Here are some more photos of Beyonce and her itty-bitty baby bangs in London yesterday. The Knowles-Carter family left Paris on Tuesday and I guess it’s time for a London getaway. Beyonce and Jay went to The Arts Club Tuesday night and then Beyonce was photographed visiting some art galleries during the day yesterday. She’s still trying to make the bangs happen. She even posted some new bangsy photos on her Tumblr too (I’m including those pics in this post). Sidenote: Beyonce thinks she can mix prints like a champ, but I have to strenuously disagree. She looks like she got dressed in the dark.
The Daily Beast did a heavy-handed think-piece about the outrage/mockery of Beyonce’s baby bangs. I feel like… we shouldn’t be taking the bangs so seriously. Like, let’s not write a dissertation about What Beyonce’s Bangs Mean For Society And Feminism, okay? Sometimes we can just lightly tease Beyonce for a stupid wig or bangs clip-ins, whatever this is. I’m still not convinced that we’re seeing any of her real hair and I really, really doubt that she’ll have these bangs for more than two weeks, tops.
Now, I am interested in Beyonce and Jay-Z’s seemingly new art-bug. According to The Daily Mirror, Bey and Jay went to sculptor Anish Kapoor’s studio and the David Zwirner gallery yesterday, plus they got to meet Anish Kapoor himself. Kapoor gave them a personal tour of his studio. The Mirror says Kapoor only does that when big-money is on the table and someone is looking to buy. Pricey. Very pricey.

I like the black tee shirt and plaid skirt look, even the hair looks good there. The second look is terrible somehow.

She must have a hairstlye on hand when she doing these tumblr pictures because that doesn’t even look like the same wig.
Is there any dispute that she photoshops all her pictures… She looks smaller everywhere in the photos then the pap shots… Besides the 100 lens filter on the pic…

No doubt about it, she does. I mean, just look at the difference in her arms in the candid vs Tumblr pictures.
It’s incredibly obvious in that bobble-headed second photo.
That being said, I like that outfit.
No. And I’m convinced she’s trolling too, she keeps posing against backgrounds that have straight lines, and whoever does her photoshop isn’t good enough at it to fix up the residual waviness, so it’s just so, so obvious. It’s been pointed out dozens of times now, but she can’t find a plain background to be photographed against? She really is just after whatever attention she can get.
Hint: the first look is supremely photoshopped, and the second picture is a candid street shot.

Someone called it the other day when they said Beyoncé would release professionally styled tumblr pics. The bangs look more… acceptable there. But in a couple of these shots, ummmm… is the wig crooked?!

I vote terrible on the outfit she’s wearing in the header pic but I kinda dig the red plaid skirt and t-shirt she’s sporting in the tumblr pic.
She really needs to stop Photoshopping her pics so much. I had mentioned in a post from earlier this week that one of her Photoshopped pics made her resemble Michael Jackson. It’s bad Photoshop and too obvious.
Aaaaand this is why Beyoncé is not a fashion icon.
Meh! the bangsy wig sitting a smooth foot on top of her head IS Terrible (better in Photoshoot mode but pretty unforgivable!) The Mix printery though??!?! I must Copy As Soon As my Money Lets me! I frigging love it ( that said Im wearing a black and white stripped skirt today and a Bright blue top with tiny green apples all over and I’ve gotten two compliments already… I think the trick is for maybe one or two colors to echo each other in the prints?)

Agreed, I think the print mixing works well here. And keeping the shape of the outfit simple helps.
That top outfit and wig needs to go and when you have a hole in your shirt it time to trash it.

Is there a Cleopatra movie being made? That is the first thing I thought of after seeing those pictures yesterday. Bangs – awful. Maybe she got her comb wound up in her hair and had to cut it out. I did that, once, when I was a kid!!!
The Daily Beast is overreaching with that article. Beyonce slapped a silly looking wig on her head and people reacted. No one was outraged. If she had the wig on Blue Ivy then there would be outrage.

Thing is, the colours have to compliment each other for it to work so one doesn’t end up looking like the human canvas.

The street shots look like a cheap wig that doesn’t fit properly. The other shots looks like they were done with professional hair, make-up and styling assistance. Two completely different things…
