The last time we paid attention to June Shannon, she was denying on Dr. Phil that she had rekindled a relationship with an ex who was convicted of sexually abusing her daughter. June claimed to have only seen Mark McDaniel twice and to not have had a physical relationship with him despite the ample photo and anecdotal evidence to the contrary. McDaniel was just released from a ten year prison sentence for molesting June’s daughter, Anna, when Anna was just eight. In that same Dr. Phil interview, Shannon’s estranged husband, Sugar Bear, admitted that he had flirted with women on Facebook. Sugar Bear had recently moved back into the home although June said they were not staying in the same room. A report on Radar Online claimed that Sugar Bear returned because CPS was about to remove June’s children from her care unless there was another adult around to supervise them.
In the next segment to this sad trashy saga, June has accused Sugar Bear of flirting with women online. I thought that he wasn’t even with June. She gave every indication on Dr. Phil that she had rejected him and didn’t want to get back together so I don’t quite understand what her issue is.
Mama June is back on the attack against Sugar Bear, claiming he’s still on the prowl for women … lots of them.
June vented on her personal Facebook page … complaining she’s taking all the heat for dating Mark McDaniel while SB is playing the victim when actually he’s “a cheater and a big player.”She says Sugar Bear is trying to snare girls through Snapchat. She also admits she’s rifled through his phone and found concrete proof he’s on the hunt.
TMZ broke the story … Mama June claimed she broke up with SB after she found he was trolling online dating sites. But then we found out she was dating the man who served time for molesting her daughter, and everything changed.
And get this … Mama J thinks Sugar Bear is a lady killer, warning, “he has already scammed many girls on here to fell in love with them,” adding, “so baby if u think u r his one in only u r wrong big time.”
Oh so June is jealous that the guy she cheated on and doesn’t want to be with is flirting with other women. Ridiculous. Meanwhile June’s oldest daughter, Anna Cardwell, will be on Dr. Phil today to talk about the money her mother stole from her. She also says her mom is lying about her relationship with her abuser, Mark McDaniel, and that she’s very concerned for her youngest sister, Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, 9. You know, it just occurred to me that June might be looking for reasons to kick Sugar Bear out of the house so she can be with McDaniel full time. If that’s the case I hope CPS steps in immediately.

And I have to say again how concerning Alana’s continual weight gain is. None of her sisters were that big at her age. Very few children are that big at the age of nine. She’s going to have a lifetime of health and emotional problems. Plus of course the glaring fact that there’s a child molester in her home… How does June still have custody?!?
I’m always surprised at how little concern there is over that little girls weight. Her mother is not just a terrible role model for health, shes passing down her poor eating habits under the guise of body acceptance. This isnt curvy or bootilicious or bass or whatever else people call it, its just plain old fat. And fat kills.
Alana’s weight is something that bothers me too. The poor girl looks so unhealthy and uncomfortable. From the things people have said on here, it does not sound like she has a nutritious diet at all. The kids is going to have so many issues when she gets older :(.
My hubby knows I’ve been kinda tuning in to the scandal lately (never saw the show tho) & showed me a south park spoof of this little girl & her mom. It was terrible but I was trying so hard not to laugh (please don’t judge I know it’s super mean & I’m ashamed!) I hope to G-d that child will never see it but damn….just look it up is all I can say, it knocks her mom on the garbage she feeds her.
The little girl is obese. Sad. She’s going to have a lifetime of health problems, like mom June the Hutt.

Admittedly I don’t watch this show, so maybe this is a stupid question, but is the youngest child actually talented in her pageants? I thought that is what she was initially known for, but there never seems to be any news about that. Otherwise, why exactly do they have a show? There doesn’t appear to be much socially redeeming about this family. Just my $0.02.
They got a show because they stuck out on Toddlers & Tiaras. I think Honey boo boo(Alana) ,might be too old for pageants now.
She’s too old to compete with the schtick she competed with. I’m pretty sure there are pageants right through college levels. But she can’t compete with the thinner, more attractive girls that have an actual talent. She got by before I think based on her being a ‘character’, and at the lower levels, it’s not as well rehearsed, and not quite as focused on the things the older girls are scored on.
Honestly I saw a clip of hers on toddlers & tiaras & she was quite cute & very sassy. She was burning up the stage & was not nervous at all.
At this point, everyone is a mess. Alana needs to be seized and probably needs one of those intensive de-programming periods, like what they use on the Mormon fundamentalists. Give her a nice juice cleanse to detox her from all the sketti and go-go juice and then get to work on her psyche. Soon it will be too late.

This woman is full of BS. I bet she was waiting all along for that pig to be released of prison and be with him, she would still be with him if it wasn’t for that much negative press. So then she didn’t need Sugar Bear anymore but was forced to take him back to keep her kids, and now she’s all like ‘They’re all blaming me for dating a molester but he cheated on me online!’.

Part of me wants to say “I told you so” to all the people who defended this family and their ridiculous show by protesting, “But they LUV each other so much! They’re better than the Kardashians because they’re so genuine and really seem to care about each other!” But this situation is just too sad to gloat.
I don’t know whether to refer to him as “Sugar,” or “Mr. Bear,” but unless his internet groupies have repeatedly molested his children, this waste of flesh calling itself “Mama June” needs to STFU and take ALL the seats. And why does she always look like she just smelled a fart?
Did any one watch dr Phil today? June emptied Anna’s savings leaving her only $17….in order to buy McDaniel that car. Can you imagine? Your mom stealing your money to buy your molester a car!?!?! O.o
