Jon Gosselin may be lamely trying to keep up the facade that he’s still with the “one” woman he’s hooked up with since his wife exiled him to the apartment above the garage, but his actions continue to show that he’s a horndog who will jump on anything in his immediate vicinity. There was a teacher, the plastic surgeon’s daughter, the tabloid reporter, a cocktail waitress/model he hired to babysit his kids, and now a couple of co-eds he met at a party. Given how lazy Jon seems on his TV show, I’m surprised that he even has the ability to deal with two women at once. Maybe they all went out drinking together while Jon sloppily complained about what a slave driver his estranged wife is:
The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star’s most recent blunder took place at a private party thrown by a student at Parsons School of Design.
Though he only stayed for 30 minutes, according to several in attendance, Gosselin arrived with a paparazzo in tow and left with two female students.
Gosselin’s choice of a plus-one is almost more shocking than the company he picked up along the way. If the troubled dad of eight is trying to keep his personal life off-camera, keeping company with the very people who will sell photos to media is not the way to do it.

Let’s see – hanging out with a paparazzo or Michael Lohan – which one is worse? The photographer is the lesser of two evils. At least a paparazzo will go behind your back to give quotes and stories to the press and won’t do it above board to promote their own skeezy image.
Radar Online reports what we’ve been hearing for a while – that Jon has been pissing off the executives at TLC, the network that produces his broken family’s reality show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” According to Radar, TLC is very annoyed at having to blur out all the douchetastic Jon Hardy shirts this guy wears daily. Jon might be reduced to making money off event appearances soon, because TLC is considering cutting him from the show:
TLC is also extremely unhappy with their Ed Hardy-loving star, sources tell RadarOnline.com exclusively.
One result of that unhappiness is that the network has made a command decision to blur any brand logos that Jon wears on the show.
Yes, right now that means Ed Hardy shirts.
The network blurred the shirt logos last week and high-level executives have now decided to make it a policy, RadarOnline.com has learned…
“TLC feels like they are being used by Jon,” said a source close to the situation. “They want to send him a message loud and clear…”
And while they will never admit it publicly, there has been talk by some executive at TLC about following Kate’s lead and divorcing Jon.

Radar reminds us that TLC decided to pull Jon’s interview with E!, citing contract requirements, but allowed Kate to go through with her Today Show interview. It’s smart to consider dropping Jon from the show, but TLC should do the right thing and stop filming entirely. Maybe they can do a follow-up with the family in a few months, but it’s massively unfair to their children to let the filming and the media circus continue. No one is looking out for the children’s interests, either the corporation that’s been profiting from their parents’ divorce or their parents themselves – who rely on them for their main source of income.

While I’m not a big fan of Kate, I am beginning to understand why she had to treat him like a child. He is.
Why is it that everybody wants Jon and Kate cancelled but don’t have a problem with all of the other show that has kids? Nobody is saying that 18 Kids and Counting or Toddlers and Tiaras is exploitive and should be cancelled. I do think Jon and Kate should be put on hiatus for awhile since the divorce is getting messy and sleazy. The kids don’t need cameras in their faces right now.

This trainwreck needs to end. When will the parents and TLC stop exploiting these children for money? Will everyone wait until one of the kids gets abused by a stranger or ‘helper’ or until one tries to either runaway or try to kill themselves.

Yeah, I agree – this needs to stop now. It’s brought out the ugliest sides of people and will only continue to do so. The advertisers are also just as much to blame if not more so, as they’re the ones essentially funding the whole project.
But I really do hope Jon falls flat on his face for the way he’s been acting. He’s been so disrespectful to his family and so dangerously irresponsible.

