Yay! The first married photos of Mr. and Mrs. George Clooney. George and Amal stepped out on Sunday, the day after their Venice wedding. They were leaving the Aman Canal Grande Hotel, which I guess is where they spent their first night together as a married couple. Amal’s gorgeous hair looks a little bit… well, she doesn’t look blow-out perfect, let’s say that. According to People Mag, Amal and George were headed to the Belmond Hotel Cipriani for a post-wedding brunch with guests.
My general vibe: Amal looks really happy. And George looks like his back hurts. So, it was a successful wedding night! I can’t say I love Amal’s married-lady style though. This dress is so short and stiff!! It looks like something Duchess Kate would pick out for herself so she could flash everybody. As for the wedding, there are some assorted details that we can discuss:
*The actual wedding had George and Amal standing on “a podium in front of a large wall of white candles.”
*The venue was “decorated with white flowers, including tiny roses, lilies and carnations as well as hundreds of additional hand-crafted flickering candles.” The music: disco and jazz “from bands like Blondie, Jackson 5, Amy Winehouse, and Daft Punk.”
*Every guest got a “bag of goodies” which “included a wedding weekend itinerary, suggestions for what to do, and yes, rules for the big day.” No cell photos allowed. The guests all got an iPod and speaker with George and Amal’s personalized playlist.
*George and Amal arranged for drinks, piano entertainment and food for their guests at the Cipriani for Friday.
*The reception food: “ Guests then feasted on lobster, lemon risotto, and fried polenta with mushrooms.”
*As their guests prepared to leave Venice, “Clooney and Alamuddin gifted everyone with a framed picture of themselves.” Each guest also received a short note/letter reading: “We’re both so glad you’re here. You’ve come a long way so we’ll make it worth the trip. Thanks for being here. It means the world to us.”
I love the menu! I bet George and Amal had a real cake too (please, let them eat a real cake). I also love that the guests got a photo of George and Amal because that’s just cla$$y.

Very nice.
Aw, they look cute, happy and hung over – just like you’re supposed to look after your wedding 😉
Cloonzy always looks that way … Well, at least the hung over part 🙂
Yeah, he reminds me of Dean Martin that way, lol! I love that last pic of them facing each other. They look really happy and they seem well matched. Can’t wait to see her wedding dress. 🙂
Her hair is definitely mussed. Look at the tumbleweed on the back of it in the last picture! Hee, hee, someone had some fun the night before and messed up her blowout!
🙂
or they want you to think that 🙂
Not saying they didn’t have a fun night, but her hair is definitely styled for this outing. The difference is the hair stylist must have left. Gives hope for the rest of us that our hair can look great with the right blowout too. The few times I have had a professional blowout, I can’t believe the difference or why I can’t do it at home myself.
I hate this dress and the Alexander Mcqueen mullet red dress. So far the only one I like is the black and white striped dress she wore coming over. She is so thin that the horizontal stripes on top made her look bit less anorexic. She may not be, but just like bigger girls need to dress for that fact so do very thin girls, especially if you are going to parade and pose around Venice with George Clooney.
Pretty dress, but way too short in front and open like an umbrella – she looks ready to flash – Kate would love that dress.
With fabric that heavy and stiff there’s no chance of it ‘accidentally’ flying up, so it wouldn’t suit Kate’s purposes at all. Just looking like she might flash everyone isn’t good enough, she has to actually be able to expose herself.
It doesn’t need to fly up. She’s just exposed herself to all the people waiting below on the boat. Those people being the fellows hired to operate the boat & help people in & out of the boat. You know, like she’s been doing all weekend. It’d work for Kate. 😉
Yeah, too short. It looks little girly – like something a flower girl should have worn.
Forgive me cynicism (I know, how could I?) but they both seem far more in love with the camera than with each other.
This.
+1 They are posing, posing, posing ALL the time, it’s getting on my wick…
They look like a couple of catalogue models.
