Kelly Osbourne settles lawsuit with her dad Ozzy’s ex mistress

2016 Breaking The Silence Awards - Arrivals
Earlier this year, Kelly Osbourne tweeted her father’s mistresses phone number with a crude “for a good time call” message. It was obnoxious, it was a violation of the woman’s privacy and it was placing blame on the woman for her father’s chronic inability to be faithful to Kelly mother. Blaming the other woman/women is something both Kelly and her mother, Sharon, have done multiple times. In fact Kelly called it elder abuse. She also said some truly vile things about the woman, on the record, to the press.

As a result of Kelly tweeting her number and failing to take it down or issue an apology despite multiple warnings, the mistress, Michelle Pugh, sued Kelly. Michelle also did an interview with People magazine around that time detailing her romantic relationship with Ozzy and calling him the love of her life. This is something she probably would have stayed quiet about if Kelly and Sharon hadn’t so thoroughly eviscerated her in the press. Well now Kelly and Michelle have reached an undisclosed settlement for damages, with Kelly finally deleting those tweets.

The lawsuit filed by Ozzy Osbourne’s ex-mistress Michelle Pugh against his daughter Kelly Osbourne has been privately resolved, PEOPLE confirms.

“The tweets have been removed and the lawsuit has been privately resolved. The resolution statement is mutual,” Pugh’s lawyer F. Edie Mermelstein exclusively tells PEOPLE.

The resolution comes shortly after Pugh filed an amended complaint this week in Los Angeles as a follow-up to the initial lawsuit filed by Pugh and her legal team in August.

In the complaint obtained by PEOPLE, Pugh claimed that Kelly used her Twitter account to “paint a target” on Pugh’s back “as a publicity stunt for financial gain” in the promotion for her upcoming book, There’s No F—ing Secret. Kelly tweeted out Pugh’s direct phone number and accused her of “elder abuse” when news of Pugh’s affair with Osbourne broke in May.

And although Ozzy and his wife Sharon, 63, have since put the affair behind them and gotten back together, Pugh, a hairdresser in Los Angeles, claimed she was made a target for bullying and alleged that Kelly’s actions were to blame.

Kelly has not yet commented on the situation.

Of course Michelle told People about this because she already had a relationship with them. All Kelly had to do was to keep Michelle’s name out of her mouth and she could have avoided all this. Barring that she could have taken down the tweets and apologized, which she refused to do. How much do you think this cost Kelly? I bet it was less than six figures but still significant. And of course Sharon has already taken Ozzy back, as she’s done throughout their long marriage. This same situation is going to look even more ridiculous when Ozzy is 80 and Sharon and Kelly are still attacking his mistresses.

Actually I bet it was low six figures. I doubt she would’ve settled for less

  2. Alix says:

I really want to believe Michelle took Kelly to the cleaners, big time.

  3. Astrid says:

Ridicules people! Who in their right mind would have an affair with Ozz? Who in their right mind would take Ozz back? Why blame the mistress? Drama queens

    • Div says:

They’ve always blamed the mistress, even though Sharon was once the mistress herself and Ozzy has been doing this for forty plus years.

      • Chetta B. says:

“The man who marries his mistress creates a vacancy for the position.” If it weren’t so pathetic it’d be comical the way those two always blame the women for Ozzy’s inability to keep his d*ck in his own pants. *huge eyeroll*

    • LeAnn Stinks says:

      Exactly, pot meet Kelly, uh..kettle.

I am sure Ozzy’s children, Jessica and Louis from his first wife Thelma, do not think too much of $haron, either.

  4. Div says:

I’ve always found Kelly’s fixation on other people’s infidelity a bit strange-I remember way, way back in the day (before blogs were popular and she was just known for her cr*ppy wannabe music career and the Osborne reality show) she said something truly nasty about the Jolie-Aniston-Pitt triangle even though it was none of her business.

I know it must be tough for her dad to be a serial philanderer, but Sharon straight up admits to cheating on Ozzy and Ozzy was also married when he and Sharon first got together. Basically, both of them have cheated even though Ozzy has always been way, way worse. So it’s always struck me as a bit odd, considering she idolizes her mother, to go around tossing off gendered words like homewr*cker and sl*t considering they could be tossed by someone else at her own parents. Bit of a pot calling the kettle black. And for the record, while the “other” person is guilty of a moral wrong the cheater, not the cheatee, wrecks their own home…so Ozzy is his own homewrecker.

The other woman is no innocent, but she was “keeping quiet” until Kelly kept provoking her and wouldn’t apologize for the tweets…..

    • LinaLamont says:

“…tossing off gendered words like homewr*cker…”

There’s only one homewrecker in that affair, and, that’s the person who took a vow to be faithful to the person he married. I hate when another man/woman is blamed. The other man/woman did not take a vow. It might be skanky to have an affair with a married person, but, put the blame where it belongs for homewrecking.

I hate when people aren’t held accountable for their own actions.

      • GingerCrunch says:

I listened to a Dr. Laura episode recently and it took her FOREVER to get this point through to a young gal who wanted to exact revenge on the other woman! When she realized it was all on her husband, you could really sense her devastation.

