January Jones, Ethan Hawke and Zoe Kravitz were in Venice to promote their new film, Good Kill, a few days ago. I think Ethan was in Venice for multiple films, and Good Kill was the last of them. Good Kill is the production that brought us the “January and Ethan might be having an affair” rumors back in March – January was posting cutesy selfies taken with Ethan and they seemed notably friendly.

But let’s talk about fashion! January and Zoe both brought it for their photocall and premiere looks. For the photocall (the blue background photos), January wore Hugo Boss Fall 2014. Ordinarily, I think the whole sheer-sleeves with a cuff thing is a very dated look, but I really love this dress. Very pretty and a bit conservative for January. For the photocall, Zoe Kravitz wore black Balenciaga, an asymmetrical top and shorts combo. I would have disliked this for the premiere, but I think it’s fine for a photocall. It’s sassy and dramatic, but not overboard.

Their premiere looks (the photos with the red carpet): January wore Hugo Boss again, this time a full-length cream beaded gown. It’s a pretty gown, nicely tailored, but I kind of think the whole look is really boring on January. It’s TOO safe. She’s trying to give a high-fashion glare to the cameras, but she just looks like a pissy soccer mom. Not so hardcore, January! As for Zoe’s premiere look… Armani Privé Fall 2014 Couture. Very pretty, and this is a “safe” look for Zoe as well. She usually goes for a much more “quirky” look on red carpets. And I don’t know why she’s so shiny? She looks like she’s been doused with baby oil. Still, Zoe is so pretty! I’m so glad she’s back to her dark hair too.
