Re HW’s denial: I remember reading Elizabeth Smart’s captor/rapist saying he had created a “happy family”. The man who imprisoned and repeatedly raped the Cleveland 3 for a decade said similar things. You just can’t apply rational thought to these creeps.

Lori, I feel the same way. But then, I noticed that lot of people are trying to make a difference, that changes the way I feel. There’s still hope, but you have to find it (sorry, i’m not eloquence and English is not my first language)
Its my second language too.
Mostly women are speaking out though. And the men Ive read speak out seem to admit that yeah they suspected but didnt do anything. That doesnt sound like attempting change to me.
But I’m a pessimist so maybe Im not seeing all the progress.
