Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt & Amy Schumer had a sleepover: cute or dumb?

As many people are aware, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are fast friends who do bikini time together. They’re working on a joint comedy screenplay, but they may not get much work done because of their piano-dancing diversions. I imagine they get much more laughing than writing done every time they’re in the same city.

JLaw and Chris Pratt are now filming the non-disaster (yet) Passengers together in Atlanta, and worlds have collided. Amy and Aziz Ansari were both in town for the weekend’s Oddball Comedy Festival, so all four decided to be silly for Instagram. They allegedly had a massive sleepover party together. Can you imagine? In the above video, Pratt and Aziz made a 15-second short film called “hi guys.” JLaw directed this masterpiece. Yes, it’s kind of dumb, but I’m pretty sure alcohol was involved.

Here’s another video of what happens when JLaw wakes up Amy. JLaw needs to get her own Instagram account, but she’d rather make cameo appearances on everyone else’s. These four are cute together, which is also the perfect combination leading towards cute overload and into obnoxiousness. And I still haven’t forgiven Jennifer for refusing to wash her hands after using the toilet (or sink). Work harder, JLaw!

This morning @azizansari and Jen woke up an angel #sleepmanager

Fine, they hang out and are working together but the incessant need to show off ‘LOOK AT US WE ARE SQUAD GOALS AND WE KNOW YOU WANT IN OUR GANG’ is obnoxious. I give jlaw points for staying off of social media but i actually think if she was on it she would turn so many people off of her. Her brand of humor gets old, fast!

    • Genie G says:

Speaking personally, her humour doesn’t grate with me at all – I think she’s genuinely witty, and the clip of Aziz on the swing is nicely absurd.

      • Naya says:

Yep, fun goofballs. Dont overthink it people.

      • Louise says:

        People have different taste

      • Theodore says:

        witty???

      • Bae says:

She’s goofy, not witty. You need to be smart to be witty.

      • Jbap says:

Lawrence isn’t stupid. Read her interviews, watch her acting, read interviews with her co-stars. And yes, she is witty: go look up her interview with Jon Stewart a few years ago if you don’t believe me.

      • Bae says:

I’ve seen her interviews, she didn’t come off as particularly stupid, but she didn’t seem smart either.

      • Jib says:

Witty?? Witty comes from “wit,” which means intelligent. As in, “My wit is short, as you can understand,” in a famous piece of medieval British literature. I don’t know that this if the first time it was used, but it is the first reference I remember. 1300s.

JLo is loud, crass, a big showoff, seems to drink WAY too much, looks bloated, (probably from drinking,) and has bathroom humor. Even literal bathroom humor. She is hardly witty.

    • Genie G says:

Yes, witty. Just look at her TV interviews, or the speech she gave last year at the PGA awards: she has a very good line in off-the-cuff responses that lots of other celebrities can’t manage.

    • Alex says:

I’m a fan of Jen’s but I’m really over this Jen/Amy crap. Seriously every interview Amy has given she slips in a Jen quote. She plasters her all over IG which is something none of Jen’s other friends (even famous ones like Taylor Swift) does. Then Amy decided to make it the media’s fault for their friendship being everywhere…like no I’m sure the 25 interviews you’ve done bringing her up did that.

It’s annoying and I’m over the blatant PR aspect of it. By the time their movie comes out I’ll be so sick of them I won’t see it

    • Former Fan says:

Problem that her wittiness is kind of ignorant, rude, partly dumb, often offensive and sometimes incredibly annoying. I personally come from being the biggest fan to somebody who cant stant for being phony, crass, entitled, self centered attention seeker and its surprise me why people didnt recognize all her media manipulations. And this friendship with Amy – totally one more PR schtick in her playbook. Lets be honest – at the moment nobody in Hollywood PLAY THE GAME more than Lawrence, she is kind of trailblazer at it.

    • Jib says:

Right?? Why do we need to know who you have a sleepover with??

