TGIF! Thank God It’s Falcor. I have a couple little gems for you today, but I’m also kind of mad at all of you Budget Triangle of Doom people – apparently, there was leaked footage or some kind of VH1 trailer that was released late Wednesday/early Thursday and no one sent it to me. If you want me to cover something, just email me or tweet me! Because the VH1 thing got pulled after a few hours and I would have loved to have seen it. According to E! News, it was a:
“3-minute clip (which has since vanished from the web) showing LeAnn and Eddie mocking Brandi and discussing the tabloid report about their $50 million divorce. Rimes gets bothered by Cibrian after he states that he will not answer questions about the rumor on the red carpet at his movie premiere, and instead just tells Rimes ‘don’t let it bother you so much.’”
When asked by E! News about the clip and whether it had been taken down, the network told us a clip was never released.
Quite the Jedi mind trick, VH1. *waves hands* These are not the famewhores you are looking for. We never released a clip. That clip never existed.

“Her iPhone had its own stool onstage,” griped an eyewitness. “That’s how important it was to her.” Also paramount was keeping tabs on hubby Eddie Cibrian. “She asked the crowd, ‘Where’s my husband? I can’t find him!’” said one audience member, who added that not only was LeAnn 30 minutes late to the stage, but she couldn’t remember her own lyrics!
“She used sheet music for her old songs – she didn’t even sing the newer stuff from her last CD, Spitfire,” said the annoyed fan. “People deserve better. LeAnn should be ashamed of herself.”

Yeah… people do deserve better, but I’m also not going to feel too sorry for people who made the conscious choice to see a LeAnn Rimes show at the Orleans casino, you know? You had to buy a ticket. It is hilarious that the network is claiming no knowledge of the clip. I had the privilege(???) of seeing it, and it could have its own post for us to parse. And it was on the network’s site, btw — but not for long, just like the other clips that quickly disappeared.
I think the network is f’ing with us. They put out the videos just long enough to get people stirred up, then pull it to keep people talking. The network doesn’t care if people hate this couple as long as they keep talking about them and hopefully watch the show. I think it is their strategy and they will do whatever it takes to keep tweeter and cheater in the tabloids. None of them have any shame about what liars and pathetic A-holes they are as long as it will make them $$$$. Just my opinion of course. As far as Margaret and the phone on stage, no one should be surprised by this, it’s become another appendage for her, and her hand full of fans don’t care as long as they get their hug now and then.. You’re exactly right about VH1 taunting the prospective audience. They are like that little SOB in school who pokes you with a pin in the crowded hallway between classes. The “PR-Attention-Getting” game has been so saturated with the likes of the K’s that the entire profession has boiled down to who can annoy the public the most.
Anyone stupid enough to pay to see this pathetic has-been performer deserves the show she provides. Even the people who receive the free-please-help-fill-up-the-seats tickets deserve it. What a waste of money/time!

What enrages me, is that VH1 said it was never released. But people have screenshots of the clip with the VH1 url on the site.
Being someone who works in the web development world – either their tech people effed up and though they were hiding the page when they weren’t – or they purposely put it up, and then got too much backlash and are now backtracking.
It’s not like Leann has access to their FTP or site backend. SOMEONE on VH1s team either goofed, or they backtracked. End of story.
Also, when searching Vh1 Leann and Eddie Clip 2, this comes up, because google happened to be running a scan at some point when that went live:

It could be a couple weeks before that stops showing up on google, even though the page doesn’t exist. Thing is, the page DID exist.
ALL of the clips have been on VH1’s site. This is now, I think, 6 clips that they’ve released on their own site, then pulled after people ragged on them so hard. This one about Brandi was just awful and makes them look like awful people. And the first ones were terrible – boring, stiff, no chemistry, bad jokes and bad acting. There hasn’t been a single good clip to show this show is worth anyone but hate-watching!
I believe Vh1 is releases clips for feedback to see at what point viewers feel it “crosses the line”,pulls then re-edits final show to be aired. Predict final cut to be uneventful and boring. The series won’t last long without high subsidization by LeAnn’s own money.

