Is it wrong to think that Kim Kardashian actually looks very voluptuous and sexy in these photos? Don’t say it, I know it’s wrong. These are photos of Kim and Kanye West out and about in London last night. Kim was in the South of France for most of this week, and she must have flown to England on Thursday to meet up with Kanye. He looks thrilled, doesn’t he? You’ve got to remember, not smiling makes him smile. The more morose and depressed he looks, the happier he is. Or something. Kim and Ye’s body language is totally off in these photos, right? Then again, they’re generally not the most affectionate couple. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Kanye wasn’t even a big fan of holding hands.
Meanwhile, while Kim was in Cannes with her mom, they might have disrespected two women. Maybe. Sort of? The story is sort of complicated. Two women, wives of “the two men who inspired the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge” tried to speak to Kim while Kim and Kris Jenner were shopping. The women claim Kris was outwardly rude to them and that Kim refused to take a photo with them. The women told their story on Facebook. But TMZ got Kim’s side of the story, of course.
Kim Kardashian is calling BS on a story told by the wives of the 2 men who inspired the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — claiming she was being uncaring and snobby. Eyewitnesses who were with Kim tell TMZ … Kim insists the incident, which one of the women chronicled on Facebook, did not go down the way they said.
The women claim they saw Kim and Kris Jenner in Celine — a fancy schmancy women’s store — and asked for a pic with Kim, after explaining who they were. They say when they told Kris their husbands had ALS, Kris fliply responded, “Oh fun,” and Kim and Kris blew the women off by refusing a photo.
But we’re told a group of women hounded Kim and some even knocked on her dressing room while she was naked. Sources say when Kim came out Kris was talking to a couple of ladies and they told her they were in Cannes and were having a great time shopping and going to parties, and that’s when Kris replied, “Oh fun.”
As for denying a pic, the eyewitnesses claim neither of the women asked Kim for a photo when she walked out of the dressing room. She simply exited and smiled for all the cameras pointed in her direction. Our sources say, Kim and her mom obviously support the cause … as you know Kim famously did the challenge on TV, and if Kim knew the women were even there, she would have loved to sit down with them and talk about how she could help.
What’s the truth? I have no idea. I think it’s perfectly possible that Kris would have been glib with these women, perhaps even disbelieving of their stories. I also think that it’s perfectly possible that Kim would have stopped and given these women – and anyone else – a photo, because that’s who she is. She loves the camera. Why wouldn’t she pose for photos? So if she didn’t pose for photos, she probably wasn’t asked. I don’t know. Seems like a little misunderstanding probably got blown out of proportion.

No, she’s normally seen as very nice and accommodating to her fans. That being said, she is pregnant, and she has complained about being uncomfortable and feeling sick during this pregnancy. Not only that, but she’s trying on clothes while pregnant – I personally get upset when I try on clothes in general, I couldn’t imagine doing it while sporting any sized bump and being bloated. It might be a combination of both stories – the ladies probably blowing things out of proportion, but also Kim and Kris could have been less than friendly.

I have sympathy for the women but do they walk around telling people their husband have ALS? That is not clear. Why should anyone take a picture with someone just because of their circumstances? Yes it would be nice but not mandatory.

If Kim took part in the ALS challenge, it would be reasonable for the women to assume she would be interested. They weren’t random women with husbands having ALS – their husbands were the inspiration for the ALS Icebucket Challenge. I find it hard to believe they would lie about the encounter, no point to it.
Kris might have been the real turnoff, though. Kim may not have understood what they were talking about. She may not instantly recognize the term ALS, for instance. She isn’t very deep and just follows instructions, which I imagine she did with the challenge. She may not know much, if anything, about the disease. If Kim was with Demon Mother, she would very likely have just waited for instructions. If Kris said no, I doubt that Kim would have reversed the decision. Not out of malice, but because of the way the dynamic goes. Kris is her manager.

I seem to remember it either had a different name here in Oz, because the condition might have another name or funds were directed to another cause. I also know that some of those people didn’t have a clue what the challenge was about. They did it because, well, they’re up for anything. Since they’re fairly bright people, I’m willing to bet KK has/had no idea.

Lillian Glass, the celeb body language guru, mentioned once that Kim and Kanye’s body language in pics and videos did not show closeness and affection. I think this was back in the months after Kim filed for divorce from her second husband, long before Kim and Kanye married. But the body language between Kanye and Amber Rose was a whole different story- Glass said it showed a clear connection and considerable affection for each other. Likewise Kim and Reggie in an earlier period before they started drifting apart.
These pics seem to show the same lack of connection as always. Kim sometimes reaches out to him but he seems oblivious to her presence. When space permits, they tend to diverge when walking together rather than converge, as is more typical for couples really enjoying each other’s company. Men are usually especially protective when their partner is pregnant, but we don’t see that with Kanye.

