I’m not completely dismissing the obvious conspiracy theory about this Khloe Kardashian-Tristan Thompson breakup story. Of course I find it shady that Tristan cheated with someone within the Kardashian-Jenner bubble, Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods. Of course this could absolutely be a Kris Jenner plot. But if you go all-in with that conspiracy, you’re missing one of the messier reads of what happened: Khloe and Tristan were probably broken up already, which means it wasn’t so much “cheating” as “Tristan hooking up with someone family-adjacent because he doesn’t give a sh-t.” That’s what I don’t get: why are supposed to get so worked up about Tristan being “unfaithful” yet again when for weeks were hearing that Tristan and Khloe weren’t even together anymore? Anyway, there’s a treasury of shenanigans, quotes and stories about this, so here are some pieces of gossip:
The Kardashian-Jenners didn’t believe the story at first. From People’s source: “When they first started hearing on Monday that Tristan made out with Jordyn, no one really believed it. That Tristan would be inappropriate, yes everyone knows that he can’t behave, but that Jordyn would make out with him, it first seemed like a made up rumor. It wasn’t anything they wanted to drop. So several family members reached out to people they believed had been at the party. And they were told it was true.”
Jordyn’s future with the family: “It’s all mess now. Everyone considered Jordyn family. And this doesn’t seem like the kind of betrayal that can be forgiven.” Yikes, they’re making the Kardashians sound like the mob.
Jordyn is moving out of Kylie’s house. Jordyn lived in Kylie’s guest house, and now she’s moving out and moving back in with her mom. Jordyn is reportedly “broken up about it.”
Tristan is not broken up about anything. Tristan DGAF. An insider told Us Weekly: “Tristan isn’t a manipulative person. He’s just a cheater and doesn’t care about anyone besides himself, his wants and his needs in the moment. He doesn’t even think him hooking up with Jordyn is ‘bad’ because him and Khloé [Kardashian] were broken up in his mind. He just truly doesn’t care.” That’s the thing though – I’m starting to believe they were already broken up!! In which case Tristan is a dog but he didn’t “cheat” on Khloe with Jordyn because he wasn’t with Khloe.
Tristan was fooling around with women constantly. I think Tristan never stopped cheating on Khloe, to be clear. Even when they were together after she had the baby and they were, like, trying to make it work, he was still cheating. He was also seen grinding and grabbing on some women days before the Jordyn Woods thing too. Oh well.

This. Shows me that she was utterly expendable in the eyes of Kylie and her family. Not surprised (people with tons of money + weird habits tend to make decisions like this one) but it’s still shocking to witness.
From what we could tell the entire family, not just Kylie, thought of Jordyn as family. Khloe invited her to baby showers, etc. and hired her for one of her ad campaigns for her jeans. While she and Tristan may have been broken up, I can imagine it would feel like a betrayal for someone so close to the family to hook up with a messy recent ex and baby father.
Even with the recent breakup. I relate because someone I had been close to started dating a man I’d been on and off with for a a couple of years. She knew I was crazy about him and had been close confidant of mine throughout the situation. Just a 2-3 months before they started dating he had blown me off for New Year’s Eve and she and her then boyfriend invited me to hang with them. I was massively hurt and other friends of ours couldn’t understand how she did that. They all knew the history. I was also very angry at him (and cut off contact) but the friend betrayal hurt more because she had been such a close confidant and knew how hurt I was by the whole situation.

I agree. It is a Kris storyline. I loathe the whole family but I have to admit this is a decent storyline. It brings Khloe and Tristan to a believable close and allows her to play the brave single mother angle while a Kardashian-adjacent male plays the cheating dog. And it brings in the manufactured outrage of a family-type (BFF) betrayal that everyone can get behind. Yup, this is a good (fake) story.
I don’t agree, because I don’t believe that Jordyn would buy into this. Think of it: she currently is part of the K inner circle, gets tons of jobs and endorsements and connections from being there. And she gets a place to live. By going along with this storyline she loses her home, her inner circle (since I’m assuming Kylie is her closest friend), her legitimacy, her connections to get future jobs, her free ride to Kylie’s extravagant lifestyle, AND she becomes hated on social media and becomes infamous for being an (unkind sexist word). She’d be like the new Becky.
So it’s ALL LOSING for Jordyn. She gains nothing. She wouldn’t sign up for this. I think she’s just dumb and self-destructive OR she also wanted ‘out’ from being controlled by the Kardashians and forced their hand just as much as Tristan did. Either way, this is not a good look for her and I don’t believe she’d do it as a storyline.
I think she negotiated a comeback where she’ll be a hero somehow and they’ll all forgive her. Until then, she gets to hang the hoax over their heads as a blackmail tool to get perks while she deals with the outrage. When I was younger, I had a pretty serious drinking problem… and I wound up waking up horrified by my decisions the night before more than once. I’m not proud of that, but if this story is true it’s possible Jordan has similar issues. You never know. I would imagine her lifestyle lends itself to such things. I can totally believe it’s a storyline, but these things aren’t exactly unheard of in the real world either. I feel bad for Jordyn. Her glow up has been amazing. And yes, I know she has had some work done… but, damn… she either did less than Kylie or went to a better doctor, because Jordyn looks great now. I wanted to see her win because it can’t have been fun back when everyone was talking about her tooth gap and her weight. I hope she leaves the Kardashian’s and finds success on her own.