And I officially think Amy and JLo are both disgusting and I wouldn’t want to get within ten feet of either of them. Gross.

  2. susie says:

sorry. there’s no way my husband can have a “grown up” sleep over with anyone. Get a G-D hotel room!

    • Sunsetsnow says:

It’s a little much. Anna, you better come and get your husband.

    • Bee says:

I don’t think Pratt was in on the sleepover. He’s not in the video waking up Amy’s sister. There are also pap photos of Amy, her sister, Jennifer and Aziz walking Jennifer’s dog in their pjs. Chris isn’t there.

    • bettyrose says:

MTE!! This is college dorm behavior. Grow up.

    • Nayru says:

In my late twenties as a graduate student I always stayed with my old college friends when I go to visit them. I couldn’t exactly afford a hotel then, can’t really now. I wouldn’t call them sleep-overs. Hotels are a luxury form most working class, poor, students, or other people I believe.

      • susie says:

they are NOT working class, poor students. however, there’s plenty of hotels that are reasonably priced. and finally, if I can’t afford my entire vacation, trip, or otherwise endeavor, then we are not going. I don’t think that’s fair to inconvenience anybody else.

      • Nayru says:

If my friends asked to visit me and to stay at my place, I would not consider it an inconvenience. It would be a fun night of games, take out, or netflix. I just don’t think many people, particularly people with little money like students, think that want. Many people can’t afford it, and its more fun then you can stay up late spending time together without having to cut it short because you have to drive back to the hotel.

      • bettyrose says:

        Nayru –
In my twenties, we used to have co-ed “sleep overs.” There was alcohol, games, sexual tension, it was a blast. Emphasis on sexual tension. Once you settle down into a marriage, it’s a little weird to be doing that without your spouse.

Couch surfing is a different issues, but that kinda suggests that all you’re doing is crashing on someone’s couch, no party games involved.

Also, youth hostels. Not just for Europe.

    • LA Juice says:

this is what I was thinking! Isn’t Pratt a father? wtf?

  3. Nancy says:

I’m making a sharp turn towards the exit sign. I was one of Amy’s biggest fans, but she’s getting annoying. Darn internet, your best friend and worst enemy.

  4. Genie G says:

I’m always amused at the desperate need that some people have to hate on J-Law. I don’t understand the motivation – she’s young, obviously talented and funny, is there something in that particular combination that annoys some people?

These are amusing and harmless videos shoved up on Instagram by Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer to entertain their fanbase. There’s nothing annoying about them – no one is forcing anyone to watch them. To me, it speaks positively to J-Law’s character that she’s hanging out and working with genuinely talented comedians.

    • Louise says:

Everyone has different tastes, Genie – and who is ‘hating’ on her?

      • Josefa says:

A lot of the comments in JLaw articles are a lot more than simply disliking her. Come on. Everyone with rabid fans also has rabid haters. Both of them lurk around here.

    • lurker says:

“I don’t understand the motivation – she’s young, obviously talented and funny, is there something in that particular combination that annoys some people?”

I feel like people who are annoyed by her usually make pretty clear what their problem with her is?

As Louise said, everyone has different tastes. You say there’s nothing annoying and other people say there is. Just because you aren’t annoyed by something doesn’t mean your opinion or experience is objectively right and everyone else is just a hater.

I also don’t know how hanging out with a talented comedian speaks to JLaw’s character? But ok then.

      • Genie G says:

I’m just struck by some of the vitriol directed at J-Law, and how (IMHO) it’s out of all proportion to any of her alleged misdeeds. I’m also curious as to why some people seem to react so badly to some of her throwaway jokes. Of course, everyone’s opinion is subjective, and not everyone annoyed by her is a hater. Some of what she says can bug me: her hand-washing comments were obviously a joke and not to be taken seriously (do people really believe she doesn’t wash her hands?!), but nevertheless were a bit gross. But, frankly – and it’s only my personal opinion – I think some people have it in for her because she’s not sufficiently decorous and bland for their tastes.