I think it’s just a teaser. Everyone who would bother to tune in wants to know if they’re going to talk crap about Brandi. This way, they know they will. By pulling it, they generate ever more drama and attention, as if they are hiding something great. It’s like that old trope, if you want to get the entire high school to read the risque lit magazine, ban it.
Man oh man, there is some good stuff on this site today. I was kind of hoping there would be a LeAnn post and viola! Don’t ask me why I did this because I do not know, but last night out of sick curiosity, I got on the IMDb and looked up their Northern Lights movie. Okay, so the movie was probably shot sometime in 2008-2009. I was SHOCKED to see how drastically different LeAnn looks from six years ago. Her entire face has changed and NOT for the better. She was actually pretty cute. Whoever suggested she undergo the obviously many unnecessary procedures she’s had done must have been out for revenge or something. It’s quite a shame, really.
I did a similar thing recently and was surprised that she was cute back then. I think surgeries combined with being in a loveless marriage has destroyed her looks.
That and all her internal ugliness is coming out!

My favorite part is at the end, when Eddie casually tells LeAnn : “tongue me and I’ll do the no-tongue kiss” on the red carpet – he guaranteed someone will blow this out of proportion.
Of course, we are supposed to think the shoot was before the premiere, but we all know it’s after, it’s a re-shoot and it’s pathetic damage control over the photos where she tried to stick her tongue through his firmly pressed lips.
Ya they are ridiculous. Someone in the comments says this isn’t even really them on the way to the premiere, that eddie had different facial hair, so this was probably a staged conversation and it still made them look bad!

Ok, that clip is both pathetic and sad to me. He is obviously in control and tells her what to think and do. He’s kind of insulting to her and she sounds like a robot. I honestly believe that Eddie’s whole reason for staying with LeAnn now, is to get revenge on her for outing his infidelities and forcing the end of his marriage. He wants her to humiliate herself and suggests she do things that reinforce the public’s perception that he finds her repulsive and that their relationship is completely one-sided. He’s obviously not over the fact Brandi kicked him out. If LeAnn runs out of money and can’t fund his lifestyle and keep him and his friends in vacations and Don Julio, he’s going to be gone. I think I read that a long time ago– that is precisely what Eddie wants–revenge. And he is certainly succeeding but in the process making himself look like a scumbag. Driving up to a courthouse, he says, “Wouldn’t it be hilarious if we went inside and you signed some papers, which I happen to have right here, and we act like we’re divorced and I’m getting half the money and stuff? Ha ha ha, wouldn’t that be getting it over on everyone?”
I caught that lie too, about Eddie being a “costar”. He had a bit part but he is so insecure and yet arrogant at the same time, that he has to lie to make himself seem like a big star who gets work. Brandi was right in this case, he does not work and lives off Leann so he can stick it to Brandi and get his child support reduced.
That clip was PAINFUL to watch. Sadly I’ll be watching this train wreck of a “reality” show . If I can sit through True Tori and and sit through this.
Imagine if the internet was like today and twitter was around when Piper Perabo took away Andrew Keegan from LR (which is supposedly the twisted psychological trauma behind why she behaves this way with BG). She would crucify her; cyber stalk and God knows what else.

Judging from the overuse of social media displayed now, I cannot imagine what would be said about them, her dad, etc. Imagine her at 18 or 19 using it (though I really suspect she is emotionally aged around 14 as it is).
Most of this clip is the two of them talking about Brandi, (imagine Tori an Dean still talking about his ex) and Eddie admits that she is his motivation for doing what he does. He is still thinking about Brandi. He still wants her attention. He is still mad that Brandi dared to leave him after an entire marriage of him: lying to her, cheating on her, giving her HPV, publicly humiliating her with stalker Leann, leaving her broke, taking her kids half the time, refusing to work, trying to reduce her child support and bringing the paps to her door. What a stupid narcissist. He is so arrogant and self involved and boring that it’s a chore to watch him speak.

