I was somewhat disappointed by the man situation at last night’s Critics Choice Awards. But I think that’s just because Benedict Cumberbatch wasn’t there! Just as well, he didn’t win anything and he’s probably tired of flying back and forth from London to LA. So Cumberbatch’s absence is everyone else’s gain. Here is your post for the hot guys of the Critics Choice.
A lot of people didn’t even show up, which… I mean, it’s just the Critics Choice. JK Simmons won and he wasn’t there (he was working). But Michael Keaton was there, just in time to win two major Best Actor Awards. And Kevin (or Kenisha, as my iPad calls him) Costner was there to talk everybody’s ear off (I’m not including photos of Costner because I’ve had ENOUGH of his words to last me a lifetime).
So, I’m including photos of David Oyelowo (so handsome), Garrett Hedlund (yes), Miyavi (Capri pants?), Michael Keaton (I think he needs to check the fit on his suits), Chris Hemsworth (boring), Ethan Hawke (hand to God, he’s my favorite out of this group), Ben Kingsley (he had a why-am-I-here face the whole time), Eddie Redmayne (#BestDressed) and Common (DOUBLE YES). My choice is ALWAYS Redmayne. And even though I was initially disappointed that his suit is pretty standard compared to the colors and patterns and velvet that he usually likes to break out, he still looks amazing.
Lol yeah he does like his colour suits. Just learned he;s colour-blind, it really surprised me because of this. He’s always dressed so well.

I LOVED the suit that David Oyelowo wore to the GG’s (??)..it was sparkly and blue, and WOW. Guys never take any risks it seems. He was awesome. It looked great with his skin tone too.
That suit was amazing. It’s true, so many men just go for the plain black tux, and David Oyelowo really stepped up. I love when men make unusual choices like that for these big events, and he looked so good.

Actually I believe David O has moved to LA with his family a while ago from an interview I read. I wish he was winning stuff really annoys me I just can’t be bothered now (: Redmayne looks good but Keaton can work a suit I swear. They just fit so well great tailoring.
He moved to LA after his stint in Spooks. That’s more than 5yrs ago now.

Chris Hemsworth and Common are a big ol yes. I know people will yell at me, but Eddie Redmayne ALWAYS looks constipated to me. I want to see Jamie Lee Curtis hand him some Activia on the next red carpet.

Keaton’s already great but his speeches are really on point. Loving him and everything he says. Also loving Redmayne’s style. Two really great actors in the forefront. Almost washes away the disappointment of Bradley Cooper’s nomination over Jake and David.

Hi Esmom! This is my first post(longtime lurker) but I had to clear Eddie’s name! It seems to be false story from a satiric website. The one I read said it was Eddie Van Halen who has the perfume and clothing line, not this Eddie.
I promise I’m not some Redmayne superfan, but the thought that he had a clothing line called that made me laugh and I looked it up. Now you don’t have to be sad any more. 🙂
