Real Housewife of Beverly Hills fixture Lisa Rinna must be needing a little social media love, as evidenced by a gratuitous Instagram snap she recently posted. The 54-year-old actress instagrammed a photo Thursday, showing off her toned bod in a red bikini. In the caption, she shared her secrets to rocking skimpy swimwear, stating, “I do yoga. 25 years of it. What do you do? Oh and I spin and hike too. Oh and I’m real consistent. Like really.”
I will give credit where credit is due here, Lisa does have a fab physique, and I’m sure she’s worked for it. Facially, I think she’s had some help. But I refuse to judge, as if I could afford it, I’d get fillers and such too.
Back in 2014, Lisa told PEOPLE that she follows a free and loose diet. She explained, “I don’t love to use the word diet because if I do, I’ll just want to eat 10 times more. Moderation is key.” She went on to call herself a “dirty vegan,” defining this diet strategy as, “I’m mostly plant-based — but if I do need to eat some meat, I’ll have it.” Yeah, Lisa, I don’t think you grasp the concept of being vegan. Like, at all. Heck, I’m still a vegetarian, but sometimes I eat buffalo wings and sushi, so, according to Lisa’s definition, I’m a “dirty vegetarian.” I dig it.
She may be living a lie diet-wise, but Lisa does put in the work when it comes to staying toned. She told PEOPLE that she worked out six days a week, participating in spin and yoga classes. She said “it’s really good to move everyday,” and credited her spin and yoga with keeping her “balanced and sane.” She went on to add that, “I’ve been my own dietician and workout therapist for years. I think you have to listen to your body.”
And, if you’re not quite as committed to classes and diet, you can pick up a little number from Lisa’s fashion collection on QVC, which is described as “comfy cozy California chic.” She showed off the latest addition to her collection on Friday, a flowy, one-piece sleeveless jumpsuit. I know this outfit is for my demo, but something about it just screams “I give up.” Thoughts?

She seems funny. That said, I always felt plastic surgery ruined her face and unique look.
The only person I like plastic surgery on is Cher. Am I crazy?
For me it’s Kim. Money well spent if you ask me.
“Seems” is the right word
She’s legit one of the most messed up insecure people I’ve seen on a Housewife show. I never understood her lip implant until watching her be a housewife. Also, she’s very mean. I’d give her a wide berth in real life.
She has had work done but she doesn’t look bad to me. Her eyes look pretty natural and if anything maybe a bit overboard on fillers at times, but that is an easy mistake to make. Her body is ridiculous and she probably doesn’t eat much. I wish I had her consistency.
I don’t know why but I thought she and her husband had broken up. I must be getting my Hollywood scandals confused, lol.
She looks great and I think I get what she said about her diet. That she tries to stay plant based but sometimes craves meat. I don’t think that’s too uncommon. I also agree with her that consistency is key when it comes to fitness, especially as you get older.
I was in line with her at Starbucks at LAX one time, and she’s one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen in real life. Her skin is amazing!
Weird. She has a look tonight acne on her cheeks on the show. Beautiful eyes tho
Oops phone changed my words . On housewives you can see a lot of acne in her cheeks.
Her “dirty vegan” phrasing is odd, but I know lots of people who eat in a similar way. I call it a 5-day vegan. I eat vegan about 5 days/week but will add a little dairy or an egg here and there when I really want something
Me too! Inspired by the anti-inflammatory diet (for arthritis)… I allow myself eggs once a week and chicken once a week, and fish once or twice. No dairy ever. For convenience, I call this “mostly vegan” because 90% of the meals I eat are vegan.
I think the white blazer says given up- but it’s not an awful jumpsuit. I’ve never purchased a full length one (the thought of stripping down to my waist to go to the bathroom in public grosses me out) but if I decided to give something like this a try, I’d pair it with black strappy heels and nothing else.
Well, maybe a pair of chandelier earrings and a clutch.
She looks pretty damn good for 54, and at least she owns her age! Yes, her face has seen a few fillers, but she owns that too. I like her, I can’t help it.
A vegan who gets their lips blown up with man made fillers seems a bit contradictory to me.
I totally get what she means about as soon as she even says the “diet” word she wants to eat all.of.the.things. I read Intuitive Eating years ago and have been effortlessly at my perfect weight ever since. If I do much as think that maybe I need to watch what I eat I’m immediately bloated. It’s ALL about listening to yourself, trusting yourself, and eating and working out in a way that makes you feel amazing! Period.
Huh! I’m glad to hear that. I’m currently reading Intuitive Eating and I’m trying to get back on track. Unfortunately, my “intuition” really liked candy… lol! Fingers crossed that it finally falls into place and I can get down to a healthy weight.
I think she is really pretty and fit, although for my taste, a little too thin fit. But I don’t think she would wear that jumpsuit anywhere…..not even to yoga, spin or hiking.
Is botox vegan?
Cheek fillers…why does anyone think it’s attractive or makes you look younger? The fillers just make you look like…well..like you have fillers. Oh well.
I’ve always had a soft spot for her. She seems harmless enough. I hope to look that good at 54! And she’s married to Harry Hamlin who I have always loved. He was the Sexiest Man Alive in 1987, I was 9, I’ll never forget…lmao!!!
If we could not make the term “dirty vegan” a thing, that would be great.
She works hard to stay fit, but spinning, yoga and hiking are not why she’s as slim as she is. Part of it might be genetics, but I bet she doesn’t eat more than 1,400 calories a day. I have plenty of friends in their late 40s who are as active as she is and maybe 2 who are that thin. The rest of them eat.
I’ve done yoga for 20 years. I’m a certified yoga instructor. And I am NOT skinny! 🙁
I like her philosophy, food wise. I don’t like classifying how I eat either. I find that if I think about it too much, I get hungrier. I eat when I’m hungry. I stop when I feel a little ways away from being full. I eat lots of veggies. I’m a vegetarian, I consume dairy, but my background means that a lot of my food is very carbs heavy. But it works for me. I do my best. I do want to exercise a lot more than I do right now though.
Yeah, I’m a “dirty vegan” too. 🙄