He is an ACTOR.
I agree! They are loving this attention. It’s weird because George doesn’t need. I’m cynical but I feel like their is some ulterior motive to this relationship. I don’t know what the end game is but I’m not buying this relationship.
I agree. This whole spectacle is so out of character for clooney. And what’s with the horrible suits! It’s like a mixture of obnoxious lobbyist and politician. Hideous. There’s something very fake with all this and super cheesy. Call me cynical but to me there is something that doesn’t add up here.
+1
They got a photo of them? Does no one have a smartphone? What a dumb party gift.
ETA: Saw the rule about no cell phones but still what a crappy gift.
All guests were supplied with digital cameras which contained a unique encrypted code.
If any photos were to be leaked they could be traced back to a specific person.
Please tell me you made that up? Because it’s entirely possible but also frickin’ paranoid.
I just red an article about Clooney giving ‘burner phones’ to all his guests, meaning it can be tracked if somebody leaks to some media outlet. They are coded.
The photos are were automatically uploaded to a database that clooney’s people could look at-so if any leaked they would know who they were from.
@Siri, actually you have that a bit backwards. “Burner” phones can’t be traced. That’s why it’s harder to solve crimes when the suspect uses a burner phone during the commission of the crime. It’s like printing a record of your conversation and then burning it to ashes. I can definitely believe the Clooney would do that (which by the way, paranoid much) but the phones they were issued were not “burner” phones.
It seems really heavy handed but as I said I can definitely believe this because from the very beginning Clooney has been very strategic about controlling their public image as a couple. They may be in love, I don’t really question that, but they are very conscious and very Machiavellian in how they are constructing their picture-perfect public image. I’m enjoying the media circus but every time I see them I count down to the final reveal of what George’s true motive are for putting on such a show. You know he has one (several).
It’s not unheard of for the bride and groom to present a photo of themselves at their wedding, as well as one with them and the respective guests. Granted, in my experience with European weddings, presenting it on the day is not that usual unless there is a team developing the photos in situ, but at least it’s not as far-fetched or self-centered as some people make it sound.
What I do find self-centred is downloading all YOUR fave songs onto the iPod gift. Really? I wonder how Bono liked it.
In every wedding I’ve ever been to, I’ve always received a wedding favor that included a picture of the bride and groom, usually a beautiful greeting card with a small “thank you for attending our wedding” or “thank you for being witness to our special day” type message on the bottom. It’s not unusual at all and it’s not self-centered. I’ve always appreciated them and have every single on I’ve ever gotten. I’m going to hell for this, but I have a little album where I collect all the cards and I stamp DIVORCED across the picture of all the couples that have divorced since the wedding. It’s funny and sad at the time. It’s always interesting to see who (of the divorced couples) find it funny and who gets angry. Very revealing character study.
That dress looks ridiculous. She looks like a toddler playing dress up.
Sorry RENEE, I didn’t see your comment when I posted mine.
Awful dress. I just don’t get her dress sense. Why is a almost 40yr.old woman dressing like a teenager? That dress is just odd looking on her.
I want to like the dress but…it’s hard. I don’t trust George, but I have a problem trusting men in general. It would be nice if it were all legit, and there was a happy ending. Happy ending must exist somewhere, don’t you think?
If her dress were a bit longer, I wouldn’t hate it.
The more they’re selling me this, the less I’m buying it. I actually think I preferred the contract-girls 🙁
+1
I think Amal IS a contract girl, but being a lawyer she negotiated a better deal for herself!
If they had just got married quietly and not made a big fuss of it, I might have bought it. But by spilling every detail to ‘People’ – she played hard to get, he cooked her pasta, she’s ‘his equal’ blah blah blah – it all becomes a bit ‘protesting too much’. If Clooney was hoping to change his image and put all those jokes about beards behind him, imho he’s failed miserably.
They got married, Congratulations. Now can they please go away? And yes, I came on this thread to say this.
