I wasn’t planning on doing another Amazon post today but then I checked out the Prime Day deals, which end tonight at midnight. There’s so much stuff I want! I need to work on this because we’re in a pandemic and I’m just collecting sh-t. Also my plan is to move to Canada so I don’t go bankrupt from hospital bills if something happens to me. Shopping is such a balm though. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post I’ve been trying to give money to the Democrats instead, but I can do both. Here are some things I either want or have already.

A NuFace toning device for $97.50 off
I own a NuFace Trinity, I got it on eBay for around the same price it’s on sale now. It’s lasted over two years now and I love it. This is a little electrocurrent device that tones your face. You use it with conducting gel, aloe vera gel works great, for about five minutes a day. I only use it once a week and swear it lessened the frown lines around my mouth. (I do not recommend the cheaper NuFace mini because mine died on me, I got a replacement and that died too.) You can now get a NuFace Trinity on Amazon for the price I paid on eBay. I’d love to get a NuFace but I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and Im terrified that it would set it off somehow, my thinking is that the micro current would activate the nerve, I dont know just guessing and I dont want to spend the money and end up in screaming pain.
I bought myself a Bioderma serum yesterday that I had been eyeing for a wee while now, got £4 off, better in my pocket than theirs. I then thought about getting some Pixi Milky Hydrating mist but its actually more expensive on Amazon than it is in Boots … oh well! Off to see what else I can buy.
I’ve been using a competing electro-current device called Nuovaluce for two months. It’s not as painful and doesn’t require a gel. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in “lift” on my brow. I will continue to use it.
I got a NuFace for Christmas last year and really started using it daily during the pandemic. It has made a huge difference in my face, lifting my drooping eyelids, filling in my naso-labial folds, and smoothing out the crows feet around my eyes. I liked it so much I bought the attachment for eyes, and that has helped my normally purple undereye circles fill in with actual skin color! Consistency is key for the best results.
Just to add, I buy pure aloe gel from Target to use on my face and it works very well as conducting gel for the NuFace, but it burns my eyes. So around my eyes, I use ultrasound gel instead. Both are cheaper than the NuFace gel. I also want to mention that this should never hurt. Use a good layer of gel and refresh it with some water on your fingers if it gets dry.
Ooh! I’ve been on the fence about a nuface, but I may need to pull the trigger now (40 & a pandemic all in the same year has been rough on my skin).