      • lurker says:

        @Genie G

That’s fair! I haven’t noticed vitriol, but I don’t doubt it’s out there or doubt that a lot of people dislike her out of some sort of sexism/misogyny. That seems to be the case with any famous woman who is disliked.

Honestly though, for me, a lot of the ignorant things she has said make me feel like she would bug the hell out of me if I knew her in real life. Plus I hate rudeness and the peeing in the sink seems so rude to me. Additionally, she said she hated shy people a while back, and I’m not gonna lie: as a shy person, hearing that kind of thing kind of stings and doesn’t really endear me to the person saying it. hah

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

She gets on my nerves. She is coarse, vulgar and loud. She’s immature, she talks about farting too much and yes, I completely believe she doesn’t wash her hands, because I don’t think she has basic common sense or a decent upbringing, and I don’t think she was joking. She’s famous, so I have to hear about her 12 year old boy behavior and I’m supposed to think it’s “down to earth.” It’s not cute to me. I don’t hate her at all. I have no emotion towards her unless you consider eye rolling an emotion.

What I don’t understand is why you think people have a “desperate need” to “hate” her? Why is it that when a fan worships a famous person, and other people don’t share that adoration, the mega fans always turn it into an “amusing” need of jellie haters to find fault because the person is SO talented, beautiful and wonderful that anyone who doesn’t worship them must be jealous? You like her. I don’t. You might like coconut. I don’t. I’m not jealous of coconut, you needn’t be fake amused at my desperate need to find fault with coconut just because coconut is so well liked. It’s just a preference.

      • Genie G says:

Sure, I understand that some people’s dislike of her is just a preference. However, when Goodnamesalltaken (nice handle!) and others claim she’s lacking ‘basic common sense’ or a ‘decent upbringing’ when there’s reams of evidence pointing to the fact that she’s smart, well-liked by the people who actually work with her, and often very nuanced in interview responses, then I think it’s perfectly okay for me to raise an eyebrow at what I see as a dramatic overreaction to the occasional one-liner. I’m not one of her fanatical worshippers: I get that some people can find her annoying, and some of her media hype is over the top. But I think some of the negative comments she receives online are just ridiculous.

@lurker – I’ve seen the interview where she says she hates shy people, and it’s pretty clear to me that she’s joking

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

True, the amount of vitriol on line directed at anyone and everything these days is over the top. People invest so much emotion in this trivial stuff, it’s really sad. Says the woman who spends two hours a day on Celebitchy. I just don’t get the mega fans – sorry I thought you were one when you are obviously not.

      • jinni says:

@Goodnamesalltaken: Yes, yes yes! Everything you said was exactly how I feel about her.

@Genie G: As for vitriol. Ha! You think that this is vitriol? Go into those Brange/ Aniston threads or KStew threads and you’ll see real vitriol. Most people who don’t like JLaw simply find her annoying, exhausting, or eye-roll worthy. I think that her fans just can’t deal that the time when everyone universally thought everything she did was so cute, awe inspiring, and praised has past and some people are now aware and over her schtick.

      • Genie G says:

So a comment that she ‘lacks a decent upbringing’ isn’t vitriol? Maybe you’re right: by Celebitchy standards, that may be fairly tame. But I still think – in my purely subjective opinion, of course – that some of the attacks she attracts stem from an absurd overreaction to a few jokes. And I’m always amused when her detractors claim to have seen through her, and be more ‘aware’ than the common herd of her fans – in my view, their reasons for dismissing her are really tenuous.

      • Bae says:

I think it’s equally strange when people describe saying that she’s a vastly overrated actress and lacks manners ( my opinion) as insane “hating”.

    • K says:

Nobody has a desperate need to hate on her. I find her thirsty and mildly talented but the first video with the guys was cute.

