Chris Brown welcomed documentary filmmakers into his life at some point over the past year. They pulled together exclusive footage of Brown performing, exclusive interviews with Brown and his family, plus interviews with entertainment journalists, music industry people and more. The result is “Chris Brown – Welcome To My Life,” the documentary that will likely reignite a giant mess that Brown always brings to the table. I swallowed my bile and watched the trailer. It did not change my mind about him. Keep in mind – this is an OFFICIAL documentary. Meaning, Brown participated in the making of this doc at every level. And he still comes across so badly that his utter narcissism is immediately evident in this little splice.
I don’t have a degree in Psychology. I have no background in mental illness or personality disorders. But I have to think that the professional shrinks out there will have a field day with the language Chris uses. This is his constant refrain for years – “pity poor Chris” and “my violent assault of Rihanna was SO HARD ON ME.” He tells the documentary:
“This is the first time I get to say anything…I went from being on top of the world, No. 1 songs, being kind of like America’s sweetheart to being Public Enemy No. 1. I felt like a f–king monster. I was thinking about suicide, I wasn’t sleeping, I barely ate…If there was ever a doubt in your mind Chris Brown was done, he was finished…I wouldn’t bet on it.”
Last month, I pointed out that Chris was a total a—hole for declaring “there is no attempting suicide, stop flexing for the gram” to Kehlani. I pointed out that Chris’s constant refrain, ever since his assault of Rihanna, is to play on people’s sympathy and talk about how he was suicidal. Also a constant in the past seven years? How Chris always makes it all about Chris Brown. He nearly killed Rihanna. It was something HE did to HER. She was the one with injuries. But Chris always acts like he suffered the worst of it because… what? People were supposed to forgive him and take his side immediately, because he’s Chris Brown?

I’m here to honk for NO more Fist Brown stories. Let’s pretend he doesn’t exist. Please and thank you.
I totally agree, we don’t need to hear from him. please and thank you
Yes please. No press or coverage at all for this person.
Yeah, either he’s lying or it must not have been too bad for him, since he’s thrown rocks at his mothers car, stalked his last girlfriend and threatened those around her, and has countless reports of at least threatening and intimidating other random women at clubs. So. Sure, Chris. He’s a scary person that I would want to be nowhere near.
Plus, how many fights has he gotten into?
This! He is a scary piece of sh*t. Who knows what might have happened if Rihanna hadn’t been able to get out of that car. It could have ended up even worse if she hadn’t gotten away from him.
Plus, there’s no such thing as thinking about suicide!
Don’t forget when he threw a chair through the window at GMA.
He felt like a monster because he ACTED like a monster! If the shoe fits…
HONK! The fact that he still sees this as some kind of “setback” to his career that he is confident he will overcome shows that he has learned nothing.
Honk. I don’t want to hear about him unless I’m hearing that he’s in jail. He should have served time for what he did to Rhianna.
I love that he’s still making about HIM. Oh, please feel bad for me. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep. You guys made me feel bad. Pity party. No mention of the woman he almost killed. Dis. Gus. Ting.
Agreed – when he finally messes with the wrong person or ends up in jail, then I’ll read a story about it. But until then, I think I’m done.
Agreed. Years later and he’s still the same narcissistic violent douchebag he was the night he beat Rih up.
honk on that. no more Chris Brown please!
Honk! Agreed no more pity stories from Fists Brown. Don’t care to hear anything about him unless it’s about him actually serving much deserved time for his antics. So, he doesn’t beat up his girlfriends anymore, but that’s really the only change in his behavior. He’s still a stalker, uses intimidation tactics, has violent outbursts, and only thinks of how his behavior affects him – not his victims. Typical – stop the one behavior that exposed him, but keep up all the other barbaric acts and attitude until or unless something else he does gets him in trouble and then stop that one behavior. Such a narrow mind this one.
Adding to the chorus of honks. I go into a RAGE whenever I see something on him.
Unless, as Shambles said above, he finally ends up in jail, where he belongs
Maaaaajor HONK. Screw this douchebag, we all know about the proverbial pity party he’s been throwing himself for years. Don’t need updates on it ESPECIALLY when he then refuses to show sympathy for anyone else and is STILL a violent monster.
honk!
Adding my HONK.
I’m already very much looking forward to reading the article about him going to prison, though.
Honk!!
This guy needs to be ghosted, hard.
Oh come on, the poor guy wasn’t eating! Not because his jaw was so swollen it was painful…he just didn’t feel like it.
