Would you like to know how deliciously petty Calvin Harris is? He made sure to get pap’d on Friday in LA… wearing Yeezy kicks. As in, Kanye West designed those sneakers/trainers. Those sneakers are actually pretty popular overall, and in celebrity-ville. Taylor Swift’s brother had a pair of Yeezys but he threw them out (and posted the video on Instagram) following Taylor and Kanye’s last controversy. Do you think it’s a coincidence that Calvin wore Yeezys for a pap stroll on the day after Kim Kardashian’s GQ interview dropped and Kim called out Taylor for being a manipulative a—hole?

So, obviously, the drama continues between Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift. And unlike Tay-Tay’s previous exes, who have mostly run screaming away from her drama machine and happily allowed her sell whatever story about them so they wouldn’t have to deal with her, Calvin is not going away quietly. This is why I always thought Calvin and Taylor were so well-matched: they are both drama queens. They both air their private grievances publicly. So how do you think TMZ got the story that Taylor dumped Calvin over the phone?

Taylor Swift dumped Calvin Harris in a phone call, which is stunning because she was pissed when Joe Jonas did the exact same thing to her. Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ, Swift called Calvin from Nashville at some point after his car crash to pull the plug on their relationship. We’re told Swift was vague during the call, only saying she needed some space.

Calvin was thunderstruck because he was under what he thought was a clear impression that Taylor was in it for the long haul to help him recover. He didn’t accept the news well … we’re told they haven’t spoken since. Another source, however, says it’s BS … They say Taylor was good to Calvin and even went to L.A. after his accident to help him recover. But get this … Taylor put Joe Jonas on blast on Ellen’s show back in 2008 … when she called him out for an over-the-phone breakup. Pot, meet kettle.

I still believe that Calvin Harris did the dumping. Did Taylor manipulate the situation so he would dump her? Perhaps. But it was clear that he was done and then he wasn’t expecting her to debut The Tiddlesbanging just a few weeks after the split. So Calvin had to come up with a new story. A new story that involved Taylor-as-bad-guy. Maybe Taylor-as-cheater. E! News reports:

Calvin Harris is still reeling from the news that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are dating.

“Calvin was completely faithful to Taylor. He never looked in another direction. He was completely blindsided by this. He is hurt,” a source tells E! News. In wake of the surprising news, our source adds that Harris is going to pay no mind to anything else other than his career. “He is keeping a low profile and focusing on his music and the shows he is doing. He is not seeing anyone and isn’t rebounding. He just really wants to be alone,” the source adds. “He is still processing everything. He is angry. He never heard of this Tom guy, but if that’s her type then so be it.”

Another source told E! News that she absolutely did not cheat, but an insider on Harris’ side shared that he still had his doubts. “Calvin was very suspicious that Taylor was cheating during their relationship. He just didn’t know with whom,” the source previously told us. “He feels like these pictures confirm his suspicions, and it changes everything. He is so angry and feels betrayed. He is convinced that Taylor was cheating with Tom while they were still together.”

But the Scottish musician wasn’t the only one who was suspicious at the end of the relationship. Although the source said that he was “completely faithful” to the “Out of the Woods” singer, another says he had a wandering eye. “He went looking for attention in other places,” an insider reveals. “They both weren’t getting what they needed out of the relationship. Taylor had a feeling he was with other people.”

Team Swifty was sitting on those Calvin-cheated accusations until he accused her of cheating. I’m not sure about that tit-for-tat in the press, because it makes the Tom Hiddleston thing seem more like it was designed specifically to get back at Calvin Harris rather than show the world that Tay-Tay is moving on. I mean, if you’re so focused on your new relationship, why bother sniping at your ex in the press?

Last thing: hilariously, Page Six has a story about Calvin hanging out with friends at Spartina the same day the Tiddlesbanging beach photos came out. Page Six’s witness noted that Calvin “was relatively quiet, texting and scrolling on his phone nonstop.” He was totally looking at the Tiddles photos.
