I’ve never really noticed this before, but Joshua Kushner is definitely “the cuter” Kushner brother. Jared Kushner always looks he smelled a rancid fart (Resting Fart-Sniffing Face), but Joshua looks sort of like the “cool guy” in a teen movie. Anyway, Joshua Kushner and Karlie Kloss have been together for six years. They don’t flaunt their love but they don’t hide either. They’re just sort of low-key about it. Which makes it extra surprising that Karlie and Joshua both chose to announce their engagement on their respective Instagrams.

I wonder about those vague rumors that an engagement could be coming for Tay-Tay and Joe Alwyn. I wonder if Karlie was trying to get ahead of Taylor. But I truly have no idea. I find it a bit offensive that it would be called “delusional” to question if one is gay. It shouldn’t be an offensive question. Neither has come out as straight/gay/bi/pan/asexual etc (nor do they need to), so what would be delusional in thinking one is bi or gay? It’s Hollywood, there will always be a debate. I don’t care what they are, and I don’t like either, but I notice a lot of Taylor fans get super defensive over the mention of Taylor liking anything other than men.

Where is she lacking in regards to morality? She gives to charity, she’s doing her bit to get girls into coding, she is by all accounts a supremely down-to-earth, nice person (I know people who’ve met her). She openly voted for Hillary, she has marched for women, she has openly and publicly opposed several of Trump’s policies. She has been with Joshua since long before Trump ran for president. Joshua Kushner also openly voted for Hillary and attended the women’s march. He is not his brother or his brother’s in-laws. He is not his own father either. Spousal privilege doesn’t apply to in-laws or anyone other than your actual spouse, and even then it is rather narrowly applied and not just a blanket privilege.

While I despise Joshua’s family, the fact that she voted for Hilary and that he might well have, too, says a lot to me. My father comes from an awful, cruel, abusive, criminal family, but he was the “rebel”, and as kind, honest, gentle, and law abiding as a person can be. While understandable, all of this judgment towards him and them both seems a little too hasty, as well as not entirely thoughtful or fair.
