Time to dust off your best wedding clothes because it looks like Miranda Lambert is going to get married again. Miranda and boyfriend Anderson East have been together for almost a year. They got together just about the time that her former husband, Blake Shelton, went public with his romance with Gwen Stefani. And like her aforementioned ex, engagement rumors are starting to swirl around them. Just last month, we heard rumors that these two were going to make it legal. Apparently, they are both itching to get hitched and it’s all going to work out because he can’t help but spoil her. Wait, what?
Anderson East is head over heels for Miranda Lambert!
A source tells E! News exclusively that the country crooner has his sights set on marrying his girlfriend of nearly a year. “If it was up to Anderson he would marry Miranda today!” our insider reveals, adding that the couple’s friends and family think it’s “just a matter of time” before he pops the question.
Miranda, who was previously married to country music star Blake Shelton, recently celebrated her 33rd birthday, and as a source tells us, Anderson pulled out all the stops for his leading lady. In fact, the 28-year-old threw a “special celebration” on behalf of the “Vice” songstress and gave her a few “very thoughtful” gifts.
As for what makes their relationship work so well, our insider says it’s just in East’s nature to treat Lambert like the princess she is.
Anderson is a “really sweet,” “sentimental” guy, the source explains. “Even when it’s not her birthday he spoils her in his way. He tells Miranda all the time how pretty and amazing she is and how he is lucky to have her as his lady,” the insider adds to E! News.
I wish Miranda and Anderson all the best. I know that Miranda doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to monogamous relationships but it does seem like she and Blake have finally moved on. Miranda seems much more centered than she was when she was with Blake. I hope so because according to E!’s source, the immediacy of this engagement comes from Miranda’s desire to not only get married again but to have kids. I’m not sure the best reasons to get married include wanting to have kids and being treated like a princess. The way the source puts it – he spoils her, compliments her and tells her how lucky he is – sounds awfully one sided to me. However, it has been almost a year and I guess they must know who each other by this point.
As I said, engagements are speculated for both Miranda and Blake. I suppose this is not a coincidence. Either the world to see both of them moving on or they need the world to think that. Whichever it is, it sounds like we are going to have a race to the church because I doubt we can talk them into a double wedding.

I wonder if she’s more gunshy about flaunting her relationship after her marriage crashed and burned in the public eye? Blake could take some tips from her.

I was in a relationship like that. It gets old fast. It’s great when your partner wants to spoil you occasionally, but when its constant, it might mean they’re trying to make you stay when you both know it’s not right.

He is so off-putting to me. I’m attracted to quirky looking guys, but there is something about the way his face looks that just throws me. He reminds me of all the worst parts of Benedict Cumberbatch.

I think they have more in common than she did with Blake. They are also singing and song writing together. She was always worried about Blakes heavy drinking amd running around. They had huge trust issues. Blake is going to look very old in 5 years. Hard living shows already on his face and body. This guy is going to look young forever. Go girl.

I wish them the very best. He seems like a very nice young man and I love that he’s smitten with her. She deserves that. Blake was too “busy” and full of himself. She’s down to earth and real and needs someone who appreciates this and let’s her shine. She seems like she’s pulling away as I don’t think she’s one for public displays of affection. You can tell though she is devoted to anderson east. They have their music and friends in common. And…he most likely won’t be moving to Los Angeles to be on a tv show.
