Based on the comments/tweets shown in that article, i think one can deduce that a lot of the people chiding “liberal Hollywood” for not awarding American Sniper the top award are… conservatives.
I think highlighting quotations by Sean Hannity and Donald Trump makes it clear what class of “conservatism” is being mocked there.

I thought there would be a “men of the Oscars” post or maybe I missed it? There were a couple who stepped out of the basic-black mode, like Eddie Redmayne, David Oyelowo, Adrian Brody, Common, and of course Jared Leto’s DJ-at-the-trailer-park-wedding ensemble.
