Here are some photos of James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman in London at an unveiling of… let me get this right… an “X-MEN themed pendolino Virgin train at Euston Station to celebrate the release of of X-MEN: Days of Future Past.” Sure. X-Men: Days of Future Past has lots of product tie-ins, and you’ve probably already seen some of the commercials. Have you seen the Hardee’s ads with Mystique? Days of Future Past isn’t even out until May 23rd, so we’ve got two months of promotional stops like this ahead of us. And personally, I can’t wait.
That’s one good thing about having such an enormous ensemble – different mutants can do different parts of the promotional tour. I mean, the “leads” this time around include Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page and James McAvoy. There will be lots of combinations there-in and we’re going to have some fun with it.
Incidentally, I took my mom to X-Men: First Class in the theaters, and she LOVED it. I expected her to enjoy it, but I wasn’t expecting her to become, like, loonie for all things X-Men (she bought the box set of the first three films). I asked her last night if she wanted to see the new one and before I had even finished asking, she was like “YES WE ARE SEEING THAT ON OPENING WEEKEND.”
Anyway, James and Hugh are looking very good here. I think CB is more into Hugh, and she really likes his greying, short beard here. He is aging really well, isn’t he? He’s 45 years old. Now, as for James… lord, he’s cute. THOSE EYES. So… who would I rather? James. But that’s no slam on Hugh – Hugh’s looking very good here, I’m just more into McAvoy.

McAvoy, always McAvoy.
Totally.
Me too.
I’d like Hugh more as an uncle.
Is it wrong for me to say neither? You ladies can have them! Now Eric Bana on the other hand…
Count me in. Eric Bana always. These two not so much.
I’ll just add Eric into the Hugh and James mix.
😀
Ditto.
Yupp. Mcavoy does something to me. I adore him
+100000000000000000000000000000000000
I’m not feeling Hugh’s weird Vandyke beard thingie but still…HughHughHughHugh! I have nothing against James McAvoy but he’s never done it for me.
Ummmmmmmm…….
Why must you pick one or another? What about both???
(Not at the same time though)
Totally both. And maybe at the same time. Sorry, i’m feeling a little crass today 😉
Hehe
Different strokes for different folks, eh?
😉
I can’t possibly choose. Hugh because he’s taller? The Mac because he’s better at swearing? A forced choice might be the end of me.
Both is my answer. I refuse to choose only one.
Don’t make me choose! Don’t make me choose!
I won’t damn it, I won’t do it!
I love everything about both these men.
But ok, McAvoy.
Wait, Hugh. No, McAvoy .
My head in going to explode.
But ok, McAvoy…
Honestly darling, just slip me in between those two – I will take it from there.
@ Jane Eyre
Damn girl! Get it! We can have it all!
That is my mantra, darling.
Yep, I wouldn’t mind being sandwiched between those two either. But yeah, McAvoy, always McAvoy.
Can’t I have both? Depending on how I’m feeling?
Sometimes you want burly steak, sometimes you want a HOT pocket!
They are both gorgeous and seem to get along so well!! Adorable.
Seriously, that’s not a fair choice, but because of I trying to wean myself lusting after men younger than me. I am going to choose Hugh… scrumptious all-alpha male.
Hugh is the friends dad that wants to be the cool friend to everyone. So sadly I can’t go there. It would be neither for me.
Yes….wait what was the question? 😉
I miss those times when McAvoy promoted “First class” with Fassy, that was GOLD, there were so much chemistry! Hugh is nice, but he’s not cool enough.
McAvoy looks like a little boy to me, so I’m going to go with Hugh.
This is the perfect time for the “Why not both?” gif.
DON’T MAKE ME CHOOSE you can’t make me choose.
I love tall men.. Though I’m petite. Hugh gets rid of the beard.. I could shave it for him, call it foreplay (can I write that ?). 😉 lol I’d say Hugh!! Granted it’s just a fun fantasy I have my own 6’+ hunk at home:).
JACKMAN
James of course! That man is perfection.
McAvoy anytime, anyplace.
I will not choose and you cannot make me.
You know why I love them (besides being gorgeous and talented?) They’re both so NICE. Like, there has never been a bad word said about either of them. Everyone seems to love them. That’s sexy to me! (ok, Hugh’s muscles and James’ baby blues are also sexy to me)
Hugh, pants down!
Based on looks probably neither. I mean, Hugh Jackman was divine in some movies (Australia “shower” scene, anyone?), but outside of his roles he is just not that sexy for me. Hm… And James McAvoy looks rather average, I think.
HOWEVER, I really like McAvoy. I’ve only seen him in interviews with Fassy tbh but he is very funny, laid back, charming and got a mean Scottish accent. I think he wins your heart with much more than just looking sexy.
So I’ll take McAvoy. (Plus, I have a real weakness for ginger beards, sorry.)
