Two Iggy Azalea posts in one day! I’m almost certain this will never happen again (aome of you may be relieved). Iggy won Favorite Hip-Hop Artist at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. This is what the people wanted, and it completely proves Macklemore’s point about how kids will grow up thinking Iggy is a real rapper. She beat out Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, her mentor T.I. and Drake. Nicki is currently losing it a little on Twitter by sarcastically retweeting Iggy fans. That should have some interesting fallout.
Iggy didn’t walk the red carpet, but she performed “Beg For It”. She also flirted a little with Dax Shepard (he looks “much, much better in person“) as she accepted her award. Here’s Iggy’s acceptance speech where she says the award is “not wasted on me.”
Some fashion:
Katherine McPhee wore a Balmain “dress” that was really a striped skirt and a halter top with cut-out detail. Her body is amazing, and I’m glad she went back to brunette.
Gabrielle Union wore a magenta colored Honor gown. I like the color of this dress, but the tailoring is somehow off. Perhaps it would have been better if it ended mid-calf.
Olivia Munn wore a Giambattista Valli couture top and skirt. This would have been cute at a screening. I’m not sure if she purposely matched the shine of the striped sequins to her shiny forehead? That’s not a cheap shot, it’s a real question. She still looks gorgeous, and I appreciate that she’s not pulling the vampy vibe for once.
Giuliana Rancic‘s Tony Ward dress was a little out of place at this event. This would have been a cute Globes dress, but the sea-foam green is a bit too cutesey for People’s Choice.
Bella Thorne killed it in a great Armani suit. She nailed the styling. I’m also including photos of Patricia Arguette and Monica Potter in basic black outfits.

@QQ What bugs me about this is the media and these award shows calling Iggy a hip hop artist when her bubble gum rap is not played on Hip Hop stations. I don’t hear Iggy’s music on Hot 97 or Power 105.1 here in NY. You mainly hear her on pop stations such as Z100 or KTU 103.5. How can you be classified as a hip hop artist when the hip hop stations don’t play your music?
EXACTLY!!! V4!!, even Industry people have been derisive of the ” Fake DJ Mustard Beat” in Fancy !! LOL They were like we all thought “well Maybe DJ Mustard Made the beat but felt embarrassed and didn’t cop to it so as to not shine a light??…not only everything you said but she also doesn’t even figure out in any “Bests” of the year editorial situations like Pitchfork, Rolling stone, music critics etc, so how can she be Best Anything, insofar so as to even get a freaking Nom to begin with?? UGH! so You know a contingent of teenyboppers and folks that vote in American Idol made this pick happen YUCK!
No for Iggy and I am out of words for how skelital Rancic looks. If the camera adds ten pounds then the must be something keep her on the ground to keep her from floating away.

Y’all know the People’s Chose Awards don’t mean anything, right? Celebs go on Twitter asking their followers to vote for them and they do. That’s all. See Chloe Grace Moritz (sp?) winning best actress in a drama. They mean someone has a lot of followers on Twitter.
It’s the People’s Choice awards, not best this or that awards. A lot of teens vote. It’s just a popularity award. So I don’t really care.
Katharine McPhee does indeed have a killer body but I do think that outfit looks rather cheap. Balmain may be one of the most expensive brands out there and there supposedly high-fashion but their clothes always look a bit ridiculous to me.

What happened to Bella Thorne’s face? Her suit looks amazing, but she doesn’t look like the same person. I hope these are just unflattering pictures and she didn’t mess with her looks.
