Just when I think we’re about done with Lena Dunham, she shows up at the CFDAs wearing bunny slippers. To be fair, even though I think her Creatures of the Wind ensemble looks like it came out of a thrift store in 1986, I’m sure it costs a lot. Yes, the outfit, jewelry and shoes look like she spent $11, but I’m sure this is actually the height of fashion somewhere.
I’m always shocked that Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are still together. I don’t know why I have such a thing about them, like I’m always thinking that they’re about to divorce. Claire’s dress is Calvin Klein Collection. I hate the “eye” above her crotch. That’s a terrible design.
I LOVE Doutzen Kroes’ Calvin Klein suit. She looks badass and I want this suit.

Lauren Conrad, wearing her own LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls design. I think she looks like a budget Olsen sister here, which is too bad because I’ve bought LC’s stuff at Kohls and I actually like it. Also: terrible makeup here.
Karlie Kloss in Rosie Assoulin. Doesn’t this look like something Taylor Swift would wear? It so girly, and by that I mean it looks like something originally intended for a 3-year-old girl.
Irina Shayk in Misha Nonoo. This is actually a wide-leg jumpsuit, it just looks like a dress from this angle. I think it looks summery and fresh.
Gabrielle Union in a Lela Rose optical illusion dress. Meh. I would like to see her in something brighter.

I know this is unfair but I hate Hugh Dancy’s character on The Path so much that it kind of makes me hate him. I see him and I just think “you manipulative, little fine-boned creep”.

I agree. She’s expressing her unique style without going out of her way to choose something unflattering, as she usually does. And that hair is finally growing out.

While I don’t love the execution, I love that the “eye” in Claire’s dress is a geode slice. Can not be comfortable to sit in that thing, but I do appreciate mixing up the materials….
Yes, that’s super cool. It’s a pretty dress and I was trying to figure out how to place the geode so that it looked better, maybe just turning it horizontally would work. She is looking really great these days.

I have the same feeling re: Claire and Hugh Dancy. He always looks like he’s ready to bolt when having his picture taken with her. I wouldn’t be surprised if they split in the next couple of years.

i actually really like Lena’s dress and the hair. The necklace does not go with the outfit, and the slippers are hideous and an obvious attempt to troll us. Even though i like the dress, when i see all the other photos from the event, it seems that she should have picked something just a tad more formal.

I would totally wear those bunny slippers at home, but maybe not in public. I would think I was adorable, too. I would probably be alone in that opinion.

All of this is Meh. Emily has just proven to me again that slip dresses just don’t suit anyone with curves. They suit little straight up and down wisps.

I think everyone looks mighty fine – except Karlie Kloss. I like Lena’s bunny slippers too. It suits her. And although I love Doutzen Kroes and her jumpsuit, I wish she had a different hairstyle – maybe more relaxed?