Agreed. No more CB on CB!
Totally agree, please don’t give him the space here.
Wholeheartedly agree. No publicity (food) for him.
Ugh. Awful human.
He’s feeling as he should be feeling. He is a monster. Any male that hits a woman is a monster.
You mean any person that assaults another is s monster. Gender has nothing to do with it
Oh no I fell into the celebitchy trap!
…logs off fast…
Thanks for pointing it out. I would have totally forgotten about the fact that assaulting men isn’t okay either. *yawn*
You are very welcome Zip! I’m not sure if you are be facetious or not so I’m going with benefit of the doubt.
Virtual yawns are the equivalent of saying “Thank You Captain Obvious.” LOL. No biggy.
Anyone who has done ANY of things he’s done is a monster.
So he wasn’t suicidal over the monster he turned into when he beat the hell out of Rihanna and was overwhelmed that he was capable of doing that to someone he professed to love. He was suicidal because he went from being a huge star, on top of the world careerwise, America’s sweetheart to public enemy number one, a pariah.
Why am I not surprised?
Pretty much Jayna. Any regrets he has are about the backlash, the damage to his career. He gives zero effs about anyone other than Chris Brown.
This POS, a legend in his own mind. He keep sipping on that whine. But we’re all just jellus h8ters tryna dim his shine.
Narcissits do not care about their victims. They only care about perception. He is textbook.
Basically, amazing isn’t it?
Brilliant catch Jayna. UGH HATE THIS MAN! And other humans like him.
Well, you ARE a monster Chris…
Hate this guy. He’s never ever commented on what he actually did to her. He’s never talked about the event in a way that acknowledges her as a victim. He’s ALWAYS defensive, “this is my story”. NOBODY CARES, MORON.
Textbook.
Any man who can beat up on a woman is a F*king monster in my book. The amount of rage he had to leave Riahanna’s face the way he did, gets zero sympathy from me. Period.
He’s just gross. Why he still has a career (and a worringly big female fanbase) is beyond me. There’s just no redeeming features with this dude.
I immediately thought of that bit Samantha Bee did a few weeks ago about Ted Cruz. And the glorious performance college student Cruz gave. “Why am I persecuted?”
Why indeed. Oh, Chris. You’re not persecuted. You’re a vile person, there’s a difference.
Not persecuted which implies he’s some kind of martyr. More like exposed. Creeps don’t want people to know they’re creeps.
I’m pretty sure in his case it’s the former. Fear of being exposed would mean he knows what he is. I don’t think he does. He’s completely delusional.
The audacity of the public actually holding this man responsible for his actions!
HOW DARE WE.
Yeah, it’s like, spoiler alert, when you do bad things to people, people won’t like you. Most of us learned that as TODDLERS.
Ah yes Chris, it’s all about you.
Plus, my gaydar pings, yours?
Yes. I have some thoughts on this, but I guess I’ll refrain from armchair diagnosing and triggering. But yes.
Please, do go on.
Part of the rumor was that the reason he freaked had to do with Rhianna finding about his sexuality. That was said by more than one person. True or not??
I didn’t hear about that part.
Is he just going to talk about “the incident”? Or is he going to mentioned the other times he was abusive with her. Because that was clearly not the first time. In her Diane Sawyer interview, Rihanna said he pushed her up against a wall before, and that he had been verbally abusive before.
Im pretty sure his other exes well as his staff have also been victims. That wasnt just a one off incident and nor was Rihanna the only victim.
That Karrueche women stayed with him a long time even though he repeatedly humiliated her. I think she’s as bad as he is for in my opinion she used him to try to be a celebrity herself. I think they will get together again in the future. I think this is an ill fated apology tour, thinking he’s a new man because of his child born from a hookup. He does seem to love his daughter, I’ll give him that.
@ Nancy Wow. Just wow. Way to blame the victim here.
Karreuche Tran hasn’t been with him for a year and yet you think they will get together again. Why?
“I think she’s as bad as he is for in my opinion she used him to try to be a celebrity herself.”
Whoa! assuming that you are correct and she was a fame chaser, in which universe is that equivalent to psychological and physical abuse???!! Also, if we make allowances for a famous weatlthier woman staying with him and even returning back to him, why are those allowances not available to the poorer woman?
Karrueche definitely has her own issues to stay with a man that treated her and others the way he did/does but that doesn’t mean she deserved his abuse. Noone deserves to be abused unless they themselves are abusers and even then, abusing them back doesn’t help them.
