It’s only been three months since President Biden came into office, and it already feels so peaceful. Granted, bad sh-t is still happening on a daily basis, but it definitely feels like millions of people have collectively unclenched. But in the past three months, there have been too few reckonings for the murderous Nazi clowns who came dangerously close to destroying America. Where are all of the indictments, the DOJ investigations, the grand jury subpoenas, the criminal charges, the civil lawsuits? Well, here we go. On Wednesday morning, federal authorities executed a raid on Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment and office. The reason for the execution of multiple search warrants? Giuliani’s f–k sh-t in Ukraine, where he was trying to bribe people into saying bizarre crap about Hunter Biden.
Federal investigators in Manhattan executed search warrants early Wednesday at the home and office of Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who became President Donald J. Trump’s personal lawyer, stepping up a criminal investigation into Mr. Giuliani’s dealings in Ukraine, three people with knowledge of the investigation said. The investigators seized Mr. Giuliani’s electronic devices and searched his Madison Avenue apartment and his Park Avenue office at about 6 a.m., two of the people said.
The execution of search warrants is an extraordinary action for prosecutors to take against a lawyer, let alone a lawyer for a former president. It was a major development in the long-running investigation into Mr. Giuliani and a remarkable moment in his long arc as a public figure.
Mr. Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert J. Costello, called the searches unnecessary because his client had offered to answer prosecutors’s questions, except those regarding Mr. Giuliani’s privileged communications with the former president. “What they did today was legal thuggery,” Mr. Costello said. “Why would you do this to anyone, let alone someone who was the associate attorney general, United States attorney, the mayor of New York City and the personal lawyer to the 45th president of the United States.”
F.B.I. agents on Wednesday morning also executed a search warrant at the Washington-area home of Victoria Toensing, a lawyer close to Mr. Giuliani who had dealings with several Ukrainians involved in seeking negative information on the Bidens, according to people with knowledge of that warrant, which sought her phone.
The federal authorities have largely focused on whether Mr. Giuliani illegally lobbied the Trump administration in 2019 on behalf of Ukrainian officials and oligarchs, who at the time were helping Mr. Giuliani search for damaging information on Mr. Trump’s political rivals, including Mr. Biden, who was then a leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination. The United States attorney’s office in Manhattan and the F.B.I. had sought for months to secure search warrants for Mr. Giuliani’s phones and electronic devices.
Under Mr. Trump, senior political appointees in the Justice Department repeatedly sought to block such a warrant, The New York Times reported, slowing the investigation as it was gaining momentum last year. After Merrick B. Garland was confirmed as Mr. Biden’s attorney general, the Justice Department lifted its objection to the search.
Let the indictments flow like water! Is Giuliani the fart-soaked lynchpin of the Trump crime syndicate? Not really, but Giuliani was and is involved at a lot of different levels. Giuliani left his fingerprints all over Donald Trump’s attempt to “dirty up” Hunter Biden in Ukraine. So… let the federal authorities start pulling at that string and let’s see what unravels next.
Vintage anger farts. You know he was angry-farting up a storm yesterday!
This is the most coherent argument Giuliani has made for weeks pic.twitter.com/H7o0P2jRnp

There’s no way something treasonous doesn’t turn up. They better not let him make a plea deal
*If* he gives up the bigger fish, I hope he gets one.
The only bigger fish are Jared and DJT himself. That, to me, would be worth a plea deal!
Same. I want trump number one and then junior, and Barr and Pompeo would be nice also. Rudy can be disbarred and spend 18 months somewhere if he’s willing to rat them all out.
And Ivanka. Can ‘t forget treasonous Barbie!
Toensing was involved with representing Trump during the Mueller investigation. They took her phones, which likely means they already have her phone records of who she called and who called her. Very likely Barr will also be the subject of a search warrant within the next month.
Your words are music to my ears, Lightpurple.
Pleasssse let this happen.
Toensing likely connected Giuliani to her criminal clients in Ukraine. They are collecting evidence against him. This won’t touch Barr.
Christmas in late April. Who would have thought.
It has been very peaceful lately. I attribute a lot of it to the President not spewing asinine comments that would add fuel to fires which were already burning. There was a time when I would roll my eyes and say all politicians are the same, but they are not. As the saying in Dr. Strange goes: The bill comes due.
