I remember her as the mother in The Lovely Bones. I think she is elegant and lovely.
I would have bet the farm that that was a Matthew Williamson dress!
And Colin Farrell as accessory, another foin, foin, foin, man.
She is so gorgeous, stylish and classy. Lucky Daniel Craig. And Colin Farrell is a brilliant actor and not bad looking at all…
Except it’s Alexander McQueen, and Valentino has been far too direction lately for something this ‘simply pretty and feminine.’
Anna?! You’re back! How have you been? I will tell Miss Jane you are here.
I pop up… once a month or so … in the middle of a 16-hr workday 🙂
I do miss you guys like crazy! There’s been a terrible dearth of Hemsworth nourishment, I see, but Hiddles is clearly jumping out of his Beyonce-loving knickers to fill the void :))))))
We miss you too! 16-h workday?! Wow!!!
Miss Jane and I swapped guys. She has Hiddles now and I have a bit of a crush on CHems (who has recently joined instagram). Bless Hiddles! I have enjoyed his recent interviews and He certainly is filling the CHems void.
I hope you can pop up more often! The threads, and specially the hot guy(s) posts, are not the same without you, Alonso, Marty and Jenna.
I love this dress, gorgeous.
Rachel looks gorgeous in that dress. I love the plum suit on Colin too.
Can’t wait to see The Lobster. I need something quirky to counteract all the dark and depressing movies I keep watching.
Gah they both look amazing. NUTSACKS, now that’s my kind of man. Wish he’d let his eyebrows be wild & free tho, they are looking overly groomed here. Ditto to The Lobster!
This dress is perfection.
My earlier comment seems to have vanished, no matter. I just wanted to say what a lovely woman Rachel seems to be, and I wouldn’t kick her husband out of bed either. The gown, however, gives me Miss Haversham vibes, albeit quite colourful.
I should have added I wouldn’t kick him out for eating toast in bed (crumbs get everywhere).
“The gown, however, gives me Miss Haversham vibes, albeit quite colorful.”
I like the idea and cut and layering and shoulders; perhaps with a less dreary, less upholstery pattern it would be a bit more fresh, modern, and look stunning.
That Aunt who sued her little nephew is a POS. Who does that?! If she had health insurance she could get her wrist fixed. If I were the little boy’s family, I’d sue her for emotional stress. Her stupid lawsuit took time away from our judicial system that could had used it’s time more wisely. She would never see her nephew again if I were his parent.
This Aunt is a freakin idiot.
A commenter on another site pointed out that she sued to try to get some of the life insurance money that went to her nephew and his father after the death of boy’s mother last year (her sister).
Don’t know if it’s true but sounds like the real story.
Yea that was th 1st comment posted on this links comments section. It’s just an opinion that some are running with as more truth.
I have 2nd hand knowledge of this story from the medical angle.
That said… The boy tackled his aunt in a manner most responsible parents would caution their child against. She did land on it and it is injured to a degree.
Yes, she’s asking for too much and going about it the wrong way. And the 12 year ol boy should have far better manners and behavior. If I did that to an aunt or family member i’d have to crack open my giant pink crayon bank and pay out as lesson learned you don’t act so recklessly.
All this aside it is Connecticut where some people have a warped sense of self importance.
Florc, the accident happened four years ago, when nephew was 8 years old.
I think in her lawsuit she said something like “I was at a party and I couldn’t hold my hors d’oeuvres plate with this hand. The emotional distress is too much.” What the what?
The boy was excited to see her at his birthday party. It may have been rough. She’s not paralyzed or dead.
At that age, seeing her injured and having a good sit down talk would be enough to set the kid straight. Having an 8 year old open his piggy bank for this is not a good lesson. It’s saying that you act as you want and just pay people off when it goes left.
DianaM.
That was a detail that slipped in editing my comment. Also a detail is a timelapse from when something can happen to when it’s actually able to go to court.
And I stand firm on this. an 8 year old should still have an understanding to not tackle an adult woman. Unless this is how the family greets eachother.
Lama Bean
It was in her testimony that she made that statement. If you read the link it’s stated in that article.
And yes a good sit down is part of it. The paying people off part is not as you state imo. Sometimes because of your actions money is needed to correct damage done. If I broke a window with a ball I would have to pay to fix it. Not to pay someone off, but to absorb the cost of my actions to make them whole again.
And all that said I don’t agree this woman is correct to sue for the amount she wants. Whatever the copay was out of pocket for her seems reasonable in many instances.

Some people have a warped sense of self importance in Connecticut? As opposed to the other 49 states? Please.
OK
By “Digging For Gold” I thought Eva had a metal detector or something of that fashion on a beach..
Isn’t that when somebody has their finger up their nose? Goop would never approve, so common.
She looks gorgeous – love the dress. Honestly, she’s too good for Craig. And I am so liking Farrell better as he ages.
That dress is very pretty.
Lovely. I just realized I haven’t seen her in anything in quite some time.
Me either. I like her as an actress, I’ll have to look up what she’s been up to.
She looks gorgeous and the dress is very pretty.
I had to do the same. Forgot she was in OZ TGAP. She was a savinng grace to that disaster. And Dream House and Enemy at the Gate, but those aren’t very recent films. She appears to work consistently though.
She won the DNA lottery. So beautiful. Great dress.
Shes so gorgeous, love her.
I love him!!!
Am I the only one thinking Farrell looks ick here? His eyebrows look odd, like they’re made of Play-Doe.
Love the dress. Love the purple suit. Both hot! They look good together.
