacko teacher went overboard and spread the gossip around but added her own false details like “he’s obviously done this with many other children” and “the children described his basement and couch and curtains in precise detail”, even though the man didn’t even have a basement. By the time the truth came out his life was nearly ruined. Gossip and ethics go together.
“journalism & ethics? YES
gossip & ethics? NO”
But the gossip at hand in this post was obtained by “journalists” who lack ethics, so it’s all kind of mixing together at this point. I’m not objecting to the general public having opinions/speculating on the lives of celebrities, but I do object to people in the media using illegal means to obtain dirt on celebrities. If they can do it to celebs, they could do it to anyone. It’s the principle of it, to me. There’s nothing unethical about you or me gossiping, in terms of going “Oh, I bet Sienna Miller cheated on Jude Law” (or whatever) but someone actually HACKING HER PHONE to find this out is another matter. The former is gossip, the latter is illegal, unethical stalking in the guise of journalism. I know a lot of people think that just because actors are paid a lot of money and are in the public eye, they lose all rights to privacy, but I don’t subscribe to that belief myself. Everyone deserves a private life.
For the record, I don’t believe that celebrities should have their rights and privacy violated because they are “privileged” and somehow “deserve it” or because it feels good for the “little guy” to experience a bit of Schadenfreude at the upper class’s expense. I do deeply believe what the “journalists” did to them is wrong. It’s just that I think that it’s a bit hard to feel bad for people who regularly engage in a lifestyle of cheating and lying and manipulating. I do realize these are two different issues — feeling anger over the violation of these people, but at the same time not really giving a damn if they feel exposed and embarrassed.
My goodness, talk about musical beds! This reminds me of the lovely 60’s and free love and all that, it was a hit and run time, much fun, but glad all that’s over. Apparently I was wrong, its still happening.
absolutely. As others have said, give me this real drama rather than fake Kartrashian manufactured krap!
Bah humbug. So these hot Primrose Hill spunks were all banging each other? *yawn*
Huh, I wonder if these circumstances had anything to do with Sienna Miller attempting to morph into Kate Moss 2.0 during her peak? The whole boho-chic off of 2005-2006? Was Miller Leeann-Rimesing Moss?? I bet my faux fur gilet and too many vintage bangles worn all at once on it…
Sweet jesus, I remember how bl00dy popular fur gilets were at that time. I could never find a decent knock-off one.
I hated them at the time because I’d just started art college and they were, like, soooooooo mainstream but I tell ya I’d wear a good one now!
Me too!
Juicy stuff indeed. Sienna Miller was lucky to have England’s hottest hotties in her bed at the same time… As for Kate Moss dating Pete Doherty after dating Daniel Craig, well back in the day Pete was quite good looking and somehow managed to hide his lack of personal hygiene.
Honestly, I just want to hear what they’ve got on the royal family. Specifically, Harry.
NAKED PICTURES! (well, we already saw the ones in Vegas)
The only comment I have to make is about Daniel Craig’s suits. That blue (gray?) suit he’s wearing in pic 2 looks to be off the rack, like he shopped at the Men’s Warehouse. Compare that to the custom made suit in the pic with Satsuki Mitchell. What a difference good tailoring makes. That’s all I got other than to agree he’s a first class ho.
Good tailoring and James Bond Cash!
We talk about women having make overs, but boy, look at the make over he had. That second pic was taken when he was announced as the new James Bond, before the make over, style,body,clothes. People were genuinely shocked at the transformation.