I have never bought that he is gay. But I do think something is off here. It’s too much of a show.
Brad and Angelina got married without anyone knowing. You can do things on the down low. This is like a Kardashian publicity stunt.
Believe it or not, I find Kimye more authentic than these two. Kim and Kanye are stunt queens and love attention, but I think their relationship is genuine and they share a child together. Everything about Amal and George’s relationship seems like another business deal.
+1 Contract with a better deal.
ok i can buy the contract but why? I get the stereotype thing where he was known as a bachelor who liked a good cocktail waitress, but why would he care? He doesn’t need more fame or money. Plus he seems like a pretty chill guy so why all this?
He is using her for something more than counteracting the bachelor persona he has built.
Is he going to get into politics? Does he need some street cred with the smart people?
Kibbles: +++the Kardashian bunch have never pretended to be talented, generous or anything other than fame whores. Not likable but not hypocrites. No one expects mother Teresa selflessness, but the sheer expense and publicity surrounding the display of entitlement is bothersome. A private secret wedding would’ve screamed class..this just screams.
YES. Call me a curmudgeon, but I am not buying this “wedding” at all. It feels like a business agreement. (I think it is very convenient that she is a lawyer!) I don’t see him beaming. It all looks like acting. The PR, the rush wedding… I think she is another Contract Girl. Billy Joel should write a new song.
Can I ask why people think this is a contract? I get that some think George is gay so he needs a beard, but what is in it for her? She is not in show business so her connection to George doesn’t help. She is not a regular lawyer where being well known may get her clients. She works in international law where the Hague chooses who represents each client. She has plenty of her own money, plus her family has stacks of money. For goodness sake they live in Chelsea therefore her family home is probably worth $20 million plus.
Amal’s family are well-off, but I doubt they are anywhere near as rich as you are maintaining. Even if they are, they still would be paupers compared to Clooney.
But it isn’t all about the money anyway. A year ago, Amal may have been well known in her own circle, but nobody in the general public had a clue who she was. And being a lawyer is famously tough work. Now she’s going to be on the cover of Vogue, has a massive wedding in Venice with the world’s press fawning over her, gets to wear outfits by the world’s top designers, has an engagement ring worth as much as several African nations….
Need I go on? I think it’s fairly obvious what’s in it for Amal.
She posted their banns in Chelsea, which mean their terrace house is in Chelsea. Go take a look how much terrace houses are in Chelsea. A very small one bedroom studio/unit is worth $1.2 million and that looked nothing like the massive terrace home in the pap shots. This area means you have money, serious money
Maybe they beard for eachother???
Amal isn’t really a ‘high profile lawyer’- she’s one of many barristers, and they are all well-educated, and smart. Now she’s gonna get enough PR to foster her profile. Also, I can’t help thinking she was unexperienced regarding relationships with men. I truly believe her mother&father wanted her to get married. It was reported somewhere, that her father, after being ask about Clooney, commented with: “Now the whole world will know who Amal Alamuddin is.” If that was true, it says a lot. And if I look at how Amal and her mother wave at the crowd, and how she starts posing like all the other Clooney girls, I say she’s in for the show, and the PR. To me, she seems very immature, and the choice of that ‘brunch dress’ seems to indicate she really loves glamour, even to the point where it becomes tacky. Yes, her family is very wealthy, and Clooney’s millions come in handy, but I think the attention/PR is the bigger magnet here. After all, her mother owns a PR company. And I think there are political motives behind all this as well.
ASTA there are blind items saying exactly that.
It wouldn’t take much of a bad angle on that dress to be like, “hello boys”.
Especially entering and exiting a boat.
EXACTLY!
All you need is a long flight of stairs and a lot of people at the bottom. ‘Nuff said.
I wonder what is was like sitting down in that sucker.
She dresses like a 21 year old who just came into her inheritance.
this.
lol…..so true!