Men like Eddie get mad when they don’t get their way, and Brandi was probably the first woman to tell him no and stand up to him and he’s punishing her, he’s still obsessed with her and I bet that’s why LeAnn is trying to become her, makes no sense otherwise since she “won” Eddie.

They are a mystery to me. The clips are the only time Eddie shows an interest in her if you can call it that. All the pap pictures show him disinterested so which is it? They are banking their popularity or lack of on this show and they should be proud!?! We want to show the world how we laugh and laugh at all the tabloid garbage. Anybody who shows any kind of emotion that strongly and discusses an ex that much is not emotionally finished with the ex. You don’t see Leann sitting around talking about Dean non-stop. The crazy thing is that Leann enjoys talking about B as much as Eddie does. I learned after my divorce until you can discuss the ex with no emotion whatsoever you are not over them. While I do believe Eddie probably fits most traits of a sociopath and doesn’t really love anyone but himself, Brandi was the ultimate trophy wife for many years. She was his arm candy. While he thought Leann was going to be a trophy wife because of her former career, she has turned out to be nothing but a nut job who spends all her time trying to get him to love her. Leann knows the difference in the two marriages and that is why she spends all her time trying to prove theirs is true love. This whole Eddie trip has truly made her fall down the other side of the cliff. Probably why she has to have a paid babysitter with her all of the time.
I agree. Like Jess said above, Eddie is angry that Brandi finally said no to him, and his ego couldn’t take it. So he is spending the rest of his life so far, in a narcissistic rage at Brandi, instead of accepting responsibility for his part in ending their marriage. Eddie thought that he could do whatever he wanted and Brandi would just accept it with a smile and continue to be the trophy wife. I think he was blindsided when she finally started divorce proceedings and sold their home, that he refused to move out of. That’s when he quickly moved in with Leann. I think he resented both women for how quickly his life changed and for the publicity about what a low life he really is. So now he uses both of them and his own kids to try to hurt and humiliate his ex and his wife. I think that on some level Leann knows how much Eddie still obsesses about Brandi and that’s why she is still copying her, years later. Hence the hair extensions and the red aviators in the recent pictures and Leann’s twitter photo copying Sport’s Illustrated’s cover just days after Brandi had tweeted about the photo and it’s inspiration for her workouts.

I’m not sure where they were sourced (apparently someone in the twitter world found them), but they appear very good production quality (like the last one). I listened to the Wine and Sass take on this, and their speculation is that the more polished ones are what may end up on air.

Laughing at ‘TGIF’! Wow, her phone actually had a stool on stage and she checked it in view of the audience regularly. That is a full-on obsession and no one is intervening. I can’t quite believe she’s gone this long without a complete meltdown, but I guess Eddie keeps her satiated just enough to hang on. Let’s be happy they haven’t had children.
She was singing a song by another artist that the audience requested and she pulled the lyrics up on the phone and and laid it on the stool and would check it at times. The audience cheered her on and gave her big applause at the end for taking a request of a song by another artist not rehearsed.
I guess the truth isn’t as exciting.
I saw that, but the article in Star magazine was telling. The source is a gal on twitter who kept updating her status with how often she would check her phone, ask the audience where her husband was, and wasn’t reading lyrics off the phone, the lyrics were on paper, in her other hand.
That wasn’t the same concert. The one mentioned in Star, was in The Orleans Casino and she checked the phone in between songs, throughout the whole concert. The one where she sang the requested song, she had her hair in her beloved, greasy bun. The concert where she couldn’t find Eddie and was on the phone throughout, she wore a dress previously worn by Brandi and her hair down.
Those clips seriously make Brandi look like a saint for putting up with their crazy asses day in and day out. That tongue thing was so bad! What a horrible attempt at a save.