Someone on Twitter said that 4 years of Trump was like a car alarm going off non stop and then it finally stopped when he lost the election and lost his Twitter. Blessed silence.
That’s a good analogy.
I don’t care about the whining – these guys always whine and do the pikachu face when they get caught. What I’m interested in the is the blatant “but this isn’t supposed to happen to people like ME” of it all. Bro – no one cares that you held all those titles. The system is working when someone with that kind of power is still held accountable. It may not be how y’all crooks actually set the system up but it’s how it was always supposed to be.
It also makes him look super guilty. I mean, if your argument against the use of a search warrant is that you are basically above the law than what other laws might you think you are above?
If you and your client are doing something illegal, attorney/client privilege does not apply.
All of them. Duh.
Now he knows how all the Hispanic and Black males felt when they were stopped and frisked on the streets of New York. They were probably less guilty than he is. I will bet this investigation actually started under Barr like the one involving Matt Gaetz.
Trump may not go to jail, but just like Nixon, all his minions will.
Let’s do Stephen Miller next.
Please!! Yes, go after that POS immediately as he is just as guilty as Rudy and he is still a problem with our everyday lives!!
*in my creepy chucky voice*
they’re commmmmingggggggg for youuuuuuu
My favorite part of this is how one of his neighbors stood before the microphones in front of the building, gleefully letting the reporters know that the Feds carried a lot of stuff out of Rudy’s apartment.
OMG that was SOOOO NY.
The folks at the Four Seasons Lawn place were also very vocal yesterday about these events. Apparently they have a gift shop and everything now. I’m cackling.
She was the best. “My ex husband called me and told me to look outside!” lol
Dang! I wish I had seen that! That reminds me of that lady in the fur coat, drinking her wine and enjoying the people protesting the former guy’s criminal daughter in Kalorama.
This post brings me joy!
There’s a lot of investigation going with the people trump surrounded himself with. I hope they get guiliani tho. Rat.
I love how his lawyer mentioned that Giuliani was “the personal lawyer to the 45th president of the United States”, like that’s some sort of accomplishment and not THE F–KING REASON WHY THEY RAIDED HIM.
Also, I’m quite disturbed at the lack of 9/11 mentions in Costello’s statement. What is this, amateur hour? At least throw it in there after the “mayor of NYC” bit!
So was Michael Cohen and he went to jail. Cheeto sure has been silent. Deciding if it looks best to support Rudy or, like with Cohen, declare he barely knew him.
They’re saving the 9/11 stuff for when the charges are filed.
Also, why is “extraordinary” for the Feds to investigate a lawyer? It’s not like having that career gives you some magical protection against being guilty of crimes.
I danced around my living room yesterday. My mom was over and she asked if she could turn the news on (I have basically banned cable news). She told me there’s a lot of stuff being said on Twitter and she wants to check. So I said of course, and next thing you know this is in our faces. I screamed, and then literally started dancing and clapping.
I only wish he could have to face charges for what he did to Hillary. He was in deep cahoots with the FBI NYC field office, and the filth they made up about her. And they forced Comey (I mean, he’s a coward and he caved) to announce 11 days before the election he was reopening the email investigation. They also are the ones who told the NY Times that there was nothing going on with Trump and Russia even though Trump’s server was pinging away. Times reprinted verbatim as if they were stenographers.
I will never forget any of this.
Imagine destroying your reputation and legacy over a man like Trump. Not mention the possibility of going to jail and having to pay for expensive lawyers.
What legacy? Taking credit for others work as a DA.
NYC was a mess with all the police brutality under him, sad that 911 happened, and the President went into hiding and Giuliani stepped up, but he was always turd, married his cousin, then announced to the public he was divorcing his second wife, before telling her.
This. For many, many New Yorkers, his legacy can be boiled down to two words: “Giuliani Time”.
He’s already paying for expensive lawyers, because he had a massive defamation lawsuit dropped on him (also ones on Powell, and Mr. MyPillow) a few months ago by Dominion, and is fighting that in the courts.
Ghouliani’s executive assistant has also been served with a subpoena to appear before a grand jury next month. I know it feels like it’s taking too long, but they’re building a case, hopefully to force plea bargains that will make all these swamp-dwellers radioactive.
“Why would you do this to anyone, let alone someone who was the associate attorney general, United States attorney, the mayor of New York City and the personal lawyer to the 45th president of the United States.”