I m sure we all remember photos of when she was pregnant with North, and how he was pictured strutting ahead of her as they exited buildings, not waiting or holding the door open for her, or how he couldn’t even be arsed opening the car door for her. Even on the red carpet he doesn’t hold her hand or put his arm around her like most other partners do to their lady. Yet, just a couple of weeks ago, we were marvelling at their beautiful (and some cringey) wedding photos. Eh, I can’t work them out.
The way I heard this story was these women were in Cannes because they were being honored for raising so much money for ALS. It is said they introduced themselves to Kim and Kris and asked for a picture much like the KarTrashes do to those more famous and were rebuffed. Since I don’t know these women I tend to believe them over known liars like the KarTrashes. But that’s just me.
Dawn, I’m with you. I’m not sure why the K’s keep getting soft understanding passes here lately, unless it is to prompt our discussion. The K family is certainly known for twisting a tale. Doesn’t mean they are always toying with the truth, obviously, but I am not seeing a reason for these ALS workers to make a story up, so I tend to believe them versus Satan’s tonguebath and her daughter.

I don’t care for Kim or Kris but it’s their right to no have pics taken if they don’t want to. These two women have obviously interrupted them, tried to engage, tried for a photo and then bitched about it online when they didn’t get what they wanted.
How rude! Of both parties the ALS ladies are the ones who need to learn some manners.
The question to ask is how Kim typically reacts to photo requests when she’s not at a planned event (such as when she’s out shopping). She’s always up for pap shots. Does she routinely take fan photos in such circumstances? Or does she routinely refuse?
My guess is that neither Demon Mother nor Kim understood who the women were and why they should care, though. ALS probably meant nothing to either of them despite Kim’s participation in the ALS challenge. So the conflicting tale they are spinning is just to cover up their mistake. Kim and Demon Mother wouldn’t pass up an opportunity for free publicity, which is what they were being offered. The pics would have ended up distributed to a broader audience than friends and family.
Smart move now I think of it.

This reminds me of when Kim blatantly ignored (and was very rude) to the daughter of the owner of Top Shop and got put on blast. Of course she denied it but multiple sources who witnessed said it happened. Kim didn’t want to be bothered with her because she thought she was just some random. What made it worse was this was right around the time Kim was there to advertise her collection. So YES I do believe Kim can be a nasty piece of work. They just make sure the media is saturated with stories of kim being so sweet and kind.
Tifygodess- your story supports my speculation. If Kris and Kim thought these two women were random fans, maybe they really wouldn’t give them the time of day. Kim is so vicious with her own siblings when they cross her (remember that scene when she was angry with Kourtney for not joining in with the video game?), it’s not hard to believe that she is very selective about her nice behavior with others. As much as it pains me to side with Kris/Kim, I can’t believe this story. No way would Kris say “how fun” to someone about ALS. Sounds like these ladies twisted up a story to make it dramatic and negative.
But why? We do know Kris and Kim routinely lie. But most people, especially in these women’s positions, don’t. I think they really did have a negative experience, although I suspect Kris and Kim were just clueless rather than malicious. Does anyone else think her hair extensions are oddly placed? The back of her head looks like there are some extensions missing.
It’s that her thighs don’t match the rest of her body at all, I think… Lots of women are pear shaped with huge butts, some have unproportionally tiny waists too, and look great. But their thighs always match their butt! Hers are WAY too thin and straight, so she looks like she’s wearing a diaper all the time.
If that first story is true, then it sounds like they were trying to use their husband’s illness to garner sympathy in order to get a picture, which imo is way worse.

Kim participated in the ALS Icebucket Challenge. Their husbands were the inspiration for it. Apparently they (the wives) have been involved in fundraising. Seems reasonable that they would introduce themselves and ask for a pic. Would have been good publicity for all concerned.
The only problem was that Kris and Kim didn’t remember or know anything about ALS or the background of the event. It had been just another photo op for them.
Off topic, but I cannot understand WHY, when pregnant, she is wearing skin tight layer after layer AND a freakin belt! Especially with nausea. Not only is she making herself ridiculously uncomfortable, more importantly she is potentially restricting proper blood flow to the fetus! SHE PISSES ME OFF.
She did the same thing last time and complained the whole time that she was miserable. If she really had the morning sickness she says she has, she would not be flying all over the place.
