For years now, Mariah Carey makes it a point to spend the Christmas holiday in Aspen. When Mariah was with Nick, they would go to Aspen together and inevitably there would be hilarious photos of a scantily-clad Mariah surrounded by snow banks while Nick was bundled up and looking embarrassed. There was some gossip that Mariah invited Nick to spend this Christmas in Aspen with her and Dem Babies, but the Daily Mail says Nick didn’t come. So Mariah had to put on a solo show in Aspen – these are photos of Mariah at the Louis Vuitton shop.
Fame/Flynet notes that Mariah was in such a good mood, she deigned to pose for some photos with some fans waiting outside Louis Vuitton. Hand to God, I thought that one blonde woman was Brooke Mueller. RIGHT?! But no. Anyway, it looks like Mariah is wearing/carrying some of her new LV purchases out of the store. That bag is… nice. I mean, I wouldn’t carry it, but I’m sure it appeals to those rich ladies who spend the holidays in Aspen. I also think it’s cute that Mariah is basically about to fall over in her high-heel boots. Her bodyguard is probably on high alert because Mariah wanted to walk in her boots for the ten feet to the car. That’s a disaster waiting to happen.
And in case you’re worried about Mariah’s Christmas, don’t be. She bought herself a ton of Louis Vuitton crap and she spent Christmas day with Santa and some real reindeer. Don’t believe me? Check out her Instagram.

Every time I see a picture of her, I feel the elevator just does not go to the top floor anymore …she always has this vacant “lights are all on but no one is home” smile on her face, sad..
I agree, and I think that Cannon was much more well equipped to handle the split than she was…I know she had issues a few years back and I hope she has a therapist who she can talk to.
her life strikes me as such a lonely existence…she doesn’t seem to have many friends to hang out with.
In order to have friends you have to care and think about other people. Mariah has insulated herself so much for so long she seems utterly incapable of being interested in anyone other than herself.

She has the ‘girls’ tucked away beautifully. The cut of her dress is classic and absolutely gorgeous. I want her white dress.
Although I really love Mariah, I’ve never taken much to her dressing style. At least here, she has the girls covered up. She’s a fabulous talented singer. I’m sorry she and Nick split up, but it was bound to happen. She’s having a bit of a rocky road right now, so I’m hoping she mellows out in time and can reapproach her career and her life in a way that works for her. We really don’t need the Diva attitude or attire–we just want the real Mariah and some awesome new songs to bring her to the forefront again.

it was very sad to watch.
once someone suffers such a trauma, i don’t think their personality and emotional state are ever the same.
she’s an incredibly talented woman who has released such beautiful music that will probably be around forever…

If you’re personally unhappy, all the money in the world can’t make things better. I hope she gets her life straight.
It must be nice to be rich and live in a land of delusion. unfortunately for us poor folks, we have to deal with reality and not live in hello kitty land. somebody needs to get mariah help. she obviously has psychological issues.

I was disapointed she didn’t bring a few of her jack russels to LV. Usually get some cute shots of them in Aspen, but maybe she was too drunk to hold their leashes properly.