While I think initally people watched “Jon and Kate plus 8” because it was intersting seeing how a real family dealt with a situation like that and the kids are so cute. But they aren’t a regular family anymore. Regular familes with a houseful of kids, don’t have the time and money to be taking them on great vacations or doing exciting things with them everyday or have nannies, cooks, bodyguards and live in a 1.1 million dollar home, (That cracks me up in every article that is mentioned). People are just watching because it’s like viewing a car wreck, you can’t just can’t look away. These kids shouldn’t be making money for their parents. Also, I think it starts some people thinking if they have a big enough family or their kids are doing freaky things, they will get on tv.
My late grandfather was one of 14. But that was common back then, especially if you lived on a farm. Today they would have their own reality show!
i agree with beth, too. i think all those shows should be taken off the air. kids can’t have normal lives with cameras following them 24/7. the toddlers & tiaras show especially skeeves me out…those girls are like little robot-prostitutes and their mothers are creepy as hell. what kind of parent sexualizes their little girl for money and crowns? john and patsy ramsey…enough said.
Most of the photos show Jon hugging his children & playing with them. The children love their dad and don’t know he is a douche, he is just their dad whom they miss terribly. Kicking Jon off the show, with Kate yapping nonstop would be a horror! Plus it would give Kate even more power, which she certainly doesn’t need.

Jon is fat and a douche as far as dating goes but he is a great dad and has always been. The children PREFER Jon to their mother. He is never lazy and lame with his children like he is with women.

Regardless of what kate feels about him, Jon is a very good father to his kids and they are always smiling happily and naturally affectionate with him, unlike thier sad face when with the mother. TLC needs to stay out of this and not take sides or it can come back to bite them. They claim it is a reality show, Jon is part of the kids lives and part of this family.
I have always been partial to Jon since when I used to watch the show (2 years ago). Not for his outstanding personality or any signs of morality, but, because of how he interacted with his children. He has always shown a consistently warm, loving manner towards them with a high level of patience and attempts at understanding them and their different temperaments.
It seems like when he’s away from his children that he reverts to the the 20-year-old personality that he was when he started this family circus with Kate. Since then, he’s been ostracized from his friends and family because of his wife, but I think that when he is with his children, he makes a sincere effort to be a good parent to them. He probably doesn’t think that his children will ever be aware of his antics with various women/groupies when he is away from them as they have limited exposure to regular TV and magazines, etc, but kids do talk at school and they can be cruel. That is fairly naive (stupid) of him and he deserves the dbag label for that.
But, I also think that his away-from-family behavior may be his passive-aggressive way of getting the family out of the TV show. He didn’t want the circus to continue while he and Kate were continuing to deceive the public into believing that they were still a happy couple. He’s probably split between being flattered/excited by the attention from the public and not wanting his kids to be in the circus anymore.
Minute Sixteen is going to be rough for this guy.
To JustV what about him having the babysitter/cocktail waitress/nude model over at the house and the lady he met at a bar and brought back to the his house where his kids were at 3 a.m. and her leaving at 6? What if one the kids went to his bedroom in the middle of the night? Which children do all the time.

I find it rich, though, that TLC complains about logos on Jon’s shirt when they are ALL about product placement and whoring out to sponsors. It’s just that Ed Hardy’s not a sponsor of the show, so we can’t see THAT logo, but we can see the hundreds of others.

he’s a great dad?? really?? when its his turn with the kids i dont see him doing much but walking around talking on his cellphone. i rarely see him interacting with them at all. but i do see him down by the fence talking to all the people and paps. does he ever take these children away and do anything with them?? or is he saving all that money for himself and his “girlfriends”. and i use that term. loosely.

I agree with JustV – I wondered if all this disgusting behavior by Jon is his passive aggressive way of sabatoging the “dream”. I think he could stand up and be a man about it if that’s the case. Just say NO! But there again, how would he make a living? As for the Duggars – I actually appreciate this show – though I may not personally subscribe to their religion, they have well balanced children, don’t owe anyone a penny, and seem to focus on helping those around them. Perhaps that is where TLC needs to focus?
I have to CRINGE when people say that Jon is a wonderful Dad.
While I agree he is affectionate with his children, I think he is a horrendous example for his daughters as well as his sons. Would he want any man treating his daughters the way he is treating/whoring around with these young women? YUK, GROSS, GAG. It’s disgusting.
