When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were together (like, for-real together), they traveled to Cambodia many times. It wasn’t always publicized, but Angelina liked to check in on the foundation she started in Cambodia, which involves a conservation program, de-mining initiative and more. While Brad probably never had the deep emotional connection Angelina had and has with Cambodia, he never shied away from visiting. So… here’s an interesting story. Someone (WHO?) wants you to know that Brad flew in to Cambodia secretly last year while Angelina was working. And not just that, but Brad apparently went to Cambodia at the same time as Angelina’s promotional trip in February. Huh.
While Angelina Jolie was filming First They Killed My Father in Cambodia with her kids in tow, Brad Pitt was taking trips whenever he could to spend time with their children. A source confirms to E! News that Pitt was in Cambodia “most of the time except when it conflicted with his own shoot schedule.” A second source shares that the former couple’s six children, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, Knox Jolie-Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Pax Jolie-Pitt, split time between Brad and Angelina while they go to see Cambodia’s sights.
“All through production and filming, and on her most recent press trip, Brad came to Cambodia in secret to spend time with the kids,” the second source shares. “They were with Angelina for probably 75 percent of the time when Brad was in the country and they’d go back and forth between her and Brad.”
The insider also says “some or all” of the kids would leave Cambodia to fly to Los Angeles to spend time with their dad. “He wasn’t in Cambodia the entire time they filmed, but he made multiple trips there to spend time with the kids,” the source adds.
What started as as a seemingly contentious divorce has ultimately become what appears to be a private journey, the sole focus of which is the children. “Things have calmed settled between Brad and Angelina. It’s not as tense as it had been,” a source told E! News last week. “They are focused on the kids and working to do what’s best for them.”
After a rocky six months since announcing their split, “Brad has been able to spend more time with the kids. He’s doing well and is focused on healthy, clean living. He’s in a good place.”
First thing – it’s not shocking or noteworthy that Brad went to Cambodia last year while Angelina was working on First They Killed My Father. He and Angelina were still married and getting along. That was months before The Plane Incident. Why are we hearing about it now? Oh, right, because someone (WHO?) wants to ensure that he looks like Perfect Hollywood Dad. As for Brad flying to Cambodia in February to spend time with the kids… huh. That would be one explanation for why there wasn’t some huge back-and-forth in the press about Angelina taking the kids out of the country for a few weeks. Very interesting.

I read somewhere that Pitt’s rep has denied he visited Cambodia during the recent trip, so I assume the story came from someone else.
Only gossip cop is denying other sites are saying nothing about this deny.
There was a blind about this about 3 weeks ago. Today it is up as “solved”, except they say he was in Thailand (a 30 minute flight) and claim to know where he stayed, although they haven’t divulged that. So… his reps could legitimately deny he was in Cambodia and still be correct.
Personally, I hope they’ve worked things out to the point that things like this can happen. It’s much better for the kids.
With stories like this one, it’s hard to tell EXACTLY who is leaking. It could be Brad himself. But let’s not pretend that he’s not more bankable as a doting dad – and a lot of people benefit from that. Hollywood is a disturbing business, and at the end of the day, their product is people. I don’t doubt that he IS/WAS a good dad in a lot of ways. But clearly there was at least one huge issue. It doesn’t completely negate all the good he’s done – but it does mean he has a LOT of work to do and he owes it to his kids first and foremost to fix whatever was broken.
We’ll seems Brad’s people are still leaking to the press. That whole article sounds like straight pr for Brad.
Exactly so many leaks coming from his camp between last week and this week alone… He seems desperate for people to believe what he is selling and i wonder why… I thought the general consensus was that he was winning the “war” in the press. or maybe he is paying back the press with the exclusive he promised.
I totally love how sources close to Angelina are so quite and i am very sure it hurts his camp because they must have been expecting the back and forth… but Angie is like nah let him make a fool of himself.
Right!..They were married & there are pics of them amongst locals etc & also getting tatted up together..I don’t know…Angelina seems like the type that once her minds made up,she’s done…but I don’t know,With the news of Brangie As of late,I don’t think them coming back together is out of the picture..that or..Naturally they want to co-parent in a positive manner…even though I’m not happy with Brad lately…I do want them back together🙈

a few months ago, I would have said NO WAY to this, but who knows? very few of us ever thought they’d split and that happened, so a reconciliation is not out of the picture. unlikely, but not impossible.
however, both of them have looked so much happier/healthier/better since the split that I suspect they were having issues (maybe minor but plentiful, maybe major…who knows?) for a while and splitting might have been the best thing for both of their and the kids well being.

Just how desperate for any news on this family that media are quoting blind items as facts.Blind gossip repeatedly make stories up. Saw a site where a blogger made one up & sent one in & they printed it. Blind gossip are notorious for seeing what’s happening in entertainment news & creating a blind out of it.
E News must be desperate to report some news on these 2 because to take something from Blind Gossip and spin it as news is ridiculous.

For what reason? It’s not helping her any. Either this came from Brad’s camp or the tabloids are making sh*t up as per usual.

If she leaked it, it’s because people are saying she’s an evil beetch for denying him access to their kids, and this leak says she gave him time with the kids. It’s also a subtle way to remind people he had drug and alcohol issues – note reference to him being clean now.
I think if he was there with them it would be a great way to spend time with his kids while his ex was busy.

I wouldn’t say he didn’t go remember his security team was with Angie when they went into the airport and when she came back. People were questioning that. Plus the statement made on GMA threw everybody for a loop. I remember a passenger on the plane who stated she had no nannies or bodyguards with 6 kids. This will also explain who the kids stayed behind with when she flew into Geneva and went to her different meetings and lecture.
Also this leak by BP that they were talking again 2 days after she returned. I don’t find it impossible to believe nor wrong to do this. She had her hands full good of him to help.
This news has been on the blind sites for almost a month now, he was in Thailand not Cambodia and the kids spent time with him there. Another part of the blind was that Kate Hudson was trying very hard to make them a couple and flew out to Thailand at the same time, staying at another hotel, he told the staff at the resort or house he was staying at that he didn’t want to see her and she flew back home and found another boyfriend for PR.
