Rob Kardashian has been hiding from the paps, so here are some old(er) school photos of him with Kris Jenner. She’s the root of all Kardashian evil, and I suspect she’s a large part of what drove Rob Kardashian into his current downward spiral. He’s an adult and perfectly capable of wearing big boy pants, but I’m so glad Kris Jenner isn’t my mom.
Just yesterday I was wondering where Rob has been hiding out at since Khloe tweeted about missing him. The answer has already arrived. Rob is overseeing construction at Khloe’s new house while she films in the Hamptons with Kourtney. Khloe now owns Justin Bieber’s old Calabasas home. She’s probably overhauling the whole place because it was covered from ceiling to floor in Swag. Or Sizzurp.
Speaking of Sizzurp, this week’s issue of InTouch has an exclusive story about how Rob is “using heavy drugs.” The tabloids says he’s into lots of painkillers (Percocet, Norco, Xanax) and Sizzurp. Ruh-roh:
Rob Kardashian’s problems are far worse than having to drop a few pounds.
In the new issue of In Touch, a close pal of the reality star makes the shocking claim that the 27-year-old has been self-medicating for many months with powerful prescription painkillers. The friend alleges to the mag that Rob is using Norco and Percocet, as well as the antianxiety drug Xanax.
According to the friend, in the weeks leading up to sister Kim’s May 24 wedding, Rob was holed up inside his Sherman Oaks, California, condo “doing heavy drugs.” The source exclusively tells In Touch: “He’d just lie around his place smoking weed, doing drugs, watching movies and eating. He said he ‘needed’ the pills.”
Rob has also been indulging in “Lean,” the friend alleges to In Touch. Also known as “Sizzurp,” the highly addictive cocktail of prescription-strength cough syrup, Sprite and a Jolly Rancher candy can cause seizures and even death.
Reports flooded the media when Rob Kardashian fled Europe before his sister Kim’s wedding, alleging that the star was too embarrassed by his weight to appear in photos. But a Kardashian insider tells a different story, claiming that the real reason behind his surprising departure may have been related to his drug use.
“The reason he left Kim’s wedding wasn’t just that he was embarrassed to pose in photos,” the insider exclusively reveals to the magazine. “He only knows how to party to excess. He is so depressed and needs help.”

There was a story in April about Rob heading to rehab for depression and substance abuse. Rob denied the story and said he was fine (except for the whole “I’m aware that I’m fat” part). He’s not “fine.” That much is obvious.
I don’t know if this story about Rob being addicted to painkillers and Sizzurp is true, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was close to accurate. Rob has some inferiority issues, and he seems very depressed. Some people think he gained up to 100 pounds for KUWTK, but I don’t believe that for a moment. That’s a lot of weight to gain, and we’re not just talking about food issues as the cause. Rob has deeper problems, and I hope he gets some real help. Soon.

I agree with you Audrey, this does seem like Kris is leaking stories to the tabloids. PMK will do anything to get publicity for the show and make money. Sadly it also includes throwing her child under the bus. She has no shame

While I don’t doubt that he has been self-medicating, (likely he didn’t learn healthy coping skills or conflict resolution growing up), the roll out to the press has distinct whiffs of what happened when Khloe and Lamar’s marriage ended. After all, how else are the rest of them going to absolve themselves of any blame or give themselves something to talk about while looking as serious as the botox will allow?
It makes me really curious about what happened to her to make her this way. I mean she made a decision to have 6 kids but doesn’t treat one of them like a normal mom treats her children. Plus according to Khloe it started when the kids were still young. I can’t imagine growing up in a household like that, I really feel for all of them but it seems all but Rob are choosing their mother’s way of life, maybe he is too sensitive for that cut throat family.

Yes and sizzurp is totally the remedy for that. But I think he genuinely has depression, too.
It is shocking to look at current pics compared to the old ones.
I have the feeling that soon we’ll read that something bad happened to Rob.
On the other side I hope this is just Kris way of dealing with him while he’s on fat camp in Barbados with his phone off and no famewhores around.
His problem is that he’s a Kardashian. His family is full of succubi and they’ll suck the life out of every man within a ten mile radius.
I read the headline to this item and thought “Jeezy creezy, wouldn’t YOU be if you were tethered to this family of down-market but money-grubbing vampires?” I’m surprised he isn’t mainlining heroin.
I don’t think it matters that he’s an adult. Family problems (especially parental problems) can cut deep, no matter how old you are.
Rob may or may not be as much of an a-hole as the rest of his family, but that’s irrelevant. What is obvious is that he’s suffering from pretty major depression and the rest of them are too absorbed in money-grubbing, famewhoring and ass-implanting to give two shits about it.
That’s gotta hurt.