I think the more reasonable line of thought is that Brown chooses women whom he can abuse – women with low self-esteem or who come from abusive childhoods – with whom the abuser can get away with it or get away with it longer. Domestic violence education shows most women in abusive adult relationships were either subject to abuse as children or witnessed a pattern of abuse in their home. So, bascially abusers seek partners for whom abuse has been normalized. They don’t know any different or they know it’s wrong, but don’t know healthy ways to argue or address problems. Don’t label people who stay in abusive relationships as users or jump-offs. A kinder and more realistic view is to realize sure, she wanted fame and recognition and she got some of that from him, but whose to say that was her plan rather than some kind of warped pay-off to get her through the bad stuff? The violent partners of most women I know who’ve been abused always had a reward of some kind – attention, love, gifts, trips, public professing of their love….but the women didn’t stay because of the pay-off. They stayed because they kept thinking the abuser would change and entirely become who pretended to be when paying them off. It’s a weird cycle we dont’ understand because we haven’t been in it. But it’s not our place to judge or persecute abused people. Most of them beleive they cannot do any better and that they somehow deserve to be abused. karrueche may like fame and public attention, but that doesnt’ mean she enjoys being abused or asked for it so she could have the fame and attention. More likely, she is damaged in some way – before he got to her and after.
JenniferJustice- I swear I am not trying to stalk you on here! But we have the same train of thought. You said it so I don’t have to type it 🙂
I studied & worked with abused women and something that stood out to me was what victims heard that helped them. That one thing that resonated with them and made them feel hope was “You do not deserve to be treated like this.” Period, end of story.
They take on so much blame and others blame (see above) & they feel worthless & like they deserve it. I don’t care what a woman (or man) does- she does not deserves to be abused.
I have used that phrase a lot in my life & have seen women who were stoic suddenly shatter & lose it. All this crap we put on ourselves & others but it boils down to something very simple that is universal to every abusive situation- “You do not and did not deserve to be treated that way.”
I don’t think that makes her ‘as bad as he is’ at all. It’s possible that any woman who dates Chris Brown after what he did to Rihanna might assume that because that got so much media attention, they’re safe with him, because they think he’s learned his lesson/wouldn’t want a repeat of that. It’s still a dumb decision to date him, but it wouldn’t be surprising if some overly trusting people reasoned that way.
And JenniferJustice, thank you for discouraging victim-blaming.
Creep.
But that bicycle picture is magnificent……:)
Well…Christopher, you are still an unrepentant abusive jacka$$ in 2016, so not much has changed since 2009.
Well boohoohoo, cry me a river Chris.
This dude’s existence is offensive to me.
He is a sick twist and using the worst night of Rihanna’s life to get some shine on him. 99% of the world will think f off, but he still has his groupies and I’m guessing he is hoping somebody in the 1% will buy his crock of shit and feel sorry for him. He is mental, so I have apathy in that regard, but to have potentially killed his girlfriend and then say it almost ruined his life is unfathomable to me. STFU Fisty
If only it was 99%. You’d be shocked by how much fans this guy still has. He’s not America’s sweetheart, but he still has a career because people still buy his stuff. And THAT’S what most puzzles me. His victimizing campaign actually WORKED on some people!
No surprise that Chris Brown has a matyr complex. These people who gave interviews and signed releases for this documentary are the real problem. They know their interviews are intended to legitimise this idiot and they dont care!
1) Jamie Fox 2) Usher and 3) Jlo. And Jlo was already on extremely thin ice over that Dr Luke nonsense “song” she put out. She will clearly do anything to keep that career going.
Noooo…Jamie Foxx why??? Ugh.
Wait, what happened with Jamie Fox, Usher, and J.Lo?
Totally beside the point…..what straight woman could date a man in clothes this tight? His clothes are tighter than mine!!
What I hear when he says he felt like a monster is, not him acknowledging the fact that what he did was heinous and that he felt guilty for it, but that he felt that people *saw* him as a monster, but he wasn’t and that is what made him “suicidal”. He feels nothing but anger and self pity at people’s response to his actions; his contempt at even having to pretend to be contrite is clear even to this day. He’s a dangerous person and always will be.
Eva – all of this 100%. I have never gotten the impression he’s remorseful for what actually happened but instead that it was made public.
Also recall the subsequent chair throwing- window breaking-expletive laced tantrum on the GMA set after being asked about the restraining order in 2011.
