What does Jennifer Aniston’s 11-11 tattoo mean? It’s probably something to do with her deceased dog Norman, maybe. [Jezebel]

11:11 is spiritual, a lot of indie musicians write songs or title their albums 11:11, as in an artistic spiritual awakening. If she’s repurposed it for her dog she may not have known that?

    • Original Jenns says:

I’ve heard that, too. Someone specifically said it was open gates in Heaven. So it could be any number of things spiritually connected, or Norman. That was her soul mate 🙂

    • HeyDay says:

She’s not that deep…prolly her own birthday

      • Jenn says:

@HeyDay I once read that Lisa Kudrow based her characterization of Phoebe on Jennifer Aniston — hippy-dippy woo-woo. So, deep or not, it actually sounds like something Jen would be into, hehehe

    • Alissa says:

I have an 11:11 tattoo. it’s the time I was born, and you’re also supposed to make a wish when it’s that time. it’s not that deep.

  2. Intheknow says:

It’s a number I see every time I look at the clock. I almost feel compelled to look. No idea what it means.

    • Guest with Cat says:

I see that number all the time and have since about 3 or 4 years ago. Same with 1234 sequence. I didn’t know it meant anything at all to see number sequences. I just thought it is some compulsion of the human brain to see patterns as significant. I dont just see these numbers when I happen to look at a clock. I see them on receipts or just about anywhere, really. What mystifies me is why I haven’t seen this all my life. We’ve had digital clocks since I was a kid. I’ve been alive a long time. This is new weirdness for me.

    • Audrey says:

It’s a common psychological thing. You look at the clock all the time, but it’s only when you see “unusual” numbers, like 12:34 or 11:11 that you take notice. So you may look at a clock at 1:35, but that’s not an unusual number, so you don’t notice it.

This concept has the ability to change your life when you realize how much you DON’T notice or how much you choose to notice.

  3. SomeChick says:

IDC what it means. She is canceled in my book for calling the plague “beautiful.” EFF THAT and EFF HER!

    • Guest with Cat says:

From a purely entertainment perspective, I like Jennifer Aniston on Friends and The Morning Show. Within her very limited world, she does have interesting insights she brings to The Morning Show.

In my one read through, I didn’t think she was saying that Covid itself was beautiful, but that her own experience in lockdown away from her nornal routine was personally beneficial to her. It gave her an opportunity to find peace and beauty she normally doesn’t take time to seek out. I could be wrong, but that is how I saw it on my one and only read through in between tasks in a busy day.

However, it was tone deaf as hell to say it how she said it, especially in a conversation with women who clearly have more depth to contribute to a group conversation about world events. She does come across remarkably self centered and lacking any curiosity about the condition and experience of other people not in her sphere. I am beginning to see why Brad started looking for a little more substance with Angelina. Unfortunately he’s got the depth of a teaspoon to offer in return. I wonder how many dinner conversations it took before Angelina realized what an empty vessel she chose and how many more conversations beyond that point before she realized she could never offer enough to fill that vessel.

I’m not into canceling someone for a single statement and have never expected much of anything from celebs – most don’t seem that emotionally or intellectually evolved, and that’s fine.

But the idea that lockdown has finally enabled her to slow down and enjoy things seems crazy – she’s a single gal with tons of money and no responsibility to kids, parents, etc. I don’t think it took Covid to give her the ability to enjoy what she has. Sure, she has to keep her career going, but she spoke a lot about being a homebody and enjoying socializing and vacationing and exercising, so I doubt Covid all of a sudden changed her life.

      • Gretel says:

        Well put. I completely agree.

    • minx says:

Thank you. I’m sure she has a nice life, tons of money, no kids to worry about educating or monitoring during the lockdown. She could just stay isolated and reflective. But that’s not what the majority of us are facing. Jobs and income ground to a halt, people are frantic about getting sick and keeping families functional. So she should count her blessings and just STFU.

      • Sushiroll says:

At this point in time, Shutting The FU is a blessing in itself. Especially from some people, like Jen and Gal Gadot and all the rest of these dipshit tone-deaf celebrities. If that’s all they can offer, they really truly should. And generously.

  4. Mrs. Peel says:

Knowing her intellect level, it’s likely the largest number she can count to, and the 11th letter of the alphabet she can recite – all without assistance.

  5. Case says:

11:11 has a bunch of different meanings. I’ve actually been looking into it more recently because I’ve seen it a LOT when I look at the clock these last few months.

I am THRILLED about the change Disney is making to Splash Mountain. The ride itself isn’t offensive, but it is based off Song of the South, an old, racist film. To transform it into a Princess and the Frog ride feels so, so right, and that theme of that film will fit perfectly into the structure of the ride. I’m sure some vocal pessimists are upset about it, but I’ve largely seen a really positive response from Disney fans. Princess and the Frog is a much-loved but underrated film and deserves the recognition a ride will bring.

    • ItReallyIsYou,NotMe says:

I try to be grateful that these changes are happening at all and not get wrapped up in the why they took so long, but……WHY did it take so long, Disney?!!!!!! I remember being uncomfortable with the Splash Mountain ride when the Disney World version opened and I wasn’t even a teenager then. That said, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what they’re doing by turning it into a ride based on The Princess and the Frog!

      • Case says:

What’s strangest to me is that Splash Mountain isn’t even that old! It opened in 1989! I can’t even fathom why they used that film as inspiration to begin with when they have so many great, cute movies to choose from that don’t feature racist themes.