This actually struck me as toddler-girly-party-dress. I liked her striped ensemble better, she looked like an adult.
No, I think she is a 36-year old who just came in to her “inheritance”. But hey, they both look very pleased, so.. happy marriage.
Yeah, that dress is wtf.
They really do look good together! I absolutely love that dress on her, she looks amazing.
(I’m just trying to figure out that photo thing – would George and Amal really have given them a photo of them to everybody or did they give a photo of the person? ie have a photographer running around at the wedding taking photos of everyone and then get the photos printed out? I think it’s slightly odd wording there).
That was a photo of them together back when they first fell in love and were on vacation. I think it was just in a gift bag as a memento.
So funny because I was kinda confused as well. But it is a photo of George and Amal.
The photo is pretty cute – scroll through the article to see it –
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2772608/George-Clooney-Amal-Alamuddin-wedding-bands-make-appearance-man-wife.html
Me, I’d take the frame home and eventually cover up their picture with one of @jaderu or @mimif’s potatoes.
I’m a TOTAL sap but I actually think that photo is cute! I’m also really impressed by that camera+code thing. That’s blimmin ingenious!
That photo show me what a great sense of humour she probable has.
Did you see his hands in that photo, and how they cover the entire span of her waist? She has a waist that looks to be 18″ without a corset? Wow.
The Today show had a shot of them leaving today and they did look uber glamorous. She had a big white hat on.
i like the idea of the dress. very pretty and unboring. it’s the fashiony kind (been loving the Venice pics–beautiful city + nice wedding couture). but i’m guessing there’s some sort of boy shorts or slip under the dress?
going up and down the boat must be challenging.
All of her couture outfits have been spot on, stunning and very fashionable. I really love this outfit also. But as a lawyer, who will be involved in upcoming high-profile cases, I find it odd she would be THAT short in the front knowing the photo-op they were having going outside. Other than that, I have loved all of the stylish, yet very unique, couture dresses/gowns she’s been in. She pulled them all off beautifully and very glamorous.
That black and white striped dress she wore when she arrived in Venice was just amazing.
Deb
Some kind of shorts would be far out with that dress, I’d love that look!
He put his back out and she has a rutting tangle. I would say that counts as a win.
I see that “I got laid out last night” hair. Good for them.
They gave a photo of themselves to wedding guests. How humanitarian of them. I feel like this barfstravaganza is never going to end.
I watched video of this and she seemed to be VERY aware of the camera and loving it. Posing on that boat like there’s no tomorrow.
Totally agree. And in the pics with Clooney the two of them look like a maid of honor and a groomsman who just met at the cereony. Friendly looking for the photographer but not seeming to know each other very well.
And I know its common practice for celebrities to not let guests bring phones to a wedding but OMG Clooney arranged this whole thing to be out in the open with the exception of the wedding dress because Vogue has first rights to that. I’d tell George to shove his no cell phone rule.
I don’t know why I’m taking this wedding personally. I guess I’m tired of so many celebrities getting away with crafting multiple artificial images of themselves in order to gain more attention, power and cash.
I was kind of on the fence about her until I saw all of the pre/post wedding photos but I officially can’t stand her. She may be intelligent and accomplished but she’s waaay to into the attention and spectacle. There’s a video of them getting into the boat shown in these photos on DM and she must touch/toss her hair 30 times. She’s constantly aware of the cameras and looks to be posing/fake smiling at all times. She’s totally affected and ridiculous. I’m a professional woman and I just can’t imagine presenting myself this way as a sexy barbie/arm candy if you’re actually a confident, independent person who wants to be known for your intelligence and substance. She’s gonna love being Mrs Clooney, and we’re going to see a lot more skin, big hair and her giant veneered teeth!
Everytime I see Amal, I think Hiliaria Balwin! Same love of the camera…same “look at me, look at me” attitude….
How smart can she be ? …. She married Boozy Cloonzy
Or as some have started to call him during this circus- “Clowney”. Heh.