I think the Jenner boys are more normal because they are not close to this family. I think they saw it for what it was and said HELL NO. I actually like Rob. Don’t know much about him; but he seemed nice. He should have moved away and built a life away from them all. distance seems to be the answer.

Of course PMK is leaking these false stories. Their new season just premiered and no mention of how the ratings were. I bet the ratings were low. They have to jump into over-drive now to get some pr. If their ratings aren’t good this season I don’t think E will renew their contracts.

I could feel a bit sorry for him but he also tweeted that he doesn’t believe in therapy, rehab and those types of things. So he either isn’t as bad as they are saying (and it’s just another story line for the show and to get publicity) or he’s in denial (which could be true).
Not that I do not doubt Rob may be a substance abuser but just like this wretched family did with Lamar Odom and Kris Humphries, they try to tear down any man who does not walk the Kardashian line of rule and worship. These horrible cauldron stirring witches will do anything to discredit the men in their lives who rebel against the tide in order to justify their own shallow and disgusting behavior.

Notice that when Odom and Khloe were splitting up a daily dose of drug stories were leaked about Lamar and how he was near death. Now we hear nothing. When Kim split with Humphries, a daily dose of how horrible he was. Now they are putting Rob on blast to cover up for their hideous actions in Italy.
Bottom line, whetherfor not Rob is an addict , it should not be a reason to keep this family’s name in the press or a means to discredit him and explain away Italy. He needs help not further humiliation, I know this and I cannot stand him. His family allegedly loves him and fails to see it.

Lean and Rx pills like those mentioned are kind of the new thing for younger generations. And they make you HUNGRY. It’s honestly a plausible reason for his weight gain… All the excess drugs makes the excessive attitude continue to food. If it’s true he’s got a long road ahead of him if he hopes to recover. Yikes.
the benzo might fuel his hunger, but those other pills mentioned (percs, narco) actually curb the appetite….however…if he is taking an antidepressant/mood stabiler like Abilify or Lexapro he may be gaining weight from those…they blow people the hell up
Okay thanks I was the square out of all my friends who doesn’t indulge in the pills or syrup. But nobody takes just one thing at a time these days. “Oh just percs for me tonight” not going to happen. Usually mixed with alcohol and weed, too. People become zombies at the end of the night. So sad.
I agree and it’s awful on a persons body with long term use….I’m from the east coast and we have raging problems with pill addiction in my area…as for the syrup, I have never known anyone to do that…maybe it’s a hollyweird thing!
Lexapro doesn’t necessarily blow people up – I’ve been on it for 10 years and it hasn’t made me gain any weight. However, maybe he’s on another antidepressant that has messed with him.
Sounds like drugs could be a big part of his problem. I don’t disagree there.

So this is kind of off subject but last night I was watching a special on the Nicole Brown Simpson murder and there she was front and center, Lucifer’s homegirl herself happily obliging an interview. Man, she’ll do anything for media exposure.
um yeah, Nicole was her “best friend” right up until she got murdered.
I feel so sorry for him, but then I feel so sorry for all the members of the Klan who seem human (i.e. good-hearted), because for all their affluence, it’s only the shallow ones in that family who seem happy.
And you know, he’s a cute guy when he’s at a healthy weight, so it’s not like he couldn’t benefit from his lifestyle the way others in his family do. So why doesn’t he? Because he had a heart to injure, and it’s clearly been hurt a lot.
I called this years ago when I was watching a season of kuwtk. It was when he was living with Khloe and Lamar. He always looked glossy and out of it. I thought this guy is on scrips.
If he is stung out on these rxs and that nasty sizzup stuff he’s in big trouble because his family does not care. Pimp Jenner is a user her self and could careless . He makes no $$$ for her or Kimeye . I feel for him because he has no real support system and he needs one.
Maybe just maybe rob had something important to attend to at home(meetings? Left washing in the machine?) And seeing as it’s Kim’s 3rd wedding people would be like it’s 3rd wedding who cares?
