Here are some photos of Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs in Miami over the weekend. Twigs was there for Art Basel – she performed a few days ago, and Sparkles was there to support her. According to E! News, he stayed backstage with some friends and “swayed” along to the music. An onlooker said: “It was adorable. He looked besotted with her and very proud.” I guess they decided to stay in Miami and soak up the sunshine and the art, because they hit up the beach on Sunday. Can you make out Twigs’ beach reading? She was carrying a book by Anaïs Nin. Twigs has name-checked Nin in interviews before, and all I can say is… Sparkles is probably enjoying himself. He’s dating a girl who reads Anaïs Nin on the beach.
Twigs recently spoke about being labeled “quirky” in the music industry or in pop culture in general. She rejects your labels!
“I was the ‘quirky androgynous girl’. If anyone ever says I’m quirky ever again, I’ll throw up on myself. I guess I just felt really disconnected from myself. You’re making someone else’s dream happen by selling yourself and them boxing you into the ‘alternative kooky dancer’ role. You just feel a bit sucked dry. I think that’s why I’m so determined in what I’m doing. It’s why I will never be made to feel uncomfortable again, because I spent so many years feeling uncomfortable. But at the same time I learnt a lot.”
However she’s all too aware her new A-list life could end with no warning.
“It’s weird, but I feel like at any moment, if you don’t keep on working hard, everything is gonna go. People say, ‘Oh, you’re selling out this venue.’ But it doesn’t really mean anything,” she mused.

I don’t know… she’s youngish. She’s 26. She’s got that millennial hyper-self-awareness thing happening, where she’s always telling you how she self-identifies or refuses to accept certain labels or whatever. Talk about something else!

It’s probably difficult not to continually look into yourself when you’re constantly being compared to the ‘norm’, especially in your 20s when you’re figuring yourself out, no matter who you are. She seems genuine in what she’s doing, it doesn’t seem like a faddish, hipster thing. Plus Rob Pattinson doesn’t subscribe to any kind of sub-culture, whereas hipsters stick together to reinforce their hipsterness.
They look cute together. I feel like Rob is much more free, happy and relaxed in this relationship. The more I look at their pictures, the more I realize what a miserable time he had with Kristen. No fun, all hiding, no PDA, always serious, always dodging questions. I think this time he’s determined to not make the same mistakes and just be himself. Good for him. She seems sweet and nice.
He is finally with a girl who feels free to express her love for him in deed and words. They hold hands in public. They smile together. Good for them both. I will never forget the time TMZ filmed Kstew telling Rob to be quite because of the cameras and his big giant smile disappeared into a frown. He wasn’t allowed to be normal with his girlfriend in public.
Some people just aren’t comfortable being affectionate in public. That doesn’t mean she didn’t love him, or that FKA loves him more.
Kristen was comfortable enough to reveal Rob liked to lick her armpits but always too shy to say truly nice words about him. How did it feel for him to hear in the interview from his girlfriend of 4 years that she didn’t need Prince Charming in her life? And here is Tahliah who easily says the nicest things about him and never shies away from showing real affection…
There’s sand and then there’s grass.. What kind of beach is this?
Typical for the Florida resorts where I’ve stayed. When they are on grass they are leaving beach, heading away from water towards resort grounds.
Ahhhh coral sand is so pretty! I’ve never had any interest whatsoever in going to Miami though. What’s wrong with me?

Yes she does sound a bit like Kristen but she is actually practicing what she preaches. She comes across as genuine. I’m not into her genre of music but it’s undeniable that she has true talent unlike Kristen.
How does she sound like kstew?Stewart pretends she’s all indie and private then she signed for $170mln SWATH with possible sequel,she’s all about her privacy and hating paps then she was caught with married director,she’s all independent but her PR team cleans her image and telling her what to do.FKA Twigs is non meanstream singer who writes and produces her music,she’s not aware of celeb culture and gossip media attention she got after she went public with Rob.When she got asked about her private life she answers politely about it without selling her privacy.She doesn’t complain despite she was personally attacked with racist comments,she’s not above other singers saying she can get everything with snap of her fingers,she’s aware that her position could easily ends.
Me too. I don’t like her music, so maybe that plays into my perception of her. I usually don’t like musicians whose perfomance outshines the song.

Does Miami ever get cold? lol seeing the pics of bundled up New Yorkers and this is such a contrast.
“Cold” is relative. It can get down into the 60s and 50s, especially in the evenings, at this time of year. We call that a “cold snap.” People start wearing hats and gloves. It’s a bit silly. But occasionally, like once every two or three years, we’ll have a day where we get below zero, for maybe an hour or two. But I grew up in Canada, so my idea of “cold” is definitely very different than that of native Floridians…
Rob looks fantastic. I love that they’ve had time to take a break at the end of her tour. Never seen pics of Rob like this before, he’s so much more relaxed these days.
These guys are so cute! I love what she’s wearing and Rob even looks pretty good (he seems a nice guy, but I usually don’t find him attractive).

He looks really good here – fit and happy. Ditching the oddball cut was definitely a good call. Sometimes I wonder if he does things like that just to see what reaction he’ll get. Given he’s known for his hair, the meltdowns were pretty entertaining.

These two are so cute together. He seems to have found someone that makes him happy. And she reads books and seems smart, i bet he loves being with someone thats artsy and intellectually curious.
For such a low-keyed and down-to-earth guy , he sure goes for pseudo-intellectual, self-absorbed poseurs. Kristen and Twigs both come across as a bit vulgar, both seem to have huge chips on their shoulders. Both think they’re way more intelligent and interesting than they actually are. If they weren’t beautiful, famous woman, no one could stand to be around them for more than five minutes. In ten years, they’re going to look back on their interviews and think, “Man, I sound like such a pretentious a-hole.”
I don’t think that Kristen was ever all that into Rob. I can respect the fact, though, that the two of them rarely spoke publicly about their relationship. People who blab on and on about how loved up they are make me suspicious. I think Rob’s new girlfriend loves the publicity boost. I’m surprised that he hasn’t run for the hills yet – he seems to value his privacy, and his girl seems to court attention.
The beaches in Miami are amazing! It’s good to see him so happy. Can’t imagine how much fun it must be to go to all those different amazing cities with your honey!
The mail had tons of pics of them cuddling at the beach the other day. Sparkles looks so sprung on her it’s quite adorable.
Ummmmm …. Hummmmm . . .What’s up with the book in front of the face? Rob’s like, out in the open, could not care less, and she is hiding. You’d think it be the other way around, considering I have never heard of FKA Twiggs, Rob has the A-List not her. LOL. I am sorry, but it’s kind of silly like.
According to someone who saw them at the beach apparently there was a redheaded girl, some say is his cousin, that was with them and when they noticed the paps they quickly stuck a hat on her head and took off walking away from her. From the looks and sounds of it Rob was trying to keep the attention on him and off his cousin.
He’s spoke before about his family / friends not asking for the attention that comes with him. I think he was just trying to keep his cousin out of the pics