That were my thoughts, too. Would I want to be represented by a lawyer who poses like this, and waves to the masses like royalty? I also question her good judgement wearing that kind of dress, knowing she has to step in and out of a boat. Her professional credentials don’t match with her obvious immaturity. I somehow feel like it’s a mentor/student thing between these two. She just looks and acts like a little girl who got the biggest ice cream ever.
It’ll be interesting to see where Amal’s legal career goes from now on. She’s been taking an awful lot of time off since the engagement – and yes, I know lawyers can work from anywhere to some extent, but surely you have to meet with clients and colleagues who can’t just fly out to Lake Como at the drop or a hat? Also, clients whose lives very nearly depend on their legal representation might not want to hire a lawyer who’s an autumn breeze away from flashing her lady bits.
I suspect we’re going to see less of Amal the accomplished human rights lawyer from now on, and more of Amal the professional full-time wife/beard.
@Etheldreda: I can only agree. Sure, she doesn’t need much more than a laptop&iphone, but I simply doubt that’s good enough for high profile clients where you usually meet up on their request. I suspect Clooney didn’t change, he wants her to be available, and to follow his rules. We’ve seen it already, when the UN asked her to join that special commission. She first agreed, and later declined. The UN cannot publish her name on their website without her consent. I really feel like she kind of sold herself. Hope I’m wrong.
they look happy, so, congrats? love george’s suit, amal’s dress is “meh” at best.
Wearable (Ice skating) wedding cake with food-coloring fondue flowers or she had a high velocity impact with a kaleidoscope of migrating butterflies while on the speedboat in the canal. Very ‘precious’. Or, perhaps the RumdiariesGoodnames had a projectile vomiting incident, yesterday, after consuming the pansy centerpiece by mistake.
Hilariously awesome!
lol
No, but you have given me inspiration for my next collection. Barfwear. I like it.
I meant fondant. I must subliminally want fondue.
She’s dressed as the wedding bell(e) here. Complete with tiny thigh clappers.
Actually like everything else about the dress…wish it didn’t expose her to that cring-y extent though. 3″ more and not a mullet would be brilliant. Or on a flower-girl.
That dress is awful and she chose to wear that too a brunch? Come off it she is way overdressed but she does that all the time. Her fashion sense is miss most times. And this isn’t the first pictures of Mr and Mrs Clooney they aren’t really married until Monday when they have the legal ceremony. Like everything else about this “wedding” it’s a farce. Clooney looks old and tired little Miss I’m smarter then you look like she hit the jackpot. Kim and Kanye need to take notes on how to create a PR stunt that lasts nearly a week. I hear something is going to happen and that is the real reason we have this rushed overexposed wedding. What happened to him keeping his private life private?
+1
P.S. What are you hearing is going to happen, do tell?
I really can’t fault a woman for being happy on the day after her wedding and taking lots of photos. My Facebook feed is filled with my friends photos at weddings and yeah it’s a thing people do. To me it seems like she wanted a traditional, splashy, huge wedding and to be the center of attention instead of hiding from all the paparrazi and god bless her she got what she wanted.
Uh, I think George wanted it just as much and knew how to set it up. He’s the media savvy one for big red carpet type events, not her.
Couldn’t agree more!
Got nothing negative to say. They look happy. Congratulations to them.
Someone at the Daily Fail commented that the big public extravaganza aspect of the wedding might be a reflection of Amal’s Lebanese heritage, where bigger-is-better weddings that cost a fortune are a reflection on the family, their social standing etc.
This could be complete rubbish (given that it DID come from that abomination of a “newspaper” and their [usually] misanthropic commentators)… but if there is someone from a Lebanese background, can you let us know if this might have a kernel of truth to it?
We have a big Lebanese community in Australia, but I don’t recall huge showy weddings being a “thing”. I normally associate this with Indian and Greek weddings, but it could just be my ignorance showing.
