I agree. She looks so totally different and not in a good way. She’s so beautiful but I’m just not feeling the hair color.
I like her so much better with darker hair, but they look great next to each other.

Taking Friday afternoon off to see a Captain Marvel matinee! Can’t wait.

Going to see Captain Marvel on Sunday — I can’t wait! They’ve done a few movies together now and seem like good friends. SLJ seems like a super cool guy.
I wish I could get more excited about Captain Marvel because I like Brie, and I like Marvel, but the US military capitalizing on the film to essentially advertise war to young people is so f*cking creepy to me. Ugh, just ants all over my body levels of discomfort.
On a more pleasant note, Samuel L Jackson has such a lovely smile. I’ve always felt it lit up a whole room when you saw it.
Same here… Especially since it marketed to inspire young girls. On one hand it was unavoidable given the character’s background… that again they could’ve retconned as a NASA pilot or something, on the other, I didn’t expect to be so in your face.
Getting a group together to go see this next week. Hope it does well! Brie and Sam seem to enjoy working together.

Rarely did a movie make me this angry. I’m a Marvel fangirl, read the comics when I was a tween, I was so, so excited. Marvel studios finally sh*t the bed.
So, they didn’t trust Brie to carry the movie and gave her a funny male sidekick. So, they didn’t trust their story enough and they pandered to toxic fanboys like it’s their last chance to milk a superhero property ever. I have never ever heard so many stupid dick jokes in a Marvel film. Anette Benning was totally miscast. Why the f*ck is it so damn important to show that “girls like pretty clothing”. What the everloving f*ck was that stuff with Carol not being able to control her emotions. At one point I was bracing myself for Jude Law to ask if it’s that time of the month.
