Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was all about the Tristan Thompson-Jordyn Woods drama. That drama went down in February and early March. I actually remember the timeline pretty well, because before the news came out about Jordyn and Tristan maybe-hooking up at a party, we were reading stories about how Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan was on its last leg. Khloe and Tristan were barely spending any time together, and there were widespread rumors that they had already broken up by the time he was coming on to Jordyn. So to see Khloe act like she and Tristan were super-solid and Jordyn “destroyed her family” always came across as a bit delusional on Khloe’s part. Well, everything old is new again – a source reconfirmed to People Magazine that yeah, Khloe and Tristan were already over.
When news about Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods‘ tryst broke earlier this year, his relationship with Khloé Kardashian was already on the rocks, according to a source.
“When the Jordyn drama happened, Khloé and Tristan were not in a proper relationship,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They had not been for weeks. They didn’t even spend Valentine’s Day together, which was right before he messed around with Jordyn.”
While the scandal was heartbreaking for Kardashian — who shares 14-month-old daughter True with Thompson — to learn about, she was still hopeful of reconciling with the 28-year-old NBA star.
“But this doesn’t mean that it was completely over for Khloé. It was very difficult for her to find out about Tristan and Jordyn. But this is what made her realize that Tristan would never change,” says the source. “It was heartbreaking for her.” For Kardashian, “she always hoped there was a way things could work out, because that’s what she wanted for True,” the source explains. “She wanted True to live with both her parents.”
I’ve said for months that Tristan cheated on Khloe so many times because he was trying to force her to dump him. He couldn’t believe that she was still clinging to him after he humiliated her repeatedly. Even after the Jordyn thing, if Tristan had gone to Khloe and pinky-swore to keep it in his pants for a week, Khloe would have taken him back and been posting happy-family Instagrams that very day. No, it just got to a point where Tristan realized that Khloe was never going to dump him, so he just found a way to exit the relationship in the messiest way possible so – he thought – there would be no going back. Joke’s on him, because Khloe would still take him back. Anyway… yeah, I feel for Jordyn.

Agree. Jordyn knew about all the drama and still hit it. Not only she wasn’t nice to her friend’s sister, she was completely stupid since she depended on them for work and living. If you’re gonna burn your bridges, at least do it with some intelligence.

So her bc hooks up with her “mom”’s baby daddy and very well might have been on the way out bf? That’s terrible. She didn’t cause the end of K and T, but what she did was a betrayal. Pretty much my exact feelings. Khloe might have “had it coming” with how she handled Tristan’s first baby mama, but Jordyn didn’t exactly handle it well either (yes I know she’s young, but still).

I was only watching the episode to see how they were going to reenact and reframe this. The bit before the scandal broke, how Khloe made big renovations to their home, to have his and hers closets etc. Hilarious. They have no shame.
What baffels me, how everyone in the family said: yeah, we know what Tristan is capable of BUT JORDYN!!!! So if you know, why cling to him? For the daughter it makes no difference, as he always lived in Cleveland and is on the road all the time. And for her posting family pics on IG- no one believes her anyways. Why does she wants to teach her daughter to stay in a bad relationship.

Khloe could have rewritten her story by giving birth to her baby without him. And named the baby not a Thompson. There was no grace in the handling of any of this.

Yeah, no. I would consider “just a kiss” to be cheating. Maybe that makes me a big old prude but too bad. Just because kissing doesn’t mean anything to you doesn’t mean it isn’t meaningful for someone else.
There’s conflicting reports. Some people say she was all over him at the party, they were making out, she was cuddling in his lap, etc. Her version was that she stayed until 7 am but only had her legs over him at one point and that he kissed her when she was leaving, not in front of everyone. My guess is that it was closer to a hook-up than what Jordyn shared, because her version made her sound super sympathetic and without much responsibility (“he kissed ME!”). But we’ll never know.
Ultimately I think Khloe should have known who he was as soon as she found out he had a pregnant “ex”, and I believe they were broken up when whatever happened with him and Jordyn happened. But I still think Jordyn is also in the wrong because she’s been so close to this family for so long that even if Tristan was technically single, you don’t fool around with your friend’s baby daddy right after they split.

She (Jordyn) didn’t “get” with Tristan. He ABUSED a young girl while drunk to the point of not knowing where she was. HUGE MeToo moment which nobody ever found weird or gross at all. She said repeatedly that she didnt know where she was, she didnt know how she got there or when. Basically Khloe blasted him for Rape but nobody noticed.
That has long been my theory – they were no longer together. Maybe Khloe thought they would get back together or maybe she wanted a better show for the story. Even the way they addressed the fact that he was staying at his own rental house when the incident happened screams to me that they were not together and it wasn’t just that he had friends in town.
Or he was just a huge cheater? Cheaters will make up all sorts of excuses about “going out of town” or reasons for not coming home to their partner or disappearing on a Friday night. Happened to me frequently for years with my cheater boyfriend. It’s really emotionally and spiritually damaging. Cheaters are lying to everyone – their partner, their friends and their cheating partners.

I unforunately have way too much experience with a cheater. They are extremely manipulative and cruel to their partners. Khloe could very well have thought they were working on their relationship when this happened.
My ex told me he wanted to reconcile and work on our relationship but it was “going to take time.” after a rough month between us. Found out two weeks later he was sleeping with someone else and lying to my face about it every day. I very much consider this a total betrayal after 5 years of dating. This is what they do.