Alternatively, I could just stick with my “he’s running for office” theory.
I am calling bullcrap on that. My husband is 100% Lebanese, and there was no pressure on either side to have a big extravaganza. I don’t really think it is cultural. They do like to eat though, and to make sure there is enough food for everyone. That was a big deal.
I think for whatever reason they both wanted a big extravagant paparazzi friendly wedding, and that is what they had. As long as he doesn’t complain about how intrusive the press is with him it doesn’t bother me. Otherwise he is being a bit hypocritical.
I believe it. Have you ever been to an Arab wedding? They last forever, so huge, sometimes flashy but everyone likes a huge party.
I’m saying this as a Palestinian.
My uncle even had TWO weddings in the same day to accommodate everyone.
There’s a reason why there is a saying in Arabic, ‘She/He is making a wedding’ (Making a huge deal out of something).
My Greek cousins in Chicago had wedding events that lasted five days, so yeah, there are cultures that make long wedding spectacles. I eloped myself and pissed everyone off, but our friends and family gave us three receptions when we got home (got married in another country), including one in Italy at the in-laws.
I remember weddings being all-night affairs in Jordan. And I recall that little girls were always so exquisitely dressed up in what I considered ‘party’ dresses every time they left the house.
Lebanese weddings are often extravaganzas, and if you come from a rich family like Amal does, it’s almost expected to be over the top. If the wedding had taken place in Lebanon it might have been even bigger than the one in Venice because then everybody would have wanted to come. In the summer roads are blocked while wedding parties travel from the groom’s town to the bride’s town, and back again, with much horn honking, music playing and rice throwing. When I was little we’d run to the balcony when we heard them coming so we could see the bride and wave at her. The photos of them on the boat in the canal reminded me of that, of the summer brides passing by in a convertible.
Her bad hair day beats my hair at its absolute best so…and I love that dress.
Best style she’s ever had, IMO, and best attempt at making an arranged marriage look legit.
“Clooney and Alamuddin gifted everyone with a framed picture of themselves.”… what the hell do guest do with their framed photo? lol
Put someone else’s pic in it !!
Haha, that’s exactly what people do with them-take them home & stick another picture in the frame. 🙂 But the married couple (usually) expects that. Our wedding favors when Mr Vix & I got married included small silver picture frames with an engagement photo inside. The pic of us was really just a space holder for a lovely frame that they could then use as they wish.
Yes, Vix, everyone can always use a frame. Good gift.
Amal has sex hair. High-five!
Congratulations to them. They look happy.
she totally does. haha
Yay!!
Love the hubba hubba rat’s nest in her hair.
I have a potato starch hangover.
Glad it’s over
*passes out*
I think they are both stunning and I hope they are happy for more than a week. But I want to see the wedding dress. Shots like these are nothing new, married or not.
I noticed he looks a bit subdued in the morning after pictures. He could be incredibly hung over, or maybe he regrets what he just did.
I love how people read what they want to in their pictures. You can’t really tell anything about them from these photos. To be honest it looks like it could be for a photo shoot, or it could be real emotions, or it could be hell I am getting photographed by tons of people I need to look happy and in love. Who knows. Probably the third option.
When I first saw the dress I didn’t like it, but if she has some shorts on underneath, then I definitely like it. I’m going to assume she does. She’s got great legs!
I think this has been the best wedding in a long time! Love Venice so much, what an incredible place to get married. Those wooden boats are so beautiful, too.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
Lol. Yeah, I’m still not buying it, folks. However it is going to be fun watching them try to sell it.
They actually seem really happy, which I hope means that the marriage may last. The fact that she’s in her mid-30s and so accomplished makes the age gap a little less daunting than first glance. (Like anyone expected him to marry a peer, anyway.)
The one thing I like about Clooney is that when he goes famewhore, he goes full throttle. He’s the consummate Hollywood man.