That one will NEVER change. You are 100% correct.
Yes. That’s what I take away from it too – He’s not a monster in his mind, not for what he did or how he is. But the public viewed him as a monster and that, he cannot stand. Again, he cares not about the mark he leaves on this world. All he cares about is perception. Something is missing in people like him.
This. It’s all about HIS feelings about how HE was being ‘treated’ like the bad guy, not how awful what he did was or the effects of it. He’s basically turning his abusing someone and facing the natural consequences of it into some type of hardship he suffered through. Such a narcissist.
He deserves to feel that way. He should be in jail.
I’m glad at least the media is fed up with his bullshit.

Oh damn. 😂
Awww, poor little guy! I feel so bad for him and his widdle feelings. We are all so mean, being angry at him for just trying to teach a girl a lesson! we know we deserve it-isn;t that what they say? “You are making me do this” or “I;m sorry but you made me so mad, I couldn’t think straight”. I remember those days. F&ck You, Chris Brown. You give monsters a bad name. Go away and never come back.
Here’s a good idea: take Chris Brown and Charlie Sheen and ship them off to some deserted island, never to be heard from again. World will be a much better place without those two disgusting excuses of a human being.
Brown shouldn’t feel sorry for himself. Nothing happened to his career. He still has fans. He even won a grammy. It’s stupid of him to rehash it.
Aw poor Popsicle, beat the sh-t out of someone and felt sooooo bad. F–k. Off.
I’m also equally disgusted by other celebrities who continue to work and hang out with this arsehole. Like seriously, why are we not calling them out?
just when we were really doubting him, he rises like a phoenix from the ashes of that time that singer lady just wouldn’t leave well enough alone. insert delusional talking about oneself in third person aaaaand set release date for movie no one wants to see. *producers and usher all look at each other nodding in smug self satisfaction.
Magnoliarose thinks Chris Brown is a misogynist. Magnoliarose never thought Chris Brown deserved his career. Why in the h.ll does this man speak about himself in 3rd person?
I know someone who had to spend time with him because of work and said that they had been shocked by his behavior. He was rude, arrogant, spoiled, immature and violent. They said that the way he spoke to his mother was excruciating to witness. He cursed and threatened her. He threw things at her and handled her roughly. They said it was the most poisonous work environment ever. It was before the Rhianna incident. Loads of stories from people in Atlanta about him and none of them nice.
If the 9,000th pair of sneakers fits …. such a tool. HONK HONK HONK …
Wait, when was he feeling this? As he was jet skiing around Diddy’s Miami home the following week? Yeah, he looked super sad and introspective in those photos. And referring to himself in the 3rd person? Classic narcissist.
Maybe that’s why people still don’t like you, Chris. Not just because you beat your then-girlfriend to a pulp and have been on an endless tour of justification for domestic violence (as if it’s ever OK) but because you’re such a narcissist that the only song you’ve sung is the ‘woe-is-me, my life is so hard because my actions had consequences I didn’t like’
Maybe it would be different if he had owned up to what he did, got counselling and actually showed he was capable of an adult relationship. But instead he’s complained about his court-ordered sentence, has had multiple violent outbursts, has abused subsequent girlfriends and now feels he is owed pity and forgiveness just because his career suffered? Give me a break. This POS makes my blood boil.
I was very disappointed when I turned on the radio and Zendaya had a new duet with him. She seemed so smart on other issues…but as a young rising star to support this loser? Ugh.
Wow! I am really surprised by that. That does make me sad. I was also surprised to see some stars on this pos “documentary”.
Thank you for pointing out the hypocrisy of him complaining about how he was suicidal (for being criticized for abusing a woman) after trying to dismiss someone else’s suicide attempt and hospitalization as nothing but a phony attempt to get instagram likes. I guess in his delusional mind his mentioning how he was suicidal in a documentary can’t be dismissed as a bid for sympathy. This is the same fool who basically said there’s no such thing as a suicide attempt. And his fans/like-minded morons backing him up and saying ignorant, nasty things about that girl and her suicide attempt on different sites was just a mess. You would have thought you had stumbled onto Return of Kings or some other hateful site with some of the comments.
Doesn’t take a lot to tell this mofo is a narcissist -like many famous people. He also said he lost his virginity when he was 8 or something -in denial about his own childhood sexual abuse, one of many contributing factors to his abusive behavior. At least I would say it’s kind of safe to assume so, considering.
