Jessica Biel has given up trying to mother bad boys, and now spends her nights in with girlfriends playing scrabble.
Jessica, 25, told Glamour magazine: “I have done the mothering thing of trying to save a bad boy, but I don’t think it works so I stopped.
“When you’re in a relationship you always have a moment when you disappear for a while but my friends are great.
“I wouldn’t let them get away with it. I will not let some man take my girlfriends away!
“We do a lot of dinner parties and we play board games. I love Scrabble and I also enjoy Apples to Apples, which is a mindless game where you learn weird things about people – it’s really silly and goes well with a glass of wine.”
Why are you either a hard partying playgirl, or a boring person who plays board games? Isn’t there a middle ground, where you’re just a person who likes to go out and party, but not every night? You don’t have to give yourself dull credentials Jessica, although you do try very hard.
“I’m such a homebody it’s embarrassing. But I feel I went through that phase when I was in my late teens and sneaking into places like everybody does.
“But when I turned 21 I just got over it. Got over the crowds, the expensive drinks and all the people.”
Yeah, like she pays for her own drinks.
Picture note by Celebitchy: Jessica Biel is shown in the header image on 8/6. She hasn’t turned mousy overnight, she’s on the set of her new film, Powder Blue, with Ray Liotta. I was going to say that she probably gets super hot by the end of the film, but according to IMDB it might take place on one night. The plot summary is “Four desperate individuals intersect in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.” At least they offset her lack of makeup by also forgetting to to give her a bra.