That said, I’m just glad they’re changing it now. I think it will be perfect!

  6. Soni says:

I watched 10 minutes of 365 days and had to turn it off. It was not only offensive as a woman (and human being) but it was a terrible movie! So not the time for crap tv. Netflix really shouldn’t have.

    • Lex says:

Oh my gosh! I cannot fathom why people are so into that absolute piece of crap movie. It beggars belief.

It was so boring, the dialogue is atrocious…
After she got captured I started fast forwarding to get to the allegedly steamy sex scenes and was disastrously disappointed. Is this what people are craving?! Ughhh. Dull. Do not waste your time.

  7. Lucky Charm says:

My sister came home from work one night really tired after pulling a double shift, and walked into her kitchen and thought the microwave was broken because all she saw were four straight lines with two dots in the middle. And then the fourth straight line changed to the number 2 lol. So now everytime I see a digital clock at 11:11 I think of texting her to say my clock is broken. It’s funny how frequently that happens now, too.

  8. Agirlandherdog says:

Oddly enough, I was recently interviewed on Good Morning America, and it was a real wake up call as to what the female anchors and contributors go through every morning. I was in hair and makeup for over and hour just to be on TV for 3 minutes! My normal hair and makeup routine takes 5 minutes. And while we were there, the makeup artists were constantly running around touching up makeup. It is serious business. But I prefer seeing them at home, looking more casual and relaxed. I bet they prefer it too. Savannah responded with class. I would have launched into a tirade about sexism and unrealistic beauty standards, but she knows she has to keep it light.

  9. Riley says:

I think it’s to remind her that us normal gals have 11″s between our eyebrows after a certain age because we don’t botox them away monthly with our on-call doctor. Like a tie in to the peasants.

  10. Snappyfish says:

Veteran’s Day…all I got but truly it should be theirs. The 11th day of the 11th hour of the 11th month…

  11. Ann says:

I t might have something to do with her birthday. I remember she used to wear a ring that said Jenifer on it, and Justin had a ring with his own name on it. I’m not a fan and think she’s quite narcistic so if that was the meaning of tattoo, it wouldn’t surprise me.

  12. TeamMeg says:

Here is a good angelic/spiritual explanation of what 11:11 means, from Doreen Virtue. I’ve been seeing this number since I was a kid, too. Many people think of it as a portal.

    https://spiritlibrary.com/doreen-virtue/number-sequences-from-the-angels

    • Jenn says:

I know not everyone loves Doreen Virtue ever since she disavowed her contributions to cartomancy, but I think she’s a total blast.

  13. JustMe2 says:

Or it’s for her birthday feb 11 -if feb is the 2nd month (11) lol

  14. Nev says:

It’s for her dog passing. Some grace.

  15. NatureLover says:

That video of that maggot in that poor guys Lift was disgusting. It makes my blood boil when I see all of these people in public chanting that the masks to protect against the COVID virus are chanting how their constitutional rights are being stomped on to wear a f#$&ing mask, when it has NOTHING to do with your freedom rights or constitutional rights! I am so sick of this maggots spreading misinformation that they have no idea WTF they are talking about. I have lost faith in the American people. Not only was I surprised that there were so many stupid people that voted for a reality show host and that they continue to support him. Though, I was delighted as to hearing of his meltdown when Tulsa was a bust!

  16. Jenn says:

That Towleroad link is jaw-dropping. Edgar is a hero.

  17. LadySwampwitchGivsNeauxFux says:

Ooh maybe 11:11 is weed o’clock and wine o’clock

  18. Miss Gloss says:

11:11 means new beginnings in numerology and many people claim to see it over and over.

    • Calibration says:

It’s psychology. If you suggest a number to anyone and pretend it’s important, they’ll see it over and again. Sadly, people are gullible. I did this experiment with a group of people and a random number and everyone saw the “important” number. It’s BS

  19. MargaritasForBreakfast says:

I used to be a Jennifer Aniston fan and was firmly team Aniston but as time goes by I have little interest in her or brad or jolie.

  20. Jules says:

“White people really cannot handle being told to wear masks.”– one asshole in the backseat of a car is not “all white people”. This language is hugely problematic and only serves to further divide and create drama. In my predominantly Latino neighborhood, I’m not gonna mouth off that “Latinos cannot handle being told to wear a mask” because it’s an asshole thing to say, and generalizing is just dumb. But hey, if you think this language drives traffic to your site, just look at the shit Lainey is eating.

    • ChillyWilly says:

Yeah. It’s not just white people. I see people of all races, ages, gender, and socioeconomic status not wearing them every time I go to the store. It’s just that white people tend to get more mouthy and make a scene about it. Probably because they don’t have to fear being beaten or murdered by the cops if they act crazy.

  21. Annabel says:

Yeah, “white people don’t like being told to wear masks” doesn’t line up with my observations. I live in a racially diverse area where mask usage is very high, like maybe 90% of adults are wearing them on the street. My home office looks out on the street, so I see people walk by all day while I’m working. The people in my neighborhood who aren’t wearing masks are almost all men. I’ve noticed no racial differences here. Men of every race are being utter a**holes about this whole mask thing.

  22. Aubrey says:

    Can we cover Stassi’s pregnancy?

  23. reg says:

It mean she’s spiritually awakened and she will never have children, she was supposedly pregnant when Brad left her for Evil Jolie

  24. Michelle says:

    Jennifer Anistons IQ.
