Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at last night’s event for the Elizabeth Taylor Cocktail… or something. It was an event for World AIDS Day, and we all know that Elizabeth Taylor was deeply involved with raising money for HIV/AIDS, so The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and The Abbey launched the ET Cocktail, with help from Kim and Kris Jenner. Kim has always viewed herself as the heiress to Elizabeth’s legacy of marriages, divorces, jewelry and fame. I think comparing the two women is a travesty, but whatever. In her later years, Taylor met Kim (Kim interviewed her) and they apparently got along very well.
I think Kim looks really pretty in this eggplant color. I wish she would realize that all of the layering adds weight to her body though – as much as we complain about Kim’s body-con styles, if she wore body-con clothes in her real size, she would look less heavy. Anyway, the color is nice and she doesn’t look bad at all. I’m also including pics of Kim from earlier in the day, when she and Khloe were filming at a deli in LA.
Meanwhile, did you know Kim made a USO trip to the USS San Diego, stationed in Abu Dhabi? You can see some photos of her trip here at the Daily Mail (I’m also including an IG snap below). She made the trip just before Thanksgiving, when she was partying & working in Dubai. I have no shade for her, or for any celebrity that makes the effort to do a USO trip or tour. You know the soldiers/sailors must love seeing any celebrity visit them.

It does! I’ve been noticing this in more images lately. What could it be? Did she stop a filler? Or have something done? Maybe got filler added to nose? I’m perplexed.

and as much as I think she’s a pretty useless “celebrity”, good on her for doing something nice for someone else when there’s no monetary motivation.

I thought the same thing. She looks really, really pretty in that eggplant dress. I love the draping. Sexy. Shows some skin, but isn’t obnoxious.

Yes I feel like it’s finally looking normal again. Wonder if she’s lightening up on the fillers and Botox. She was so gorgeous before she touched her face.

I think this has been going on for a while, it’s just easier to spot when she’s not wearing her hair pulled back.
No shade for what she’s doing here, hopefully for their daughter Kim has some more depth to her than she usually shows us.

I didn’t notice it until you mentioned it, but you’re right! And while it is good that she did a USO tour, I couldn’t look through pics in The Daily Mail article because it was selfie after selfie. You already have photographers there, just be present with the troops. A selfie or two is fine, but it was non-stop. Yeah, she looks gorgeous (and natural) in that picture! I thought it was an older picture, but I’m glad she’s going back to her more “original” look.

That was my first thought as well. Her face looks fantastic–much more natural and cute.
I was just noticing that Kim seems more relaxed and even (gasp!) smiling lately. Maybe not being around Kanye as much has helped? Or maybe she’s being successfully treated for depression? Something seems better.
Hmmm…I read that Kanye is away, that they haven’t been getting along, Kim is traveling on her own… She shows up looking relaxed, life-like, more appropriately attired. Time to lose Kanye as her stylist!
I think her face looks more normal in a head-on picture. But the photos from just a few days ago taken from the side had her looking like a plastic surgery/Botoxed muppet. It’s the profile that always looks goofy to me. BUT, I will give her credit for the USO show and the AIDS awareness charity.

The pictures of her visiting the troops were on Daily Mail-and it was the most animated and “sincere” I’ve ever seen her look. And while I’ll criticize her for a lot of things-I’m never going to shade her for doing work for the USO.
In the fist pic her face looks like her old self…The color of the dress is also nice.

This! If anyone I knew wore half of the outfits she does, I would be incredibly weirded out. Those pants are just plain strange – and she has TERRIBLE shoe game.
She looks so much like her original (prettiest) self. Her eyebrows are thicker and I think she’s not contoured to the crazy level she usually is. Hope she sticks with this look as well as doing some nice things for others as well.
That’s what I thought – less contouring, less wax-like as well as much less makeup. She actually looks human here.

Keep it up Kim…stop with the fillers, the botox, etc….you look so much better! (and a wee bit of color on her lip would go a LONG way in making her huge gap between her new nose and mouth not look so….odd.)

I actually like the plum/eggplant colored ensemble. I like the matte/satin combo, it drapes well, and she gets her cut-outs without it coming off as trashy. I do wish she’d give up the nude lips, though. But it seems like she rarely gets lip color “right.” It’s either nude, which washes her out, red with too much orange, or dark purple. Sigh.
This is the best that I’ve seen Kim look in a long time. Her makeup is very nice.
