Here are some photos of Charlotte Casiraghi with her boyfriend Dimitri Rassam at the Rose Ball in Monaco over the weekend. I didn’t even notice this in early March, but Charlotte and Dimitri also attended the Cesar Awards in Paris too, so I’m including some photos of them from that event as well. Charlotte broke up with her baby-daddy Gad Elmaleh for good in 2015, and since then, she’s been happily dating a few dudes. Apparently, Dimitri has been around for a year. He’s French, of Lebanese descent, and a film producer in France. He’s 36 and Charlotte is 31. And now they’re engaged?
Grace Kelly’s glamorous granddaughter appeared to confirm her engagement to her film producer boyfriend as she joined Monaco’s high society at a charity ball last night. Charlotte Casiraghi, 31, daughter of Princess Caroline of Hanover, looks set to tie the knot with the dashing Dimitri Rassam, 36, after a whirlwind year-long romance. The couple looked the picture of happiness as they arrived for the annual Rose Ball in Monte Carlo, with Charlotte debuting a glittering diamond on her ring finger.
Caroline, 61, who is married to Prince Ernst August of Hanover, looked delighted by the news, beaming as she arrived for the black tie event with fashion designer Karl Largerfeld.
Hola! reported the couple were engaged earlier this month, however this is the first time Charlotte and Dimitri have confirmed the speculation, according to sister publication Hello! The couple are reportedly keen to marry quickly and are planning to wed in a ceremony this summer.
Even though Charlotte was with Gad Elmaleh for years and they have a son together, they never got married. Which is fine because Charlotte has the best of both worlds – she’s not really royal, she doesn’t have a title, but she’s royal-adjacent enough to be rich and popular and all she has to do is show up for a few events in Monaco every year and she’s fine. Meaning, no one expects her to follow some super-conservative path of “first you have to be married before you have a baby with some dude.” But now that she’s with Hottie McFrenchman, suddenly she’s all about getting married. I’m fine with that too – people change, and what people want changes too. They’re both hot and I can’t wait to see their wedding photos. I bet she has a baby with Dimitri too.

She’s stunning and her messy romantic seems to run in the family. Her new dude looks like yet another unreliable sleaze.
Does he? He is the son of the actress Carole Bouquet so quite posh and conservative background. Gad Elmaleh was a stand up comedian much older than her (and from a poor background as far as I know) and it made sense that they did not go immediately for the wedding.
To me it feels that she finally found a husband that doesn’t clash with the royalty milieu.
I was just thinking of the possibility of the combined beauty genes of Grimaldi and Bouquet.
Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think the Kelly genes are beautiful. Grace was beautiful, but her siblings and Albert who is all Kelly, are quite plain.
Grimaldi genes on the other hand are outstanding. Charlotte, Pauline as well as Caroline and Stephanie are pure Grimaldi and they are stunning. Even Stephanie who ruined her good looks with fast living.
Add in Carole Bouquet…..i can’t wait to see the combination.
Dimitri Rassam is the son of Carole Bouquet, one of the most gorgeous and respected actress in France (actually Charlotte looks a lot like her… a less prettier version of Carole ).
His mom comes from old money.
And his dad was a Lebanese banker, from a wealthy family.

I’m not sure anyone expects the Monaco royals to do the conservative marriage-then-baby route. Her aunt had all three kids out of wedlock and never married the father of her youngest. Caroline was pregnant when she married husbands 2 and 3. And wasn’t at least one of her sisters-in-law pregnant when she married into the family?
Do they plan their pregnancies? The out-of-wedlock pregnancies happen so frequently in that family, I’m not figuring they must be planned. It almost seems as though they actively plan to do everything in reverse. People this wealthy can’t possibly be that terrible with birth control.
To clarify, I don’t care in what order people plan their families if the kids can be taken care of. But I guess I always assumed they had oopsie pregnancies, but it happens so frequently for them I don’t see how that can be the case.

Charlotte Casiraghi has interesting taste in men, I’ll give her that. Both of her brothers married extremely well, to partners they were with for a long time. Charlotte on the other hand seems to be going to Stephanie route, albeit with more respectable men.
Her brothers married into money.
Charlotte inherited vastly more of her fathers money than them, so that’s not a priority for her.
I don’t remember Stefano Casiraghi being nearly that wealthy (especially considering thenrumor that he was killed because of mob debt). Charlotte’s the odd one out – Pierre & Andrea have their fabulously wealthy wives, Alexandra & Caroline with the Hanover money.
Stefano died because he was traveling in a boat with no canopy and no harness at 93 miles per hour, not to mention the weather produced dangerous four foot swells that day. No mafia could have replicated those conditions. Also Stefano held several lucrative construction and real estate interests and was a son of a wealthy, shrewd industrialist multimillionaire. The assumption was that he was a pish sugar baby for his wife but he was independently wealthy.

The Henri Paul situation did spring to mind! Not to be in delicate but Dianna was killed by a success of round of pineapple schnapps, quite literally. As far as Stefano is concerned The mafia rumors are not quite ridiculous because he barely survived a previous accident where in his boat actually exploded. I’m certainly not prepared to say that was an accident, however the one that ultimately took his life was just a string of unfortunate circumstances and the consequence of some heedless decisions. He definitely should’ve been wearing a harness to say the least. However, it is interesting to note that earlier in that particular speed boat race he and his partner had stopped to give assistance to another racing crew who’s boat had caught fire. It was their haste to make up the lost time that led to the crash.

Yes, the book written by The bridesmaid’s daughter? About her mother living in homeless shelters? So she writes a book about her poor and homeless mother. Something is very wrong about this.
It was about her mother’s friendship with Grace Kelly. They were both living at Barbizon and she encouraged her to try modeling. Then the ways their lives went in diffeeent directions. Her mother had a breakdown after her sister died from a car accident and how her family tried to help her mother. There was more to it.
