Here’s some photos of Amber Heard getting all kissy with Johnny Depp on the set of Black Mass. Amber looks like she’s really into the Whitey Bulger costume — are those Wrangler jeans? Johnny’s costume jeans don’t come with the official Wrangler tag, but they’re pretty close to the smooshed-booty look that I see so often in my native Oklahoma. Johnny is shooting in Boston, but that locale doesn’t rule out Wranglers.

A new story in this week’s issue of Grazia (via the Mail) says that Amber and Johnny are completely enamored and preparing to marry this fall. Grazia isn’t the most reliable source, but they quote Amber’s dad, David Heard. David and Johnny are super tight for one big reason — Johnny believes that David is “the closest thing to Hunter S. Thompson that I’ve ever met.” That pretty much guarantees credibility of these quotes from Amber’s dad:

After recent reports suggested Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were expecting their first child together, the actress’ father has said the couple will wait till after they’re married… which isn’t likely to be too far away.

The 28-year-old and her Hollywood actor beau, who got engaged at Christmas, are planning to wed in the autumn according to her dad David, Grazia reports.

“There is a right way to do things and she and Johnny are the type of people that do it right. We will have grandchildren, but after the wedding,” he told the magazine from his Los Angeles home. “They are both so busy right now, both doing films, so they have no date but it will be sooner rather than later. Probably this Fall.”

He went on to say that it was Johnny, 50, who was keen to marry Amber, after previously splitting from his ex Vanessa Paradis in 2012. “It’s the time in Johnny’s life where he is thinking he can spend more time with the kids,” David added.

One variable is left: Did Amber make this sh-t up and feed it to her dad like she does when she tests her friends? I doubt it. Amber is a proud daddy’s girl. He wouldn’t talk without her permission either. We’ve already heard from Johnny that he wants to make 100 babies with Amber. Enjoy that visual.

One minor sidenote: George Jung was released from prison on Tuesday. He served almost 20 years for his role in pioneering the US cocaine trade. Johnny played Jung in Blow and visited him in prison to research his role. That’s not too important, but I found it interesting — especially since Johnny’s playing another bad guy now.