It was fine when they allowed underaged kylie to start sleeping with Tyga while he was with Blac Chyna, while kim & chyna were still friends and attending each others children’s birthday parties.
It was fine when kylie started sleeping with travis Scott and immediately got pregnant, despite his previous relationship with family friend Justine Skye.
It’s also fine to keep pretending that khloe is ‘Armenian’ when everyone knows kris cheated on Rob Sr.
But now we’re all supposed to be outraged because Jordyn decided to pass the time the time with a single man just because she has ties to Kylie? I think not.
Cheating and screwing other people is what this family’s entire fortune is built on. Karma always comes back around.
Nobody believes Khloe is a biological Kardashian, but she’s one of them, blood or not. Same mother, different father, just like the Jenner sisters.

why are we so gullible? This looks as fake as every Jenner made story. Khloe loves martyrdom, they need storylines, there will be a reconciliation.
The mob analogy is apt. The Kardashian-Jenner clan buys the favor of their “friends” and demands loyalty. Kris puts out tabloid “hits” on anyone who dares to cross them. It’s so transactional and the loyalty is all one sided.
I don’t know. A couple of months ago Jordyn got all cosmetically improved and closed the gap in her teeth and lost a ton of weight. I thought that was a precursor to her playing a bigger role in the show and bring written more into the script. And then what do you know they decided let’s go along with Jordyn makes out with Tristan thereby giving closure to the Khloe and Tristan storyline. They are all on the payroll so no new non disclosures necessary. Khloe and Tristan broke up a looong time ago so they needed to fabricate a reason in the storyline. Think about it, when the news first broke Tristan said fake news and then deleted. Also they are all friends on insta except for Kim who loves to be dramatic.
This is so scripted. In a couple of months, Jordyn will have her own spin-off reality show about “life without Kylie” or something, and eventually them renewing their friendship will be a storyline and this will all come full circle. Wait for it.
Judging by Jordyn’s bored face in the top picture she looks like she was pretty over the whole compulsory selfie shot every 2 minutes. But think this is all fake as hell like everything that family does.
Sure, technically, morally, ethically, cheating is wrong. Jordyn made a mistake, she is in the wrong as is Tristan by far.
That doesn’t mean the Kardashians (who are repeatedly, consistently antagonistic and racist to black women, not to mention other woc through their stealing and mockery of us) are sympathetic.
They are angry at Jordyn because this vile family are under the delusion that they are smarter than black women and better than us, they aren’t even angry at the betrayal, it’s that someone whom they deem as “lesser” got one over on them.
Anyone who follows black gossip blogs knows they’ve done this to many other black women and actively schemed to do so. Jordyn is 21, was blackout drunk and getting attention from a rich, “goodlooking” dude who she probably already admired.
It’s honestly disturbing but not surprising to see people side or even pity that racist bully Khloe or even extend her any sympathy when she goes out of her way to harm black women over and over again.
Remember that these are millionaires with power and influence and they are throwing a young black woman under the bus to distract from Kim’s fashion nova under the table scams. Remember that the Kardashians were happy to let their underage baby sister date a grown man, that they love and welcome the abusive drunk ex of Kourtney, that they support Rob who had a child with his baby sister’s enemy! Remember that Kim is married to a right wing, anti-black, color-struck bully who harassed his ex-girlfriend for over 5 years. Their so-called “morals” are bullsh*t.
I hope Jordyn is okay and has protection from this sick family, I hope she learns her lesson and stays far away from them.
They are certainly getting a lot of mileage out of this story. On people.com, there are at least 4 different angles. I guess we’re getting a preview of next season’s KUWTK. Khloe and Tristan haven’t been a couple for a while, but in true Kar-Jenner fashion, she couldn’t just say “we broke up”; no, there has to be a huge drama/storyline, she gets to be a martyr and he gets to be the bad guy. In exchange for being the sacrificial lamb, Jordyn gets publicity (seriously, who knew her name previously even if you’ve seen her?) and probably a nice payday.
