Kris Jenner and Kanye West like each other a lot. It’s true. If Kris has a favorite child, it’s Kim, and if she has a favorite son-in-law, it’s Kanye. On Kanye’s side, I think he loves having some kind of mother figure in his life after his own mom passed away. I genuinely believe Kanye likes being part of the Kardashian-Jenner family, but he seems to have some special love for Kris. So much so that he seems totally fine with living at Kris’s house for going on what? Like, four years. So what would Kanye do if his mother figure told him that he needed to stop with the tweeting and the drama?
From explosive Twitter rants to expletive-filled outbursts, Kanye West has been making headlines left and right – and, as it turns out, creating waves amongst his wife Kim Kardashian West’s family too.
“Kanye said embarrassing things that affect the whole family,” a source close to Kardashian West’s mother and manager, Kris Jenner, tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “Kris told Kim that she was concerned over his outbursts, his tweets and unnecessary attention-seeking.”
While Kris, 60, has “been very vocal” with her daughter about her displeasure with West’s outbursts, the source explained Kardashian West “basically told her she needs to butt out.”
Kris “gave Kim advice about how to make Kanye feel more secure and come to her instead of going off on Twitter,” the source said, adding that the momager told Kardashian West, 35, she needs to make sure her husband is okay and “stop being so into herself.”
“That really got to Kim, because she feels like she does put him first and is the best wife,” the source continued. “Kim asked Kris to stay out of it. It got a little heated.”
At the end of the day, though, Kris’ concerns come from a good place: “Kris loves Kanye like a son and has always felt a need take care of him,” the source said. “He doesn’t have a family so they are all he has.”
Yeah, here’s the thing: I don’t understand why anyone would look to Kim like she’s the one who needs to control Kanye. If it was Kim’s job to control Kanye, she wouldn’t be able to do anything else all day. I also don’t buy that Kris wouldn’t say something directly to Kanye, because I honestly believe they have that kind of relationship, where Kris could advise Yeezy and he would listen to what she has to say. But sure, I’ll believe that Kim and Kris fought about Kanye’s antics. Kris is mad because Kanye is affecting HER bottom line, her managerial cut of all of her daughters’ endorsements and such. Kris isn’t thinking about Kim’s marriage as much as Kris is thinking about how much Kanye’s antics will hurt financially. Sigh… if all else fails, Kris will just call on Satan to make another Faustian bargain. #SatanWearsYeezys
PS… People Mag has a new story this morning where sources claim that Kanye’s “lashing out embarrasses” Kim, but “at the end of the day, she is 110 percent committed to keeping her family together, and there won’t be anything that will ever get in the way of that.”

In all seriousness though, I think they get along so well because they have a symbiotic relationship. Kanye NEEDS attention. Kris will do whatever it takes to make sure her family remains the center of attention. It’s a win-win.

Don’t believe a word of it. Kris is too intimated by Kim to tell her anything. Her sextabades made the family what they are now, whatever that is besides repulsive. Kris used to vocalize her love for Lamar to get Lakers tickets, her disdain then love then disdain then love for Scott…all of these weak men make wonderful storylines. Interestingly, she never publically came after 25 year old Tyga for doing her teenage Lolita daughter aka Kylie. Yes. Hasn’t Kris noticed Kanye’s family taking care of Nori? Or coming to the baby shower? Are they strangely invisible to Kris? Younger ones have been seen escorting Nori, one was identified as a nanny and cousin.. Kanye’s aunt was seen escorting Nori places a lot in pap pics when Nori was still a baby. I don’t think his family is willing to abandon that child to the uncertain kare of the Kardashians.

Oh I 100% believe that Kris wouldn’t approach Kanye even if she did genuinely like him.
This is NOT a normal family structure, don’t believe the story lines.
At the end of the day money rules them all and will ALWAYS be the deciding factor in their relationships. How quickly did Kanye go from ranting to Puma there’d never a ‘Kylie ANYTHING’ to being told by paparazzi that she’d signed without him knowing it.
I also fully understand why she’d be putting pressure on Kim to control Kanye. Kim is a prize to Kanye and is the trophy wife to someone with far more fame than her. Kanye used to be obsessed with Kim and treat her like his moon and stars, now he’s writing lyrics about f-ing Taylor Swift.
I could easily see Kris privately telling Kim to get her husband under control. If he wants her affection to give it to him. If he’s not ‘satisfied’ to start pleasing him. Kris isn’t going to let Kanye go until all his usefulness is explored, that means Kim keeping her husband happy and off Twitter.
Kris loves Kanye not like a son but rather like a potential source of 10%. She tries to get a management contract with every guy her daughters bring home. She did that with Lamar and even with French Montana. Kris Humphries’ fate was sealed when he had the audacity to hire someone else…

The one telling thing about this article is the statement that Kanye has no family other than the Kardashians. You know who else that is said about? Scott Disick and Lamar Odom. it’s a strange phenomenon that all the Kardashian women pick such isolated men, or is that the Kardashians just push out all remaining family members of men who’ve lost their parents (I mean, Lamar has children and the others have aunts and uncles and possibly cousins too). Very strange.
Also, the fact they are claiming Blac Chyna is isolating Rob from his family is their Karma coming right back to bite them in the ass.
Kanye has family, a dad, uncles, aunts and cousins. Kris trys to make it seem that they all have to depend on them for family affection.
Yeah, I don’t really buy that PMK said anything to her golden child out of concern for anyone’s well-being. The fact that she’s quoted as being concerned over “unnecessary attention-seeking” made me laugh out loud. This entire family has made a living out of unnecessary attention-seeking, kicking off in dramatic fashion with brokering the deal to make and sell Kim’s sex tape.
Also, SHE is telling someone to pay more attention to their husband and to stop being so self-involved? Um, wasn’t she the one who claimed to have no idea her husband, Bruce, wanted to transition into becoming a woman? She’s quoted all over the place as saying she thought it was just a “quirk” of his. Way to make your husband “feel secure” and talk to you about it, Kris.
According to Caitlyn she was honest with all of her wives about her sexuality. She said she was in the beginning stages of transition when she and Kris first met. Caitlyn was undergoing hormone treatments and had breasts as I recall. She stopped because Kris wanted her to. She had been dressing as a woman for years and supposedly Kris was fine with it as long as Caitlyn did it elsewhere.
That is the story I’ve heard recently.