      • Harryg says:

Exactly. (By the way, I thought Ozzy and his son’s (can’t remember his name) travel show was fun, easygoing.) Can’t stand Kelly and don’t understand why she gets hired to do anything.

      • LeAnn Stinks says:

Okay, then what do call Sharon for cheating on Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, and God knows, who else??

You’re right Div, Kelly cannot afford to throw a single stone, while residing in a glass house.

      • LinaLamont says:

        @LeAnn Stinks
“Okay, then what do call Sharon for cheating on Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, and God knows, who else??”

The same as him. What’s your point? Both of them, I assume, took vows. Did Randy Rhoads take a vow with either Osbourne? I dunno…. maybe, he did. 🙂 I don’t know anything about these people’s personal lives or who they’re screwing.

      • Izzy says:

I respectfully disagree. There ARE quite a few people who get involved with married men/women and don’t know at first that they are married. But others do so knowing full well there is a spouse, and even children, who will be devastated when they eventually find out their spouse has been cheating, and the person they’re cheating with KNEW they were married.

It speaks volumes about a person’s character when they go after a married person. And what it says, isn’t nice. It is still on the married person who took vows, but actively pursuing someone who they know is married, enables the entire thing, IMO.

      • LinaLamont says:

        @Izzy
        Agree to disagree.
I’m assuming both spouses/partners are adults and have free will… to abstain from an affair.

      • LeAnn Stinks says:

        Izzy,

I am with you a thousand percent. The term for people who like to pursue married men/women are called “poachers.” Don’t quote me, I could be wrong, but I think the term originated with Elizabeth Taylor, who was notorious for that type of behavior.

Sometimes I wonder if has nothing to do with the person they are pursuing, but just the idea that they have the power to take that person away from someone else.

    • Lauraq says:

My ex cheated on me multiple times with multiple women. I understand the temptation to be angry at them at first, but with time I’ve realized that they were manipulated just like I was. I’m sure most of them were lovely people who made a mistake. Most cheaters are very charismatic and can be convincing (my ex usually told them a story about how mean I was and how I never had sex with him. “And I know it’s wrong but I’m just so drawn to you. I would never cheat usually but there’s something about you I just can’t resist” is great bait, especially to sensitive/insecure women).

  5. Snapjackson23 says:

Wow, Michelle’s really making bank isn’t she? The affair, the interview, the settlement… golddigging and having affairs with married men has always been a good payday for certain types of women. No sympathy for women without principles.

Also lol @ ‘elder abuse’. More like serial philanderer with no respect for your mother honey. Redirect your anger girl.

  6. Luca76 says:

Kelly is so vile. Twitter should have kicked her off.. I was listening to NPR of all places and they were talking about how hypocritical it was that she was allowed to keep those tweets up.

  7. Naya says:

Meh. I have more sympathy for a daughter unable to see her fathers flaws than for a woman who knowingly has an affair with her friends/employers married father and then sells her story to tabloids.

    • Luca76 says:

Has nothing to do with her personal feelings. She can blame that woman all she wants in her personal life she still was scum for putting her private information out there. This isn’t the puritanical colonies. People still have the right to live and work in peace even after committing adultery.

    • HK9 says:

My father spent his life cheating on his wives and I never acted that way. Not when I was 16, and certainly not now. Even at 16, I knew that I wouldn’t be contemplating my father’s antics if he could keep it in his pants. It’s called telling to your therapist instead of the tabloids.

  8. KittenFarts says:

Why does she cleavage look rusty in that top photo?

  9. Dhavynia says:

Kelly should have never published the woman’s number but let’s not put all the blame on Ozzie here, yes he had the affair but the woman went along with it and she knew he was married. You can hate this family all you want but what she did was bad too, doesn’t matter if they worked things out at the end, there is no excuse for what she did. I will never understand why some chose to make it one side when it takes two.
The only way I would defend her actions would be if she didn’t know he was married and that’s impossible in this case

  10. Tessa says:

Many moons ago, I wanted to be an Osborne
    – jeesh 🙁

  11. ell says:

isn’t this always the case though? a married man cheats, and it’s always the other woman’s fault; note that the other man never gets crucified and gets away with it unscathed, like matthew rhys or chris evans. why? because it’s always women doing this to each other, men wouldn’t blame another man for sleeping with their wives, they’d blame the wife, whereas wives blame the other woman always ‘who took their husbands’.

cheating isn’t nice, it breaks trusts and it’s deceiving, however life is messy and relationships can end when people fall out of love. in an ideal world we would all leave our partners before beginning a new relationship, but alas human beings are fallible. kelly osbourne is like what 30 something? grow up.

  12. Zuzus Girl says:

Kelly is and always has been a spoiled, entitled brat. Neither she nor her mother having any impulse control. Pugh was wrong to have the affair but you cannot and should not publish someones private info in this digital age of crazy fandom.

  13. MrsBPitt says:

I can’t imagine anyone wanting to have sex with Ozzy….GROSS….the mistress should have been compensated just for that!!!!!

  14. tealily says:

    God, these people are unpleasant.
