Nadya “Octomom” Suleman has finally caved in and admitted she’s doing a reality show. But since she originally denied it, and has often been called out for her repeated lies, Nadya of course had to twist the truth to try to cover her ass. Which was pretty sore, since her pants were on fire and all.

Nadya says she is indeed doing a show, but it’s a documentary of her children’s lives. I’ll wait while you collect yourself. The camera crew will film said “documentary” until the Octuplets turn 18. No word on to what extent the older children will be featured. And Nadya claims this is really just a convenient service to her, since it’ll provide her with home movies that she doesn’t otherwise have the time to take. I’m sure that’s the only thing she’s getting out of this.

After weeks of speculation, Nadya Suleman confirms to Life & Style exclusively that she will be doing a television show with her 14 children!

“Yes, it is official. I’m going to be doing a show, but it’s not a reality show,” Nadya tells Life & Style. “What I’m doing with this TV show is basically creating documentaries about the lives of my children. It’s going to be an ongoing thing, and it will follow them from now until they are 18. It’s being done by Eyeworks; they’re in the UK. It will air in the UK and then we’ll see if the US is interested.”

Nadya adds that the documentary style of the show won’t infringe on her family’s privacy: “The producers will come here to film six times a year. They’ll come by and take some footage and then they’ll go. They won’t be invading my life or my children’s lives.”

Plus, the filming will help this busy mom remember the important milestones for her children. “It will give me the opportunity to have incredible home movies that, believe me, I don’t have the time to make myself. Having this documentary crew allows me to focus on raising my children and still have great movies of them.”

I wonder what level of interest Octomom garners in the U.K. She obviously gets a lot here, but a good deal of it is negative, and there are so many people who are upset with the way she’s selfishly discarded medical ethics to fulfill her own emotional holes. I’d be slightly curious to see Nadya’s show, but I’d be loath to do anything that would feed into her narcissism, and watching her program would certainly contribute to it.

I just love the way she’s spun this nonsense into a “documentary.” Look, it’s just an occasional reality show. IF she’s being truthful – and because it’s Nadya, that’s a huge if – a camera crew coming into her home every other month doesn’t sound like it would be massively invasive, everything considered. More than anything, I just hate the idea that she’s being rewarded for her poor decisions. And you know they’re going to frame her in her best light. They won’t show her frequent trips to get her nails done or the $1,200 she blows on makeup in a single trip. I’m sure she has some agreement that gives her say over the editing. Congratulations Octomom, all your dreams have come true.
