Stephanie Pratt is following in the esteemed footsteps of her disgusting older brother Spencer. Stephanie was arrested very early Sunday morning on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles. I’m not saying Spencer has ever been arrested for DUI, just that the Pratts seem to be a family of jackasses. Stephanie is 23 years old, and as far as I can tell, this is her first arrest. LAPD Officer Kenneth Giles released a statement about the arrest just hours after the cuffs went on: “Stephanie Pratt has been booked on suspicion of driving while under the influence. Pratt remains in custody and very soon will be en route to the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division, where all female suspects are taken. At Van Nuys, she could post her $5,000 bail and be released, or she could remain in custody until she sobers up. That will depend on her situation there.” Us Weekly confirms that she was released on a $5000 bail bond, which seems like too little, in my opinion:

Stephanie Pratt was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at 3:45 a.m. Sunday in Hollywood.

Pratt, 23, was released on $5,000 bail late Sunday morning. Her booking info reveals the 5’7″ reality star weighs 115 lbs.

Pratt had been partying at Holly Montag’s birthday bash at Los Angeles club Empire earlier that night. At 11 p.m., she Twittered: “its my sissy @hollymontags bday party! just finished dinner and going to Empire but im pretty tired aka yes i am the party pooper :(”

Pratt has admitted to having an addiction to drugs and alcohol. She recently opened up to Us Weekly about her battle with bulimia.

“The more I can stress about being honest, [the better],” she told Us. “You are as healthy as your secrets.”

TMZ reported that several people witnessed the arrest, and many started taking pictures. TMZ claims: “Some started taking pictures, which ticked off some of the others and a big fight broke out on the street while Stephanie was being cuffed. But Steph was the only one taken into custody.” Can you imagine that? People getting into a fight over pictures of Stephanie Pratt being arrested? How pathetic. As far as the DUI stuff goes, I’ve talked about this stuff before. I think there should be much harsher penalties for drunk driving, and it always bothers me when some Hollywood douche treats a DUI like it was just some innocent mistake.
