I kind of don’t even have words for how much I love Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger. At the Golden Globes last night, Diane actually had the rare opportunity to go to an event just to support Joshua, and when The Affair won Best TV Drama, the look on her face was amazing. She was SO surprised and SO happy for Joshua. It was so sweet. I could watch them smiling at each other for hours. As a couple, they are one of my favorites.
They were also one of the best-dressed couples of the night, if not THE best. Diane wore this Emilia Wickstead gown which was FLAWLESS. I don’t know if you saw this live on E!’s red carpet, but it was beautifully tailored and it fit her perfectly. It moved beautifully. It shimmered. She looked gorgeous. Diane always styles beautifully too – her hair and makeup were perfection, and her Kwiat jewels perfectly suited the gown. Emilia Wickstead is an English designer getting more and more attention these days because Duchess Kate has worn several Wickstead designs in recent years. I would love to see Kate in one of these amazing Wickstead gowns.
Diane also carried a “Je Suis Charlie” sign. Diane and Joshua actually split their time between America, Canada and France. Diane owns an apartment in Paris and she always talks about how much she and Joshua love spending their downtime in Paris.
I’m also including photos of Joshua’s costar in The Affair (she’s his on-screen wife) Ruth Wilson. Ruth won! Which is exciting for her. She wore this green Prada which I hated on stage on at the Globes, but looks pretty in still photos.

I love Ruth Wilson, she has a badass attitude (watch Luthor with Idris Elba) but this dress?? What happened?

I missed the first season and a half, so decided to wait for it to start again to watch from the beginning. Her and Idris in one show? Oh gods yes.

Ruth Wilson is great in The Affair. She deserved to win.
I love them both, such a great couple. He killed it in Fringe (still one of my favourite shows ever) and she can be very elegant when she wants to. That dress was great, but… The fit underarm is weird. And I would have liked a lower cut in front, nothing JLo crazy, just not so severe. The bodice fit great and the train was gorgeous, and that shimmer! And finally here is a woman who can bloody accessorize! That is how it’s done!
I second you on accessorizing–her metallic, checkerboard purse is EVERYTHING!
She spends time in Paris hence her accessorizing perhaps. She is beautiful but I can’t watch the US version of the Bridge… nope

But she was lovely, as usual.

Her shimmer is nice, but Reese W’s shimmer was the best.
Reese’s was drop dead gorgeous, Diane’s is super though. Georgeous frocks too on amy Adams, Juliane, Naomi watts, Lupita, Emily blunt, Jessica Lange, Catherine zeta jones, Salma and others.
I know – so many great looks, not too many real disasters. A little boring but a decent mix of dresses.
Shimmers are my favorite! 😀 I like both Reese’s and Diane’s a lot.
As a kid I had a bathing suit that looked like Ruth Wilson’s dress – same exact colors, with stripes at the top and then a diagonal set of stripes… so… her dress gave me nostalgia. But, I think it may have worked better as a 4 year old’s bathing suit than it does as a dress.

They looked perfect. That gown is a dream. Kinda ashamed to admit it but I always get Joshua and Naomi Watts’s husband mixed-up, for some reason! And they don’t even look alike!!

And Watts and Schreiber were there too, looking gorgeous together too.
One of my favorite couples was William H.Macy and Felicity Huffman. Not necessarily from a fashion point of view. I just adore them
I thought Naomi and Liev were one of the best dressed of the night! That necklace NW had on was the bomb…I never thought Diane Kruger was beautiful, pretty, but nothing special. I remember when she was cast as Helen in Troy and thinking….Helen of Troy was supposed to be devastatingly gorgeous, and this chick is not that! Wouldn’t it have been awesome if Angie played Helen to Brad’s Troy? They probably would have gotten together sooner!
I have the same problem!!! I don’t know why because in the end they are pretty different…well at least I’m not alone in this weird mixing…(maybe because I didn’t watch Dawson’s Creek so I don’t have him so much in mind and for some reason I always think Naomi is also German?? I don’t know!)
Naomi is Australian and besties with Kidman. Diane is German.
I know @Irm that’s why I was saying “I always think she is…” and then I remember that she is Naomi and she’s not German. Err..maybe I just wrote it in a confusing way anyway 😉
I never watched much of Dawson’s Creek so I’m not one of those “OMG Pacey Witter” types and I haven’t really followed her career super closely either. But having said that, there is something about them I find really appealing. They just look really fabulous. Elegant but with just enough flaws to be approachable if that makes sense. I like the beard on him. It covers the baby face and gives his eyes so much intensity. And she’s just stunning – icy blonde but warm. Not stick thin. The dress is gorgeous and the accessories make it

Th diagonal stripes are distracting. They should have left those off. I like the dress otherwise. Kruger’s dress is pretty.
i know that it is often Charlize Theron compared to Princess Charlene, but Diane Kruger should totally play her in a future Biopic.

I liked The SHAPE of Both dresses But the Fabrics.. OOF!! One looks like fancy Aluminum Foil the other one like Home Ec Gone Wrong.. far too daytime for Globes