That being said Jennifer Lawrence by her own admission of not washing her hands is a disgusting horrible selfish human being. She doesn’t care about the health and well being of society or those around her and she frankly since that fun admission the sight of her physically sickens me. Which for the record is true about anyone who doesn’t was their hands has nothing to do with Lawrence it’s a not washing your hands thing.

Also Genie you’re quick to just write off the disrespectful things she says as jokes and maybe they are but here is the reality that you and j law need to deal with people have emotions and feelings and convictions. So if you say things that hurt those even as a joke it can damage you and you reputation.

      • Jbap says:

I would have thought that calling someone a ‘disgusting horrible selfish human being’ for a throwaway joke about washing her hands is the very definition of hating on Jennifer Lawrence.

      • KB says:

I used to work in a large shoe store with a public bathroom and I can promise you, a lot of people got nothing on J.Law. Like 10 minutes in there and they can’t stop for 30 seconds to wash their hands afterwards.

      • Blackcat says:

I don’t think K is using ‘disgusting horrible selfish human being’ as a “throwaway joke.” I agree with K. Urinating in a public sink, by choice, illustrates she has no regard for the other people who will use the sink and the employee who has to clean it up. Plus she relishes the fact that she doesn’t wash her hands after going to the bathroom is the epitome of someone who is horribly selfish and disgusting. Add to that sticking her fingers in Hemsworth face and asking if it smells like his mother??!!! Seriously, who thinks of that much less does that?
JLaw gets on my last nerve with her continuous desperate attempts to be REAL–stars are just like us bit.

I don’t buy it. I agree with GNAT.

      • K says:

@jbap you just assume it’s a joke because you want it to be but multiple co stars confirmed its true. She wasn’t joking when she said it and if she was it didn’t appear so and not washing your hands after you use the bathroom is a huge public health risks so yes since co stars confirmed her not joking that makes her a horrible selish disgusting human being. If she can’t care enough about the health of the public at large to simply was her hands then she is despicable this isn’t asking her to give up her career and do research or cut out an organ it’s wash her hands. Not hard!

    • KB says:

People are really determined to convince you they don’t hate her they JUST. CAN’T. STAND. HER. lol

    • Jib says:

How is that video with the “Hi, Guys!” over and over even remotely funny? Really? People think that’s funny??

Chris Rock is funny. Monty Python is funny. The movie Airplane is funny. Tina Fey is funny. This clip funny?? I get that people have different tastes, but could someone explain the humor to me??

  5. TreadStyle says:

I like how if it involves Jennifer but she’s not in the actual picture Amy never just says Jen, like you would normally. She has to let you know which one by saying JLaw, Jennifer L., and prob straight up Jennifer Lawrence. Who feels the need to clarify if u r really friends w/ someone?! I’ve never gotten the Amy Schumer thing.

  6. Bishg says:

Why should we call it “dumb”?
I don’t see anything wrong or stupid in hanging out with your friends in a rental house, cooking, playing, making silly videos and generally having a great time instead of spending days in a luxury hotel getting wasted and/or bored and dying to even talk to someone.
So many people are really trying hard to be a pain in the ass and spit hate around for whatever reason. You might not like Jen or Amy, but they are normal girls doing normal things, why should we be upset or annoyed by them? I say kudos to them for keeping it real and giving value to the things that truly matters: friendship, laughter, family.
(Also, I would die to be considered for the sleepover-fest).

  7. nina says:

i dont get the fuss about the toilet thing. its not like ladies wipe with their bare hands, sometimes i dont wash my hands either after going to the bathroom, its no big deal!

    • MND says:

True. I hate it when I go into public toilets and other people are in there because then I feel like I have to wash my hands in front of them. Reminds me of that joke where there’s a marine and a soldier in the toilets and the marine doesn’t wash his hands after peeing. So the army guy says “In the army they taught us to wash our hands after taking a piss” and the marine says “oh yeah, in the marines they taught us not to piss on our hands”

    • Zapp Brannigan says:

It’s sort of a big deal to those with impaired immunity due to chronic illness.

