Karlie Kloss got started in the modeling industry when she was pretty young, and it feels like she’s been super-famous for a decade, which is why I was a little shocked to realize that she’s only 28 years old? I thought for sure she was already in her 30s. Anyway, Karlie has been with Joshua Kushner for years, even before his brother turned into the Idiocracy-version of Dick Cheney. Karlie and Joshua got married in October 2018, after she converted to Judaism. And now, two years later, she’s knocked up!
Karlie Kloss is pregnant! The supermodel, 28, is expecting her first child with husband Joshua Kushner, PEOPLE exclusively confirms.
“Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021,” a source close to Kloss tells PEOPLE. “She will be the most amazing mother.”
Kloss and Kushner, 35, just celebrated their second wedding anniversary after tying the knot in Oct. 2018 during a small, Jewish ceremony in upstate New York, with under 80 guests. The bride wore a custom Dior gown (which took over 700 hours to create) for the ceremony.
Congrats, I guess. Another baby Kushner coming into the world. I actually give the Kloss-Kushner children a better chance at life than the Trump-Kushner kids. Hopefully Karlie will give birth during the Biden-Harris administration. Even if that makes for awkward dinners with the Kushners. (They think she’s a dumb shiksa anyway.)

There was an article that said the family disliked Karlie not only because she was from a different religious background but because she didn’t come from an equally prominent/rich family and hadn’t gone to a prestigious university. To me it is hilarious that a family headed by a man who literally went to jail is criticizing Karlie for . . . not being super-rich. I feel bad for her dealing with that. The Kushners, to put it mildly, don’t seem very nice. But maybe she’s not so nice, either.
I look at him and all I see is Jared with a fluffy wig on.

I don’t even get how she’s a model. I don’t follow her career so no idea how she got her start, but all I can say is, if she really made her name as a model, how…encouraging for young women everywhere.

I’ve seen a bit of a boom among us normal folk too. (example my brother’s girlfriend is expecting. I’m going to be an aunt for the first time!). I guess people run out of things to do in quarantine eventually and BC slips by the wayside for some.

Yeah Nic919 – I’m with you. Babies are wonderful , full stop. But I’m really sick of people defending these two. Joshua is NOT much better than his shady, criminal family. He has benefitted and continues to do so. If Joshua and Karlie came out with a big statement condemning his brother and family and Trumps and cut them off, I would feel differently. But they have not done that. These two are the definition of COMPLICIT.
1000% agree with you both. These two are complicit. Joshua has benefitted (earned millions) from the terrible mess Jared did with the covid response that has caused 300K plus deaths as of today. Karlie wearing that Bidden-Harris mask means nothing. With all the Trumps-Kushners have done – Joshua and Karlie needs to do something huge to dissociate themselves.

The article I read implied she converted to Judaism. I guess that means the baby will be Jewish. As a non religious person I don’t get the appeal of any religion making someone who was either not religious or of a different faith wish to convert. His family I think is on the conservative side of Judaism but I never hear of them talking about their faith. So he probably wanted her to convert. But he is so religious he looked outside his faith for a partner. It all seems phony to me. IDK maybe other people find it appealing. She signed up for this for whole life. This all seems like a tattoo saying “ No Regerts”

I disagree. I myself am married to someone of another race and biracial kids. My husband does not ask me sacrifice my own culture. What the Kushners ask of their wives is cultural assimilation. I see that Ivanka and Jared observe holidays even if they don’t talk about their faith. These women are probably learning new cultural traditions and are expected to teach them to their kids meaningfully. That’s not a small ask. They have to learn how how to cook the food, probably have kosher kitchens, understand the meaning of the holidays, execute the actual events which probably are scrutinized by family members. Religion is one of the defining elements of culture. I cannot imagine taking on a new culture and sacrificing my own. If I married a Jewish person we totally have a menorah and a Christmas tree. Even though I am not religious I like to decorate like pagan I am. Lol.
Yeah, the whole thing of a woman apparently having to convert to a different religion to mollify her husband / his family is gross to me.
My great-grandma was Lutheran and had to convert to Catholicism to marry my great- grandpa. She had apparently led quite the adventurous life until her parents made her settle down and marry a farmer.
I think Judaism passes through the mother, so it would make sense for Kloss to convert, just so that her children could be considered Jewish in the community and faith.