She is so gaunt and stringy. Which is too bad because her face is lovely but seeing her legs I just get so distracted.
Also, she manages the weirdest angles and poses I have ever seen in photographs. At least here it is not so pronounced but in other photos taken earlier last week, she looked so weird!
+1
Congratulations to both! I loved it all! She’s a beautiful women and they look very happy! I wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, joy and hopefully a little one!
After seeing some good close ups of her , this woman is just not the stunning beauty the press and George pr is proclaiming. IMO. She’s all hair and her body looks gaunt. I don’t think she’s attractive at all, but she does have glorious, glorious hair.
I think the dress is awful and what the hell is she thinking she’s practically showing her wazoo in that dress, it looks like something a teenager with money would wear to her first prom.
Her style is awful. Not impressed.
All of this has been, very Tom Cruise , Katie Holmes-ish.
George must have a real image problem on some level with the public, because a lot of the public comments in various newspapers I’ve read around the world are just not buying this true-romance on some level or many public comments in several papers are that the George Clooney has hyped the wedding to death.
as humid as venice is, i would sell my soul to have my hair look as good as her’s “mussed”.
just kidding. i would sell my soul to have her hair. period.
Oh, you and me, both! Great hair! And it looks like all the women in the family have that hair. In the photos from the pre-wedding (or pre-pre-wedding, depending on which is the real wedding) dinner, all the women and girls in her family have luscious long dark locks. They all seem to be fairly thin & long-limbed, too. I think Amal looks like her mother, so I’m guessing her mother was probably just as thing in her younger days. (Totally guessing about that, of course.)
I dunno, a wedding is an important milestone and most brides I know grin and smile and act happy on their wedding day. She’s getting a lot of attention and loving it. I don’t see what the crime is. To her credit, when she’s gotten papped in London she hasn’t been smiling at the camera, she is simply ignoring it and going on with her business. I imagine it will be the same after the wedding when she goes back to work. I don’t really care if it’s a business arrangement or not. She’s allowed to look happy during her wedding weekend in which her family and friends traveled far to attend. At least these two show emotion. I hated Kim and Kanye’s wedding portraits on IG which were full of brooding staring off into space pictures. Kanye looks constipated like he always does and Kim looks like a plastic doll with a one note expressions.
Kim and Kanye wedding photos were strange. Kim giving us what she thought was her socialite/A-lister/fashion icon face. She practiced for weeks to give that dead stare. LOL
No one will come close to, match or top CBK when she was photographed for the first time as a Kennedy leaving their TriBeCa loft. That’s all.
Don’t like the dress. Hair doesn’t hurt my feelings.
Even though Georges mom may not interfere with her grown sons personal life. Secretly deep down this is the kind of woman she was hoping that he would marry one day.
A wall of candles? Have they been consulting Kimye?
I purposely did not pay attention to the news about this wedding, but then caught some pics on TV at the gym last night and it piqued my interest about HER. I want to know what would make this obviously smart and beautiful woman fall for this man wh*re commitment-phobe after not knowing him for even a year? Maybe being 36 has something to do with it – maybe the attention of being with a celebrity – maybe the thrill of bagging the guy that no other woman had been able to bag.
For his part, my first thought was that he was either trying to keep up with Stacy Keibler or getting back at her, because she was married in March and he proposed to Amal in April. I’d like to believe that he finally found his soul mate in her, but only time will tell. Compared to pics with him and Stacy, he looks so much more well groomed, pulled together, and happy for the moment. I thought everything Amal wore looked lovely on her, especially the pantsuit.
Ccharper is right. During the engagement, i thought there was another carolyn bessette in the making. Clearly this woman is no where near. Their wedding is tacky and so hollywood.
Great wedding! At last Clooney ancouraged to do this. But I`m afraid there is more show than abything else. And I don`t agree it`s tacky, it has a lot of taste and reserveness, but still a lot of noise and conspiration. Anyway, good luck in the marriage and wish George more great roles!