    • Louise says:

y’all are gross. It takes 10 seconds!

      • Amy Tennant says:

Yeah, women don’t wipe with their bare hands, but there’s just a little toilet paper in between and sometimes even that’s not enough, and then there’s all the stuff you touch in there, like door handles and the flush handle. You don’t have to pee on your hands to realize it’s a good idea to wash them. It skeeves me out even to think about not washing. Even on a camping trip or hike, I have to use some of my water at least to rinse my hands off if I have nothing better to use. I’m not usually a germaphobe, but it makes me a little light-headed just thinking about people not washing.

Still like Jennifer Lawrence, just might not want to shake hands with her if I ever meet her!

      • KB says:

        You’re gross, ten seconds?

      • Tammy says:

Uh… no.. 30 seconds at least. and HOT WATER first, then soap, then rinse…

    • Naya says:

Wash your hands, not just because not doing so puts your own health at risk but because not doing so compromises the health of immunity impaired persons in a massive way. What does it cost you to just wash? I still love JLaw though, shes a talented fun person with a big heart but piss poor (pun intended) hygiene.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

It IS a big deal. When someone goes to the bathroom, and they flush the toilet, the germs are distributed around the room as much as 10 feet away. That’s why you should shut the lid to your toilet when you flush if you keep your toothbrush in the same room. So you may not be touching your own germs, but in a public toilet, you’re touching a billion germs from fecal matter all over the bathroom when you touch the door to the stall, the toilet, the sink, the door to leave…Weren’t you taught that as a child? In school? By your parents? You have all these germs all over your hands and now you’re picking up food and eating it, or rubbing your eyes, or putting your hand over your mouth when you sneeze? Did you know one of the filthiest things in your house is the bottom of your handbag? Because so many people sit it on the bathroom floor. Why do you think it’s a law that restaurant workers have to wash their hands after using the toilet? because everyone just wants to make a big deal out of nothing?

      • Kattie says:

I hope everyone giving out about J-Law’s poor hygiene is going to have the good grace to be embarrassed when she points out in a subsequent interview that she was joking when she claimed never to wash her hands, and exaggerating for comic effect as funny people telling jokes tend to do…

      • Louise says:

How do you know she is joking? Do you stalk her in bathrooms?

      • Amy Tennant says:

Embarrassed, no. Relieved, yes. I hope she is kidding.

      • jinni says:

@Kattie: How do you know that even if she says it was a joke in later interview that she’s only saying that because her revelation didn’t get the support and “isn’t she so cool/ normal?” response that she was hoping for and now has decided to backtrack?

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Why would I think that a grown woman who talks about farts in interviews is joking when she says she doesn’t wash her hands after she pees in the sink? On what do you base that? Her past mature behavior? Her elegant demeanor? Lol, I think she was completely serious.

      • Bae says:

Liam and Josh said she does it. So she wasn’t joking.

      • Jbap says:

I think it is obvious that Lawrence was joking about ‘never’ washing her hands. Sure, she probably wasn’t washed her hands from time to time, and teased Hemsworth and the other guy about it. But go look at the MTV interview: she is in full comic exaggeration mode. And talking about farts doesn’t mean you are unhygenic. Some of the comments here are seriously lacking perspective.

      • K says:

You and I are the same person on this. All over all these things and really how hard is hygiene.

    • FingerBinger says:

@nina It is a big deal. If you’re at home then don’t wash your hands. You can do what you want. However when you go out in public could you please show a little courtesy and wash your hands.

    • K says:

It’s a huge deal! It’s a public health issue not to mention it’s just disgusting. Honestly it’s truly horrificly gross if you don’t was your hands every SINGLE TIME YOU USE THE BATHROOM. Yuck.

    • Anne tommy says:

Jen might be a famous person making a joke, what’s your excuse Nina? Wash your hands.