Because… um… he’s a criminal?
They really thought consequences would never visit them.
I KNOW, that sentence is so telling. They really think they’re untouchable. Unfortunately, they’re often right, which makes it SO very satisfying that in this case it’s coming back on them.
@paranormalgirl
Came here to say the same!!!!!
The Four Seasons Landscaping post was the best. And looks like his Don Jr. Wannabe entitled son Andrew (read about his suing Duke because he got cut from the golf team) is going to try and leverage his faux outrage to get press for his fledgling political career.
All I heard from his son was how could this happen when HUNTER. Then I had to click out before I lost my lunch.
Andrew’s press conference prompted recollections of the mid 90s SNL cold open where Chris Farley played an attention hogging Andrew, based upon his behavior at his dad’s first NYC mayoral inauguration.
OMG, I totally forgot about that. Could tell even then the kid would grow up to be a tool, lol!
“Vintage anger farts” LMAO
I spit out my coffee laughing on that one! Yes, I realized today, how much more peaceful things have seemed since that POS orange clown left the White House. Of course, terrible things are still happening every day, and the trial of Derek Chauvin was a big milestone for our country (hopefully a catalyst for change in police reform and racial injustice). But, yes I don’t wake up everyday and think WHAT THE FUCK is that asshole going to do today???? And I love seeing this – Giuliani’s house raided! Keep it coming! These people need to be held accountable for the horrific shit they did to this country the last four years!
That quote ‘if they can do this to the personal lawyer for the president than they can do this to anyone!’ We’re not dumb. We know they can already do it to us little people with no money or connections. We are deliriously happy they can ‘do this’ to all criminals. This is the USA and sometimes we actually get it right.
Bingo – they’re not “anyone,” they’re frustrated customers who want, and are trying to buy, rule by law, not rule of law.
Rudy has a lot of dirt of Trump and he will roll over to save his own hide.
Looking forward to the fireworks.
For sure. No honor among thieves and all.
It’s funny, just the day before I saw someone say “whatever happened to the investigations into Giuliani and Trump?” and then bam, Fed raid.
I expect a diagnosis of dementia if it looks like prison time.
Just realized I have no idea who President Biden’s personal attorney is, or whether he even has one.
God, that’s so nice.
I am looking forward to watching it all come out.
Vintage anger farts. I must use this now. I’m stealing it. Apologies in advance.
Anybody see the unhinged press conference his son gave????? Talk about the apple not falling far from the tree!!!!
It was on Nightly News with Lester Holt. If I can find it I will try to link it
Really it was a thing of beauty
I’m not shocked that many of the insurrectionists and the republicans who fueled the insurrection(Josh, Ted, Mo Brooks, Kevin, Ron, the 2 QA gun loving women) are not facing the consequences of their actions. Biden still has some Trump left overs in his administration and Christopher Wray is still in charge of the FBI, he caved to the demands of Trump and the republicans when it came to investigating Kavanaugh, refused to defend his employees when Trump attacked them, stood behind when Trump blamed the hacks on our elections on Iran and China, and during a hearing this year, the republicans got him to walk back his previous statements about Antifa(he now claims that Antifa is a real organization and that he will be investigating them).
The major problem is that once the press loses interest, these investigations into republicans are buried and over. Notice how the press has stopped covering Matt G’s trafficking of kids? How the 2 QA gun women gave tours to the insurrectionists days before the attack? How Ted and Josh were campaigning during the attack? The press needs to do follow-ups and not allow these stories to get lost because it just emboldens the republican. Why was Ted Cruz and the QA woman even allowed to attend Biden’s speech after their roles in the insurrection?
Haha! Unfortunately, no matter what happens, there will be people out there who think that he was framed and that this was all a liberal witch hunt.
This reminds me of the “From Russia with Love” parody video that came out a few years ago. I’m loving seeing it play out in real life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEG41O5Y9-k
I read a comment that Barr halting the investigation when he did actually robbed Giuliani of a pardon. Then again, I think someone got through to trump at some point that pardons mean they have to testify.
The easiest way to avoid these situations is to, I dunno, have ethics, morals and do things legally.
So on Day 100 of Joe Biden’s presidency the newly purged Department of Justice has presented him (and us) with a gift. A gift that says, “Hey, y’all. We’re coming for you!”.