    • Mary s says:

How often do you wash your hands in one day, as a rule? Do you wash them before you eat at least? I’m asking because even if you don’t understand why anyone *must* wash their hands after urinating and/or pooping, it’s just simply a good idea to wash your hands. Period. Geez, take advantage is the water and soap and wash your hands before using the toilet if you want to be different. Just please wash your hands once in a while to foster good health in yourself and others!

PS: it’s gross to think of people in certain professions not washing their hands often: health care workers, beauty industry workers, and teachers come to mind.

  8. Angie says:

I rather this than all the manufactured and ridiculously deep, meaningful parties Taylor Swift has in her mansions all over the place. She is quite literally headmaster of her “squad”.

    • lurker says:

I get what you’re saying, and yet I can’t help but think it’s unfortunate that the instinct is always to compare women to each other. Like one has to be knocked down in order to boost the other up.

      • Angie says:

I’m not knocking anyone, especially not women since I know the narrative, but these people are all PR constructed and doing this to maintain an image. I think Leo DiCaprio’s borderline elderly posse of has-been friends or George Clooney and his tequila making buddies are all annoying and particularly vomit inducing but they aren’t always pushed down our throats.

      • lurker says:

Yeah, I get it. I’m sort of torn. Like on the one hand, why even bother invoking Swift on stories about other young women that aren’t even in her industry? At the same time, I get that it’s a comparison of brands… and yet those brands are representing people, and more specifically, those people are both young women, so I don’t know…

      • Angie says:

I get what you’re saying. The idea of women against women in any sense is upsetting but these people are all millionaires striving to be normal to appeal for album sales and movie tickets. Lifelong girlfriends are amazing to have and are super important, I’m lucky to have mine, but this all comes off as a product placement.

    • Bae says:

this is equally manufactured just displaying a different image and catering to a different audience.

    • K says:

      Isn’t this as manufactured?

  9. Val says:

    Ugh.

    That’s all I can say.

  10. snarky mcsnark says:

I wish I was there! My cheeks would hurt from laughing so hard! Aziz can do no wrong in my book! I like all their work and styles of humor, they all seem to have fun and don’t take themselves too seriously (Ahem …. Taylor…) what’s so wrong with that?

  11. Mark says:

So down to earth and quirky

So refreshing to see a-list people act like us common folks, it’s so refreshing and endearing.

We need to carry on worshiping these people 4eva!!!!!!!

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

      Lol

    • Kattie says:

@mark, yes, I too interpreted those two short video clips as massive PR spin demanding that J-Law and Co be worshipped forever. God forbid that anyone might find them an amusing throwaway uploaded by some relatively talented and amusing entertainers.

      • Mark says:

They’ve known each other for a month and they name drop each other all the time and anytime jennifer texts amy she’s on twitter posting it telling us about her message from ‘jen’.

All amy does is humblebrag on twitter

  12. Josefa says:

Damn, people. It’s a 15 second video of a dude in a swing you didn’t even have to watch if you didn’t want to. Ya’ll are so bitter!

  13. Mimz says:

Well, all I can think of now is how none of them wash up after going to the toilet, and how they all shared the same bathroom sink where JLaw peed.

    So. Sad.

    • KB says:

Yes, I’m sure she chose to pee in the sink instead of the toilet in whatever massive mansion they’re staying in.

  14. Former Fan says:

Isnt is nothing weird that Chris Pratt/ who is MARRIED(!!!) but spending weekend with two bachelorettes Jen and Amy and NOT with his family???
Towards videos – what interesting or funny about them??? I dont see it ((( Guess, we live in time when we should worshiping and admire everything that comes out from queen of vulgarity and ignorance aka JLaw , even if it’s stupid, mediocre, substanceless, not actually funny or witty… Will see how her adoration change when The hunger games franchize is over – you all will be crucified every word of her – just like you do right now with Emily Blunt, Kristen, Anne H, Rooney or enyone else….
REALLY, can anyone explain me – why Lawrense gets free pass for all the ignorant bulsh–t that she bringing out, while other actresses under the fire for much harmless and crass stuff???
p.s. english not my native language, sorry for mistakes… (

    • Clarke says:

Since when Jennifer gets free pass? Have you visit her articles in internet sites? People shit on her a lot too just like with every women. You don’t see as much with men. This is what sad.

      • FingerBinger says:

She’s been getting a pass for some time. It’s only recently people have grown tired of her antics. If a man said he peed in a sink or didn’t wash his hands he’d be criticized too.

    • Jbap says:

Because a lot of actresses say dumber stuff than she does. Also, many of her silly or crass comments are often misfiring jokes, whereas a lot of the comments from others that get criticised here come from interviews where the offenders are being deadly serious and self-important.

    • Alex says:

They are filming a movie…that’s why Chris is with them. He’s also good friends with Aziz
Not every time a single woman and a married man work/hang out together has to be something salacious. Anna already talked about how hurtful those rumors were when Chris and Jen hadn’t even MET yet. Lord

And Jen gets a lot of shit for the dumb stuff she does. More than the average person

More than the average person sure. She’s a public figure. More than the average actress? No. She’s gotten a pass for a lot of Sh-t yeah even on this site. i don’t think anything she’s done here is something to be worked up about but let’s not rewrite history as if jlaw has been shat on on the reg. Guess what she’s being treated like every other actress in here is treated now. Shat on for the smallest thing.

The only one who annoyed me here was Ansari. He actually was annoying.

Honest question here, but what has she given a pass for? What people here make a bigger scandal about is ignorant comments regarding race and gender, and Jennifer, strategically so, never discusses those topics. I read all stories tagged with her name, the most she has said about those subjects is she’s not too young to play women in their 40’s (and people gave her sh*t for that).

All other stories are Jen’s silly antics, which people are quick to point out as grating, thirsty and obnoxious.

She’s said some dumb stuff that would have gotten any other actress into trouble. Her cat and Chaz Bono story. Come on. I’m sure she’s not a mean person, but you cannot deny that that story is in fact kinda transphobic. Her hermaphrodite comment which to be fair went largely ignored because of the article it was contained in. The defenses people come up with for her behavior is just all kinds of bizarre too. Like someone once suggested that she’s autistic or on the spectrum to explain some of her behavior. I mean really? I don’t think I see that at all with other actresses, so people go pretty far out of their way to excuse her. Girl has gotten major passes in the past. Not lately that’s for sure.

I won’t deny that she has haters who are tired of of the “real girl” cult that comes with Jlaw and her fans. And just people who hate her in general. And those haters are looking for any reason to tear her down….but is that really unique to this girl?

Go on Anne Hathaway’s forum and you’ll see the same sh-t for things that are way more innocuous (some by Jlaw’s own fans). Alicia Vikander said one time about how she wants to be more “well known” and literally nothing else is really known about her and she’s torn apart. She’s called smug, arrogant, etc. Kstew gets torn a new one every time an article is posted on her. Compared to every other actress on here for similar stuff, Jlaw has been treated pretty well. Am I of the opinion that she needs to be shat on to make up for all the other actresses that are? No. Not at all. I wish people would step back and realize how they treat these women in comparison to one another and yes how harsh we are in general with actresses though.

What ignorant bullsh*t? Jennifer rarely ever discusses serious topics.

Have you read any of the comments here? Who is giving her a free pass?

I’m not on the J-Law love train. However, I see nothing even remotely objectionable about those videos. I am also amused by her haters getting all very defensive and self-righteous when they are accused of bashing her. I think because so many people luurve her, a few people massively overcompensate and go over the top.

LOL at all of the “I’m over this, It must stop” posts. Do you seriously expect people to change their friends or their sense of humour or what they do recreationally just because you’re so over reading about it that you can’t not click on an article?

They’ve having fun, They’re successful, Somebody obviously likes what they do so if you don’t scroll on by and don’t pay to see their movies or whatever it’s really as simple as that tbh.
